Hmm, they re-released the original Shadowgate, Deja Vu 1 and 2, and Uninvited on Steam earlier this week.  I loved those games on the NES.  I'll pick them up and the remake of Shadowgate when I get home.

 
So I was accused of being a scammer/thief by not one but two different businesses today!

I went to put in my preorder online for mkx at best buy with a gift card and when I submitted the website errored out and put up a red 'glitch' message. The order didn't go through, but my GC monies all vanished. You can guess how that story went over with customer service. Suspicious lot in that call center. After getting hung up on twice and a 25 minute hold I should get a refund in 8 days. We'll see.

Then I went to McDonald's to get a soda and some cookies and the dude at the pickup window was insistent that I didn't pay. I paid the gal with change which I'm sure didn't help, but I definitely paid. There was a line of like 10 cars behind me, I was pretty surprised that he and the manager threw down but I guess I was looking especially devious today. Eventually he shoved the goods out the window all pissy, but I'm not sure why he didn't just ask the gal literally 10 feet away if someone gave her $2.17 in change instead of repeatedly telling me I didn't pay.

I think we would all agree Gamestop is the king of shady practices. I never buy anything from them listed as new unless it is sealed. I think that has been 1 time in 5 years. It was on BF and the game was $10.

I don't even really buy used from them anymore.

How do they get away with selling new merchandise, opening it, and slapping a used sticker on it when it means they can charge a higher price?

I played the first beta then and wasn't even remotely impressed. I liked BF4 till I got tired of the screwed up online. Going to very likely pass on the beta and the game itself. Cops and robbers?

I've been considering Shadowgate remake at $5. I've never played the original or those others, though.

I don't shop at GS anymore mainly because of the gutted games and that some employees rub their dicks on the games after they bring them back from a personal rental.

Next time you get a used game from GS, put a blacklight next to the game and prepare to :puke:

So Square is releasing an Action Pack on PS3 with Just Cause 2, Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider in one package.  Awesome deal (once on sale) for anyone who hasnt played two or more of them.    But only 2 of the 3 have been remade for PS4.   Wish JC2 would be re released just before or with JC3.

Nope. It helps that I just say "I want to use a coupon" and hold up the barcode on my phone for them to scan with zero mention of birthdays. Usually the employee is cool with it and just scans the coupon, but I've had one or two occasions where the employee was adamant about getting a physical coupon, so I would ask for a sheet of paper and write down the code (it's very easy to remember).

Yeah right, a fourth who also has 10 quests ready to turn in? :roll:

I'm usually up pretty late on Friday nights (until 2-3am EST), but I might not play Dying Light right away since I like to make MGS4-plat progress on the weekends, so I don't know how I'll know you're online outside of having my laptop with me and checking this thread.

The entire game section will be nothing but Skylanders/Disney Infinity/Amiibos soon enough.

If they start downsizing the PS3/360 sections then the Vita section could see a rebound. At least I hope.

Did you keep the receipt? Do they make it pretty easy to do a survey?

Or maybe let it go and be thankful you don't have to work a shitty job like that.

I bought two 16GB Vita cards around Christmas and Freedom Wars right after Christmas. I used a $5 coupon from that Kongrate crap game. Guess I am shady to. I should have only used 1 coupon. I feel horrible really I do.

That sort of situation has to be waaaay over the top for me to ever make an issue out of it. You never know if someone is having a shit day or if there's a genuine misunderstanding or they think I look like a guy that robbed them or something. It's not worth someone's job because I was very temporarily annoyed and delayed.

I used to like Killians. Then I had one about 6 months ago and couldnt finish it. It was awful. Maybe it was just bad or my taste buds changed a ton.

 
More details on the chalice dungeons, I guess there are going to be points on the map where you can enter the ruins below the city and the dungeons below will be procedurally generated and can be tackled in coop.

GameFly shipped me Gat out of Hell. I'm happy since it had low availability. My 360 has been getting some love lately. Feels good.

I think my goal for the year is to play through a bunch of unfinished/older games: Singularity, Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, Majin, The Saboteur, The Darkness 1 and 2, and Brothers in Arms.

I watched that movie Fury yesterday so it reminded me of BIA. Damn, it was brutal. They didn't shy away from heads and limbs being shot off. This guy was in ditch and they showed the tank running over his head.

Dudes, can I use my memory card for the Vita I already have with this PS TV I just bought? Can I just swap depending on which of them I feel like using at the time?
