I didnt watch the trailer since I cant see video links on my laptop and dont want to check my phone.  But I think we can all agree that Adam Sandler needs to just go away now.  His time has passed.  He is rich so he doesnt need the money.   I hate seeing someone I thought was really funny at one point make a mockery of his career.  Especially since he is supposedly a really nice and down to earth guy. 

He was at the tennis resort my wife used to work at one time and she said he and his father were so nice.  They stayed around the pool area for hours just talking to people and signing autographs for all the kids.

The fact that that's a 5-year-old video and the effects look on par (if not better) than the ones in the movie trailer is pretty funny. I guess the budget went to hiring *coughbadcough* actors.

Yeah most people wont know the diff on anything less than 50 or 60 inches anyway. But its like anything, some people can see the difference so it may be worth it to them. But its also only $500, which isnt much more than a regular 1080p at that size so someone may want the best tech for a little more money.

 
Yeah thats right, send me a meeting invite at the same time as another meeting already on my calendar.  Not like you cant see my calendar ahead of time and see that I am already booked.  And it isnt like I have a couple hours of open time the rest of the day either..

I asked my library to get Far Cry 4, which it doesn't have for some reason despite carrying FC3, and they responded by saying they only buy M-rated games "that also receive stellar reviews". Yeah, I guess that would explain why they currently carry Evolve, MGS V: Ground Zeroes, and Sniper Elite III.

I take it that the LG TV deal didn't make a comeback on Cartwheel? If not, I guess I'll go buy some Coke. 50% off is pretty good, but I have a feeling that when I get to Target they will be sold out. Like that bullshit boots deal that Zimm had me chasing in the past!

 
The dumb thing about the Target Cartwheel voting thing is you can easily vote over and over, so somebody who really wants 50% of Coke can tip the scales by just voting, click the back button, voting again, repeat until your arm falls off. Seems like they could do this better. Then again this might be why the LG deal is back on top.

 
My trophy list on truetrophies just updated slightly for me. Now it shows Helldivers trophies I completed I think a week ago at the top. So weird. Flame Over and Jamestown+ nowhere to be found, but if I search for those games it shows that I completed trophies.

I had no problem getting boots. Just shop earlier. People be shopping crazy early for their deals.

Also rumor has it that all four offers will eventually go live a few days after voting ends anyway. So yay democracy?
 
I was off yesterday getting drunk, what did I miss? Stupid AC sale...Still $10 for all the older games...WTF? Since I played IV and fnished it, it's now official, I'm not going back. fuck that shit.

True :) I actually bought the level add-on awhile back though and forgot. I had heard the stand-alone version was a little buggy or something...$4.50 sounds great though. I normally don't do DLC but I'm also waiting for a nice sale on the Season Pass to Mordor because that game is fuck ing badass!

Well when we sent the email about the voting out to the masses last week, it crashed our site from all the voting at once, so it was a successful marketing gimmick. But yeah having all the offers go live later is kinda dum and defeats the porpoise.

People are kinda freaking out that the LG TV deal made up 23,000+ votes overnight.  We were already for the Coke stuff to go live.  Worried about the consequences of some person automating the voting.  It's kinda funny watching the scrambling.

Tennis in the Face is pretty good. Amazon had it as a DOTD on their appstore in 2013 and it was fun. $5 isn't a bad price for 3 trophy lists.

Since each vote has its own link - LG ends in /8, coke in /7, etc, could someone just refresh that page to get another vote to count?

 
Really wish they'd make those ps2 classics playable on the vita. I'd be much more likely to pick them up then. (Probably still wouldnt get around to playing them)

* Saints Row 3 - another game that uses the "everything you had is gone and now you have to build yourself back up" story beginning.

(I'm sure there's an official trope name for this)

* AC IV - any dlc I should pick up if I have the physical disc up on my shelf from some best buy sale a year ago that I haven't got around to playing yet?

 
I am guessing it is not a coincidence that these week's ad at Publix has Powerade and Coke bottles like in the voting for cartwheel on a rather substantial sale.
