the end boss, the one where you ring a bell to wake it up and get a trophy for killing, the witch in the woods turns into one to fight. Maybe more, I don't remember.
Yeah, the single dragon in the entire game isn't even a dragon but a demon that looks like a dragon.

Does it ever get difficult? First hour or so of Transistor I played was way too easy...
Transistor and Bastion will get difficult if you enable the handicaps that get unlocked as you progress. They help get you some bonus experience but they're skippable other than Transistor's trophies that have you use them for a couple of fights.

I still tend to leave as many of them on as I can manage, mostly just skip the shielded enemies one from Transistor since that one is just annoying.

Dear Grace Chen,

So this Killing Floor 2 game looks ridiculously awesome. Why the hell did the original and now it looks like the sequel only come out on PC?
I managed to sink a ton of hours into the first one. It started off as a mod (as did their other series, Red Orchestra) so I think it was just a matter of them never having the resources to bring it to a console.

Lots of fun, but it can be a bit grindy to level up a class so that you can bring it to a higher difficulty level (doesn't matter how good you are, a low level class will never have the added damage or gun discounts needed to effectively play the higher difficulties. You'll just hold the team back).

Looks like they're working on streamlining some of it which I hope means they'll remove a bit of the grindy elements (like one class has to kill an absurd number of a certain enemy, and another class has to weld doors for hours just to level up).

They're also pretty good about the content they add. For Halloween, Christmas, and summer they'll do free events that change the character models and add a new map and Steam achievements. Unlock enough achievements and you'll usually unlock a new character to play as. For years most of the DLC was just cosmetic stuff like new character models, although they did eventually start adding some weapons. They never seemed greedy about the DLC, it always seemed like it was more about throwing them some money as thanks for them continuing their support. Hopefully that philosophy carries over to the console versions.

I played with that shielded one on for half the game before I realized what was going on. Major pain in the ass lol.
