I vaguely remember rise of the robots but I don't remember much other than it looking cool.
That game had awesome music.

It's not Crunchewy 300million, but I went back to south park pinball on ps3 to get the trophies again and got a rockin 72 million in the last hour. woot. 2nd place or so for weekly. Zimm and Bums did awesome too.

Platinum #5! The order was fun, the ending left it open for a sequel, hope the mediocre reviews don't stop them from making another one. All the quick time events were annoying, but I still really enjoyed the game. I don't think I would have been mad even if I had paid $60 and traded it in for $40 or w/e at launch. At a ~$1 rental less than 2 months after release I'm definitely not going to complain.

...fuck. If I didn't have lab in the morning I would watch an episode of daredevil.....and then another....and another....and another....

I don't think the Dark Souls 2 first play stream was anything special (most of the blame must fall on Tyler). But I am really digging the game. it's frustrating sometimes but not non-stop like some people have painted it to be. I think it's probably better to play on your own so that you can look up guides and help without worrying about the Twitch audience.

Unless you're so dumb that you can't see patterns and learn from your mistakes it shouldn't be endless frustration. There's moments of frustration sure, but I've never felt like the games were unfair or I had something crappy happen to me that I couldn't have avoided.

Yeah, I was a long time subscriber back in the Xbox/PS2 days and the service went downhill when it blew up during the early 360 days. Gone back for bits here and there since then and various trials and it's never an impressive experience. Just reinforces that I won't be paying them beyond the $1.

I offered and she ignored me.

Couldn't get much worse.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hears something about Florida or sees someone on Cops from Florida and naturally assumes it's Pharm.

Just send him the $200 you would have spent on the game and a compatible stick and call it a day.

They did last year with Seattle's combined no hitter I believe.

They weren't resigning Price at the money he was going to get so they did the right thing and got assets back for him. Smyly isn't going to be Price most likely but could certainly be a dependable starter at a much lower cost. Even if he doesn't pan out as a starter he's already proven he can be an inning eating rock in a bullpen.
I agree it was the right move to receive something for Price. Smyly has already shown he can be effective in Detroit, and seemed to step it up a notch after arriving in Tampa.

Yeah, he was the lone bright spot in our bullpen two years ago. Had a bumpy transition back to starter before the trade but definitely stepped it up. Glad the Tigers did the sensible thing and signed Price short term instead of giving Scherzer crazy money until he was almost 40.

The Dissidia Final Fantasy in development for arcades in Japan (with a PS4 version not yet announced but likely) suddenly became much more important because Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics is going to be playable: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/04/10/final-fantasy-tactics-ramza-playable-dissidia-final-fantasy/

Insert typical "you just don't get Souls games" comment here.

10% off all electronics and games w/ Cartwheel today and tomorrow only: https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/344434-target-10-off-all-electronics-and-games-w-cartwheel-410-and-411/

Why can't these last until Sunday? That's the only day I can get to Target most weekends.

#zimmsfault
But you don't have any credit there, so why does it matter?

Or maybe you do I don't know.

Anyway, 20% GCU > 10% Cartwheel + 5% RedCard.

Unless you were looking more at the electronics part of the deal. Then I still don't know.

I don't know.

Had an epic run on dragon's crown this morning, and got cheated out of the no damage trophy. Unless I have it unlocked already.

Looked up the real player bones thing. You get a chance to find that player's bones after you've played online with them. Seems like the better way to go since they usually have decent gear/spells. I dont know how long it lasts though. I found one guy's bones from last night, but not the other 2 player's. Going to be super helpful for working on my other characters since everything you have is shared. As long as you make them on the same file.

So an email from DC Entertainment had an image in it talking about expansion packs in Lego Dimensions. So I looked some more up about it and found this. That BttF one looks titsapoppin with the Delorian and Hoverboard, but goddamn this is gonna get expensive getting all of these.

And here's more info on the various packs and how much they're gonna cost:

http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-dimensions-expansions-packs-announced/

The Starter Packs are $99.99 while the Fun Packs are $14.99 each. The Team Pack go for $24.99 each and the Level Packs are $29.99 each. - See more at: http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-dimensions-expansions-packs-announced/#sthash.06rxexi2.dpuf

I don't have Target credit, but an additional discount on clearance games is hard to beat if the games are good. Then again, I haven't found anything worthwhile there in nearly a year, so you're probably right and it doesn't really matter.

Played some tower of guns last night. Not a fan. Don't like how the enemies are mainly turrets. I like the look of it though. Reminds me of the n64 days.

That pricing is what I was afraid of. I was actually interested in getting into this one, but I'm not going to spend that kind of money. They really need to make the base games free, and just charge for whatever packs you want. Would make it sting a little less.

My wallet is already crying for mercy. This game will likely finally make me wish I had gotten in on the Sim card deal for GCU.

Yeah totally agree. I think their reasoning behind the pricing is that you also get LEGO toys you can play with separately outside of the game. From the images at the link, it seems like all the figures and vehicles can come off of their bases and that the data for the set is stored in the base itself. So that part makes sense, but that still doesn't mean $30 for a DLC level isn't gonna sting. I mean that's how much just the regular Delorian set is by itself. And the one you get here is obviously way smaller.

If gcu works on these things then it seems like even the standard $30 price would pay for itself pretty quick at those prices.
Yeah that's true. Forgot to look at the GCU discount. I'm guessing Infinity figures and Skylanders all work on GCU, so I would assume these would too. That definitely helps the sting.

After a while their spells get used up and their gear wears down & breaks.

Man, if you can be lucky enough to host a TV show that runs forever and makes you millions a year to turn letters and say dumb shit to dumb contestants you would be thanking god every day too!

Pat makes $12 Mil a year

Vanna White gets $8 Mil a year
Not only that, but they shoot a week (or more) worth of episodes in a day. They probably bang out a couple months of content in a week!

Since best buy is going to have all these sets, it would be my dream if they started selling regular lego sets too. All those my best buy points I have would disappear so quickly.

Yeah I know, and Vanna doesnt even have to turn the letters either. Or speak. All her outfits are new every day and paid for by the show or designer if they give them to her. Must be a womans dream. How great a job is that?

Guys I know you have all been on the edge of your seats waiting...but the the wait is over...I finished Portal 2, the single player not 100%. I can move on to something new finally...not sure what though...maybe South Park or GOW: Ascension...or Alan Wake (need to finish up 360 crap so I can get rid of that damn thing).

Glad it's Friday! Daredevil later...can't wait.

I'm hoping for a 3 hour rain delay for the Orioles home opener today. It's one of the handful of games on OTA TV this season. Start time is 3:05 I think. 6:05 actual start would be perfect.
