I was into death/speed/thrash (much of it was imports) metal more then the hair bands. Not to say I hated ALL the hair bands but I disliked many of them. Some bands didn't start off as horrible hair bands but changed into them later. Out of your list I liked early, Def Leppard, Gun N Roses (upto and through the double live album), Van Halen (till 1984 album) and a handful of Kiss songs. Most these bands jumped the shark at some point and I tuned out. Bon Jovi had one or two songs that I liked but I was never a fan. I also liked the first Cinderella album but that is about for them as well. First few Ratt Albums and even early Twisted Sister.

One band that went from Hair band to hardcore was Pantera. Their first album was very hair bandish. Each album (and their apperence) got more and more hardcore.

Based on what I know, if/when they go to a subscription model, they'll only stop giving you feature updates if you stop paying. You'll continue to get critical/security updates until the lifetime of the version is expired which has historically been around 10 years.

Edit - but who the fuck knows with them. They're showing off holograms today.

Firefox browser question.

I like to use ctrl+home/end to move to the top or bottom of the browser a lot.  Home (move to top) stopped working, but End (move to bottom) still works.  how do I fix this?  I tried google and only found the actual shortcuts so far.

Well, I'll try the Monster Hunter demo a bit more but so far it's about what I expected. Have trouble getting into these games since everything feels so slow and time consuming. Preordered at Amazon but I'll probably cancel and won't try a Best Buy price match.

Everytime I play Monster Hunter I just end up feeling like I'd rather be playing Phantasy Star or something. Just not my style.

This poll for me is tough, I really loved Shadow of Mordor and Shadow Warrior.  But I think I just had more all-out fun with Shadow Warrior, that game really was a blast to play.  Kind of a throw-away vote since I think only me and Wren played it (and were the two that nominated it, anything with more than 1 nomination made it to the voting stage) but I think it was my retail GOTY.

Also don't want to bother preordering through Walmart.com for the $8 in savings (compared to Best Buy) so I'm hoping for the Amazon price match as well.
