I'm sure there's better tips out there than this, but I'll tell you my strategy so far. I'm sure some of this is pretty obvious but I'll just go over what comes to mind.

I start out by tossing everything to the upper left platform. Reason for this is the UFOs will only attack the left until that platform is dropped. When you get a Woah block let the enemies build up and evolve to get the most coins you can out of it (I get too greedy with this a lot of times and let them build up too much, getting myself killed ). After they eventually drop the left platform, toss everything to the upper right (same thing - UFOs target the right side until it's dropped). Of course you'll have to deviate from the plan somewhat when you can't get to things in time. Just improvise until you get things back under control and then focus back on throwing to the side you need to. This will be pretty easy for the first several dollars.

After the UFOs drop both platforms, pick a side to focus throwing everything too. I tend to just keep throwing right since I usually already have the left side cleared but it doesn't matter. You'll be able to pinpoint your throws to put groups on the upper right floating platform (jump straight up and throw from the upper left or just run and thrown from the middle). If anyone gets low, toss a few down there to keep them in check. Try to time throws to take out enemies that launch out of the lava before they have the chance to land. If you can't get to the stuff down low in time to utilize them, just toss them in the lava.

Shit's going to hit the fan though and while I try to keep focusing on keeping the left side clear, eventually it gets so hectic you'll just be going on instinct and a lot of improvising. The game definitely has some luck to it and some of runs seem destined for failure from the get go, but eventually you'll be scoring higher and higher just as you get used to playing more

When you get comfortable enough to handle crowds just go ahead and start on the bonkers difficulty. Normal difficulty takes way too long to build up money in the beginning and it seems to build up to the bonkers difficulty anyway; just takes longer to get there.

Beat my score and I'm never helping you again.

Thanks top. I think I'm too far down the rabbit hole on other games to let myself get reobsessed with woah dave, but it'd be fun to try to get that 500 coins trophy anyways. Maybe I'll try bonkers mode out. Just for a little tiny bit, that couldn't hurt. Right?

Downloading it now. It is for the PS3, right? Otherwise I should stop the download and do it on my PSTV instead.

Edit: Never mind, it's PS4/Vita. Better start the dl on my PSTV.

Pinball Arcade playas - we'll play pinbot for a week starting Monday? Let's just see how it goes, friend me if you haven't yet. Like I said I'd love to make it unnecessarily complicated, so I'm thinking about using this week to establish handicaps like a bowling league.

Are you using whatever free boards come with it, or would I need to purchase tables to join in on this.

I'm liking it. So many different kinds of attacks and abilities for all the citizens you recruit (I currently have 25 out of 40). The enemies are pretty cool too. Tons of sidequests can get a little overwhelming. I'm surprised how huge the world is. You'll get a lot of value out of this one, even though the trophy list is really shitty. Only has 10, but it easily could have a 30 or so and a plat.

One other thing I just remembered, when the Programmer citizen attacks with his Binary attack, the damage numbers actually appear in binary over the enemy's head. Thought that was a real cool subtle touch.

Nice job picking a hard ass table to start things off. But probably good for handicapping.

I think pinBot started my love affair with pinball when I would play every week before & after my candlepin bowling league when I lived in Maine in 4th & 5th grade.
 
What kind of leaderboards does this Pinball Arcade game have? Is there a weekly one? How will you know my 50 billion point score was from when the contest started or before?
 
I had to adjust my True Trophies goal for 2015.  I had forgot my 2014 score had included popping all the Sound Shapes trophies for PS4 then popping all the DLC trophies for all 3 US versions of the game.  Kind of an artificial one time boost I won't be able to replicate.

Is it rude to give a girl some money and tell her to go pick up lunch, and then hide your car in the garage, tell her you had to leave for an emergency when she calls to see where you're at, and stay in your basement for the rest of the day? Asking for a friend.

And she also might've eaten the last bag of blueberry mini muffins which really pissed my friend off when he woke up and saw the box in the trash.

It would all depend if this friend is a friend who won the lottery and how much he gave to this particular girl for lunch. Are we talking $4 and a coupon like Tyler?

Can we also assume that this friend has no future interest in this girl being there to eat anymore blueberry muffins in the future?

This friend likes her to come hang out sometimes and likes going places with her and likes it when she takes her pants off on occasion, but doesn't really like it when she wakes up the next morning and is like "Let's do something today" when my friend has some trophies he wants to get and doesn't feel like putting on outside pants.

As long as the friend has a good cover story for the "emergency" and she is not psycho and waiting outside, I would say you... I mean your friend is good to go.

any way we could just use the 4 base tables for those of us that were talked out of purchases we wouldn't have played anyway. lol gator im looking at you for saving me money!

Ok, I lied. It was about me. She's not psycho.

She's not just "that" kind of girl. I could've gone to the bar and found five of those within spitting distance because for some reason girls around here will fuck anybody if they think they'll get anything. I won't say I haven't used that to my advantage once or twice, but that was it (though it admittedly does attract a finer class of poon).

We've been best friends since we were 15. We hang out a lot, but we've never been together, though not for my lack of trying back in the day. When she does "sleep over", I think she feels like it's more her giving in and helping out a friend than just her wanting to do it. She knows how I hate feeling like I'm being used for money, so she occasionally takes one for the team, so to speak. If I hadn't known her for so long, I'd think it was just because of the lottery thing.

I could just tell her I want her to leave me alone for the day, but I don't like making her sad.

I'll likely tell her later I made up the story, she'll laugh, and we'll forget about it. Or she'll stab me in the dick with a ballpoint pen. Either way, I'm going to get the Enslaved plat today.

 
Derek's friend Nate showed me a method that is a lot more fun and quicker than the method I was using for GTA Online for getting RP.  I am just about to hit level 70.  Supposedly, when I get there and buy the tank it makes this method go even faster.  I know that has been Derek's goal.  It is too bad you can not play the mission with more than 2 people though.

If anyone wants to do a few rounds this afternoon, let me know.
