Got it, always do the opposite of whatever pancakes says.

Although I finished all the medals in the first course and I still need to shave off 39 seconds for the 40m trophy which feels impossible.

The Chalice Dungeons are no joke. Thanks again Caniac for helping me kill the Abhornent Beast and the defiled dungeon. Those 1 shots are insane. Just need to defeat the queen and I'll have platinum.
 
The 1.04 patch for Bloodborne has been detailed:

  • Password matching can now be done regardless of level.
  • Password matching can now be done even if registered to a different oath.
  • Quicksilver bullets and blood vials can now be stored up to 600 (the previous limit was 99) in the storage in Hunter’s Dream.
  • Weapons and hunter tools have been tweaked, it will be mostly buffs.
  • A bug of the Rifle Spear has been fixed.
  • A bug with Blood Gem Imprints has been fixed.
  • Boss rewards in the Chalice Dungeons will be improved, they will now drop blood gems randomly.
  • Chalice dungeons will now include Blood Stone Shards at Depth 1, Twin Blood Stone Shards at Depth 2, Twin Blood Stone Shards and Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 3, Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 4 and Blood Stone Chunks and Blood Rocks at Depth 5.
  • Other bugs have been fixed.

Wow, that's eerie. Dude that just drove in the game winning run is the same guy that I saw drill a grand slam last week after the UFC fights. Apparently Jace Peterson is my new favorite player! Based on the 2 at bats I've seen him have this year, he appears to be the best baseball player of all time.

I knew you'd like hearing that being part of the update. Lose the rifle spear but win with chunks and rocks. I'm going to have to get the queen defeated before the update. We all knew the rifle spear fun wouldn't last forever.

You're damn right! Hopefully the drop rates are improved a bit as well. Or at least its made that any chalice enemy can drop them rather than select few.

You don't need the rifle spear for the queen. She's one of the easier bosses and even easier with two people bouncing aggro and alternating backstab viscerals. Really the only thing it softens the blow from is defiled, but seeing as how you generally can't even create one until you've already passed it its kind of a lost cause. Its definitely a nifty toy for farming depth 5 bosses for gems after unlocking everything though.

Edit: This also means I can finally start leveling again without worry of staying in co-op range of my buddies.

every inch of my thumbs are aching. I need to start playing motorstorm rc on ps3. but only like 6 medals left and then hunting for places to shave off 2+ minutes!
