It started out as Twilight fan fiction, and is considered one of the most poorly written popular novels in years. Plus there's BDSM and shitty people. Fun for the whole family!

50 Shades of Grey is a renamed Twilight fanfic. Literally. Some bad fanfiction writer (using the penname Snowqueens Icedragon) wrote an alternate universe for Twilight where Edward was an abusive rich guy and Bella was some stupid(er) girl. The author eventually renamed the story from "Master of the Universe" and the characters to separate it from Twilight and then made bank on it even though it's poorly written trash that misrepresents abuse as erotica.

I'm sure the movie is going to dive really hard, by the way. The actors hate each other, both regretted taking the roles, and the director and author were fighting constantly. It's too bad the movie made more than its budget in the first weekend. It would have been better if it bombed so hard they didn't make more.

I had an orko toy that for some reason I put in a full glass of water that I then proceeded to put in the freezer. I was devastated when I tried to remove his frozen carcass from the glass the next day and both of his ears broke off.

I had that snake bad buy dude that you could fill with water and push his head down to shoot a mist of water out. For some reason I decided to fill it with sand on the way home, then got sad that it wouldn't squirt water anymore.

My babysitter's litlte brother, who was a couple years older than me, I guess he outgrew his MOTU toys and gave me his giant collection full of shit like the castle and close to every figure that was released. I also ended up giving them away once I outgrew them. I wish I still had them.

I can't start looking at shit like that on ebay because it's too easy to just click "Buy It Now!". I learned my lesson on that last year when I ended up with huge amounts of TMNT toys and the Hasbro WWF figures from the late 80s-early 90s. Now every time I see them in storage, I'm like "Man, that was stupid."

I think I'm all the way over kickstarters. I'd rather there be fewer video games in the universe than back these things anymore.

How many games have actually materialized from a ks? I know the skullgirls dlc and I think octodad classic had some origins in the ks world. Mighty No 9 and Soul Saga are showing progress at least.

What were some of the big name ones? Amplitude? Broken Age?

Broken Age is a bad example because it's a DoubleFine production and they mismanage their projects as a tradition.

Most of the big kickstarters I'm aware of were PC-only. Wasteland 2, Shadowrun Returns, Divinity: Original Sin, and Pillars of Eternity are all huge kickstarter projects, though. PoE isn't out yet but the others have all been released to great success and fantastic reception.

I just got the quadrillions shot goal, but still need the double jackpot and reflex goals. Not really doing very well at this game yet. I find it kind of hard to play on Vita for some reason. Probably will play on PS3 until I get the wizard goals done.

Looking through the massive as balls list of ks games on wikipedia and I'm surprised how many I've heard of. At least three currently released ps4 games came from kickstarters.

Banner Saga was Kickstarter and that looks cool.

Mercenary Kings was also, and I think people here liked that.

Race the Sun was one peeps liked.

Saturday Monring RPG was cool on iPhone and should definitly be on Vita.

That sweet sweet looking Two Brothers game (that I always confused with the Brothers we got on Plus) is on it's way to Vita and looks sweet sweet.

Pinball arcade kickstarters I backed. It's dumb because if you cash them in you can't take advantage of the season passes. It won't let you buy them if you already have one or more of the tables in the season. So, thank me profusely, please.
