Ya, it's games you've always meant to go back to and finish and/or 100%. Pick 4 to shoot to finish and then anything above 4 are bonus games.

Cleaner said you don't have to limit yourself to games you started but didn't finish or 100%; you could approach this month like 4ForFeb, so long as you work on your backlog.

Does it have to be locked down so that only people who are approved can read it? I wonder how many people were confused between is it 100% or just beat and clicked on the link and couldn't get in and said screw it and moved on? I am down for beating 4 games again. Not going to 100% 4 games any time soon though.

I just think those who aren't participating might want to see the progress. But if that is how it has to be for security I understand.

Cleaner set that one up. I have the boosting sheet set so that anyone can read it, but only those who sign up can edit. I think that would make more sense here too, but I am not going to change things without talking to her.

 
Has anybody tried trading in a Dualshock 4 to amazon with a sticky bumper? I've got two like that and one is really bad. I'd happily trade both in and get a single new one, but I'm worried they are going to reject them. If they rate them good I'd get $68.66 for the pair or $60.58 for acceptable. Also I don't have the packaging, but one came with the system so it didn't have any. I guess that might mean acceptable right there. If they don't reject them outright for the sticky bumpers buttons.

On a related note, if I say "do not return" and they reject them outright, will they still not return them? That would suck.

This brings up a good question. How on their website can you add an add-on package after the fact? I don't see the option anywhere. You can change billing info, but not change your subscription. Not that I'd get a movies package on this service given how I see middling streaming quality from them, but I wouldn't mind trying the sports extra package to see if anything on there is of value.

A lot of the time I'll answer as if I'm taking a work call. Then when they ask for me, I'll say oh I think you have the wrong number, this is for a business. I do pick up a lot of telemarketing calls because my phone is always ringing and I don't always check the ID. I hardly ever get them to back down when I say it's a business though. They always want to talk to the owner or someone in charge.

It probably wouldve worked on that IRS dude though.

Is that what it says on the download list or are you just reading whats on the store web page? The PS3 and vita version both say 6.7 but the PS4 version just says 2.8 on the web store so perhaps 6.7 is the download size of all 3 games added together since it's crossbuy.

I know I should remember this but is it possible to check what PS3 game saves you have in the cloud either from your Vita or a web page?

I want to see if I have a game save for a PS3 game.

It's definitely not that big. I think it was 1.7gb when I downloaded it last night.

Was just about to post this. I've found the store listing always lumps together the size of all 3 titles combined when there is crossbuy.

I swear I've been over this with you specifically, but maybe not. But on crossbuy games they like to combine the size of all versions for whatever stupid reason. If you ever see a ridiculously large game for the Vita, check the Vita store first. I'm pretty sure their goal is to not have any games over 4GBs.

Am I gonna have to put this in the OP? I swear I've answered it a dozen times lol

This is why we need to set up a video game website. A lot of us like writing about games anyway and staying on top of gaming news, we could just start writing reviews and streaming games on Twitch and then just reach out to indie devs for some games. Nobody would get paid but we'd get free games. That is what Zimm does for GameGravy.

Maybe not. if they can go to all the big game publishes and say we have 2 million GCU members. We can sell more of your games then most other retailers. It will be interesting to see what happens if anything.

I dont think so. Each console has their own space. I do not think you can look at what is in there except from that particular console.

 
Aww, I'm no longer Elite at Best Buy.  My 3 year un-earned run is over I guess.

It actually kinda sucks.  It's gonna kill cheap BB game purchases that can't be shipped to store.

Then everyone would argue over the Vita codes since those would only be usable by 1 person. I am not really sure how likely we would be to get codes initially, but who knows.

Seriously though, this is something we could do. The problem is that it would not be free. I know a guy who runs another small website for a beer community. I could talk to him and get an idea on cost if there really is interest in this.

My back is really bad today. I need to go to the doctor today. So thats your third friend. And it isnt near as serious as those two.

And the even better news is that this is really a good event for me as I should be (better be!) getting more happy pills.

Actually, if you wanted to just test out the idea, you could start with something cheap and easy (ala tumblr, blogger, or wordpress) just to gauge interest and if people would actually work on it. Then move up to the paid webhosting/unique address when/if the website grows.
