Domsday for the Deceiver was an awesome album. As was Exodus' Bonded by Blood (band where Kirk Hammett came from).Flotsam and Jetsam was great. I actually got the tape free from a indie radio station for requesting a song.
I met him at Ozzfest 2003 when he was playing bass for Ozzy and also performing with Voivod. He was seriously one of the nicest dudes I've ever met.To be fair, Newsted is a giant tool. I used to be indifferent on him, but then I saw him as a judge on that reality show where him, Tommy Lee, and Gilby Clarke were judges looking for a lead singer for their new supergroup. He was weird pretentious dick on there and soured my opinion of him.
Curious how well that will work. The PC version doesn't have controller support at all and it's not the type of game that seems like an easy fit for.Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition Coming to PS4

Another game announcement that a) doesn't include a trailer and b) is not coming to Vita.
I believe that Jason Bittner, drummer for Shadows Fall, is their new drummer. What I heard, anyways.Flotsam and Jetsam was great. I actually got the tape free from a indie radio station for requesting a song.
I'd put Lars #1 on that list. Let's not forget his admission that he blasts his own music while driving. Not disagreeing with you but Lars and Hetfield are huge tools as well. Lars and his involvement and stupid statements about Napster and downloading songs illegally was ridiculous.
I don't own an "old", and even if I did I don't know what your problem would be with it.your old.

Notch comes across as a super nice guy and he is, of course, super rich.Maybe I am doing it wrong, but I always assumed every rich and famous person is a big douche.
Pitfall just sent me a PM and told me he's going to buy me the Metallica pinball table.Maybe I am doing it wrong, but I always assumed every rich and famous person is a big douche.
Suck it Chewy.Pitfall just sent me a PM and told me he's going to buy me the Metallica pinball table.
The forecast for my area says 6-10 inches with a winter storm warning from 10pm tonight to 7pm tomorrow night.Vig, where thedo you work that they close for a couple inches of snow?
What year was your VW?I use to have a Volkswagen GTi VR6. Probably the worst car I ever owned. Oh, it was fun early on, but then the problems started. The only good thing I can say for it is that kids love VWs and they'll pay a pretty penny regardless of condition, so I got a surprisingly good tradein value for it.
Here the NWS says 5 to 9", but another forecast says 4 to 6". 6" of snow would be a nice number. The forecast for my area says 6-10 inches with a winter storm warning from 10pm tonight to 7pm tomorrow night.
Don't remember. That was several cars back. I bought it because I'd heard that VWs were better than they use to be. That's what people say about current VWs too. I don't trust 'em.What year was your VW?
C'mon now. I did that too with my band's four song mini recording. And you would too.I'd put Lars #1 on that list. Let's not forget his admission that he blasts his own music while driving.
Yeah I think most people that play in bands listen to their own music sometimes when they're driving around by themselves, at least until they get sick of it. Why would you make music you don't like listening to?C'mon now. I did that too with my band's four song mini recording. And you would too.
If they make it easily available I will definitely pay for a month once we are a few weeks into the new GoT season.
I havent kept up with it really but I assume is the same as HBO Go that you get when you have HBO through cable.$15 a month for one channel is pretty steep. I'm sure if I watched more TV it wouldn't seem so bad, though. But I'll probably try it for a month. They let you watch the old episodes, right? I've never seen any of Game of Thrones, for example.
I guess if you get movies too that would make it more worth it.I havent kept up with it really but I assume is the same as HBO Go that you get when you have HBO through cable.
Yea, every episode of every show they have made along with on demand movies which change based on what they are showing on the actual channels.
HBO Go is the shit. This 15/month is about what it costs to get on the channel on comcast I think. Not sure as I have had HBO for whatever reason for like 3 years without paying for it.
If I could easily stream it on my Chromecast, Roku 3, PS3 and/or PS4 and subscribe a month at a time I would be interested. Great way to catch up on some series I have missed and maybe a few movies and then unsubscribe for 6 months or whatever till the next series I want to check out is available. Not interested in a 1 or 2 year commitment though.HBO Go is the shit. This 15/month is about what it costs to get on the channel on comcast I think. Not sure as I have had HBO for whatever reason for like 3 years without paying for it.
$20 a month on comcastI havent kept up with it really but I assume is the same as HBO Go that you get when you have HBO through cable.

