That's super lame. They should have just waited and released it with all three. Greedy, impatient bastards. Glad I didn't buy it on sale last week.
 
Vig, the olliolli2 plat is really impressive.  I thought the Pix the Cat 100% was impressive enough but this one is crazy.  I dont know if I will even be able to complete all the amateur levels let alone the challenges on each level. 

Thank goodness I have a lot of common games like Alien Breed to play.

My type-0 ce is delayed until next week, don't understand that, and super bummed. I would try to check the local best buy in the morning, but I have to be at the doctor right when they open. I don't understand why it's so hard to get ces preordered in store at best buy. Only thing I hate about my switch from gamestop.

That's weird--sorry to hear about that. My CE is set to be delivered tomorrow.

 
so as I mentioned before going to bed, I did end up getting the AC Rogue plat.  Final game time was just under 35 hours.  I wasnt gonna go for it at first but it seems like after you the beat the story you start rolling in the upgrade materials so it really didnt take much time to max everything out.  Also found a super helpful Youtube video for the Templar relics.  All in all it was a fun game but definitely not as good as Black Flag.  Now to decide if I wanna trade it in to GS today or see if I end up near a BB later in the week with the 30% bonus...

I do not think it is lame. I think it is awesome. I hate DLC. I can't rent it and it seems to never want to go on sale.

The game was quite large already for a Lego game. Would it have been nice to have all 3 movies covered in the one game, sure. Does that make the game they put out worse? No, not IMO anyway.

You know you have to be subscribed with email notification to win anyway. So there should be no reason for forgetting it unless you are using a black hole email address.

ETA: Well.. their email notification system can be a little wonky on second thought, so I could see you possibly missing the first drawing if he does it early on.

The only reason I think it's lame is that WB Games announced there would be DLC for the third movie when they released the game to justify why they were releasing it so early, so now they look lazy and/or money-grubbing.

I really didn't care for AC3 and I wanted to like it. The ship missions really sucked and everyone told me it was mainly the ship missions all over again.

The missions in AC Rogue that were in the boat were not as annoyingly stupid and cheap as AC3 (with the exception of that 4th major battle you could cheat to win) so I liked them. As someone who played both, how do they compare and why do you like Black Flag better?

Are you talking about something other than following on Twitch? I mean I get notifications of when east is streaming, but are you talking about something else with regard to the giveaways? If so, do tell.

If you have it setup so you get emails when he starts streaming you are good to go. You can follow but have the email notification part turned off apparently. I am not sure how to even accomplish that since everyone I follow always seems to send emails by default, but apparently it is an option somewhere.

That just seems like too much work and that thread seems to be packed with many of the worst of CAG. I am very picky with who I want to be in a business relationship with. While that may be a loose definition of a gamesharing agreement, it is how I see it.

Add in that it becomes an issue for me getting the main game back from Gamefly and I am generally happier just ignoring DLC.

Full disclosure: I just bought the Lego Batman 3 DLC when it was on sale for both PS3 and PS4.

Chase sequences in Lego games are the WORST. At least on the more recent games they seem to have the levels broken down in parts where you can jump in right at the start of the chase scene. When they would be at the end of the level and you would have to have perfect timed jumps for collectibles it added a lot of unnecessary frustration.

 
Usually my forgetting is because I'm in the middle of a game. I pretty much only check my email on my phone as well, and that only happens at work.

Not sure about Android, but the iOS Twitch app sends you notifications when the people you follow start to stream. I don't mean email, I mean an iOS notification.

I have not seen an android twitch app notification. I get the emails and thats it. The Twitch app on android is kind of sucky. The chat window doesnt always load after a couple attempts.

Got an email from play Asia. Release date updated for monster monpiece "sequel". April 10th, probably going to get it. Seems like a good price compared to other imports. Will take the place of operation abyss since it's pushed back.