The IRS could easily get a number that you only use for work. It's good you didn't fall for the scam, but the argument that they couldn't get your home phone isn't one anyone should rely on.So yesterday I had a fun interaction. Novel ahead.
My house phone kept ringing off the hook, which is weird because I wasn't working and that phone is 100% a work phone. So finally, I glance at the caller ID, and it says "US Internal Revenue Service - 1800-829-1040." I quickly look up the number and find out it is the actual number for the IRS. Oh shit, I better answer it next time. So I do.
Some guy gets on and gives me his name, tells me he's an IRS agent, and then gives me his badge number. Then he asks me if I'm familiar with the lawsuit that's being filed against me by the IRS...which of course, I'm not. Now, naturally my brain goes into immediate oh shit mode, but I stay calm and tell him I have no clue what he's talking about. He asks if I would like more information, so I say yes. He puts me on hold to get my file.
Now, looking back on it, there should have been red flags everywhere, but since I knew the number was legit, and the guy mentioned lawsuit, I'm not thinking rationally, and instead trying to go back and figure out what the hell I've done wrong. The dude comes back after like two minutes, says "Hello sir, are you still there?" I say yes, but then the line disconnects.
My first thing was to call the number back and see if I could get someone else to tell me what was going on. I called the number, and the only services they provide on Tuesdays are tax filing return inquiries, and it said I should call back Wednesday if I needed to speak to them about other things. Cool. Meanwhile, I've been texting my wife telling her what's going on, and she asks a question that I should've thought of...how did the IRS get my home phone number? I use it for work only, and on everything I've ever filled out for any state, local, or federal agency, I've put my cell phone.
So I start to do some digging, just typing "IRS lawsuit" into Google gave me all the information I needed. Apparently it's all a big scam. These people call and say they have a lawsuit, that you face huge fines, that you'll be arrested, blah blah blah, unless you give your bank account information or a credit card to them so they can pay off the debt you owe. Fortunately for myself, I'm smart enough to never let it get that far. If they were demanding money from me, I would have told them I'd see them in court before giving out my info over the phone.
But when you read these articles, there are stories about people who actually fall for it. I thought it would be all old people who might be easily suckered, but it's not. There are younger people falling for this shit, all the time. I guess the going rate is $5000 to "settle your debt." It just makes zero sense to me that people are dumb enough to give away this information over the phone and then cry about it when something bad happens.
Oh, and the reason it came up as a legit IRS number is because if you use certain VOIP services like Magic Jack, you can apparently manipulate the caller ID number and name you're calling from.
Cool, just let me knowIf my Fry's still has one tomorrow, I'll get one for you.
I am, and will be grabbing it.Speaking of music, is anyone else really excited for a new Modest Mouse album this month??
Tape? I might could get em for you. I still have a tape deck setup for PC import in my basement I think if it didn't go to the thrift store last time around.I wish I had a good way of getting my band's shitty recordings easily online so you could all make fun of me for them.
Didnt Jkam do this and we all laughed at him? He may know how to do it so we can mock you too!I wish I had a good way of getting my band's shitty recordings easily online so you could all make fun of me for them.

From http://www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Scams-Consumer-AlertsThe IRS could easily get a number that you only use for work. It's good you didn't fall for the scam, but the argument that they couldn't get your home phone isn't one anyone should rely on.
How about youtube? You can have a still image or something while the music plays. No idea how to get that to work but see it all the time on Youtube.comI have MP3s of them, just don't have a good place to upload or whatever for easy public consumption. Don't think I can use Soundcloud since I don't want to run like a band page or whatever.
You're right, the IRS isn't going to call and demand payment/credit card info/whatever. That should be the tip-off that it's some scam group trying to bilk money off of you, especially if you haven't received any prior notification of any outstanding debts. From http://www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Scams-Consumer-Alerts
Note that the IRS will never: 1) call to demand immediate payment, nor will the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill; 2) demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe; 3) require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card; 4) ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone; or 5) threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.
Basically they will mail you a bill or letter BEFORE calling you and you have the right to appeal and will not threaten to have you arrested.
I can't see them going to far out of their way to find an unlisted number when putting it writing is the best way to handle someone who is behind on taxes.
Why don't you just put them on dropbox or something like that and give us a link? You can't deny us our chance to mock!I have MP3s of them, just don't have a good place to upload or whatever for easy public consumption. Don't think I can use Soundcloud since I don't want to run like a band page or whatever.
What does autism have to do with any of this? You're right, the IRS isn't going to call and demand payment/credit card info/whatever. That should be the tip-off that it's some scam group trying to bilk money off of you, especially if you haven't received any prior notification of any outstanding debts.
I was pointing out that the IRS can and would get a number you only use for work.
/autism
That might work. I'll try to figure something out tonight when I get home. Why don't you just put them on dropbox or something like that and give us a link? You can't deny us our chance to mock!
I think this is better. Why don't you just put them on dropbox or something like that and give us a link? You can't deny us our chance to mock!
Yeah just put em on YouTube hidden (so you can share the link) or google docs/drive or something.I have MP3s of them, just don't have a good place to upload or whatever for easy public consumption. Don't think I can use Soundcloud since I don't want to run like a band page or whatever.
That might be better, but you missed the part where he said he didn't want to use soundcloud for lack of wanting to make a band page.
Missed that, didnt know you couldnt just upload crap. That might be better, but you missed the part where he said he didn't want to use soundcloud for lack of wanting to make a band page.
