So I completely ignored this Magicka game cause I thought it was some nerd card game or something.  I guess I never even bothered to look at screen shots.  Is it like a Diablo clone or something?

In hushed voice:  "Im not a vampire, Im a manpire"??  Where the fuck has this guy been all my life.

What I played of the demo was fun. Not sure what they'd do with a single player campaign, or how it'd be worth it compared to the multiplayer. I'm typically not too huge on competitive multiplayer, but I'll be picking up Splatoon. It might Maybe because I'm playing as a squid-child with a paintball gun, but the game managed to feel even more laid back than Garden Warfare.

Its literally Helldivers with Wizards and Magic rather than Soldiers and Guns. You have 8 elements that you mix together on the fly to cast tons of spells. Friendly fire as well.

 
So there are differences between the Scholar of the First Sin editions of Dark Souls 2.

The PS3 version is just like an ultimate edition. It has the main game, the scholar of the first sin patch that adds a new NPC, dialogue, events, and more robust item descriptions (which was a free patch for the vanilla version) as well as the 3 DLC packs. It works with vanilla version saves and has the same trophy list requirements. It's just like if someone bought Dark Souls 2 vanilla and the 3 DLC pack so if you owned the PS3 version, you could buy the Scholar of the First Sin edition on sale and sell the disc for basically the same price as buying just the DLC 3 pack, $25.59 vs. $24.99.

The PS4 version has all of those above features, but is like a master quest version of Dark Souls 2 with new item, enemy, and boss placements. It also looks prettier and has a faster frame rate. It is $38.39

i played with tehcro last fall and he walked me through 4/5th of the courses while i tried to comprehend what was happening. towards the end i told him i needed to chill and take a break and then i fell into akuma 1-hit kill mode and got the evil within plat, a few days later and we havnt been able to get portal 2 co op to ever work again. crazy

i mostly just need professor portal and friends list with benefits because worst case scenario i can try to get my girl to finish the 5th course, but without death would be tough. hit me up whenev

I just listened to a little of the IGN Nintendo podcast and they said it feels a bit like Mario Galaxy without the jumping...trying to get from point A to point B. Seems odd but that peaked my interest. I guess I'll just wait and see....no rush anyway.

 
Cool, so when Magicka is on sale and if others still want to play it I will be down then.  Still giggling over the VO in the trailer.  Im a manpire!

 
Finally got around to spending my Microsoft money that's expiring in a week.  Well, the last of it minus 74 cents.  fucking Microsoft.  I bought a bunch of Pinball Arcade stuff, because pinball.

I have Magicka on Steam.  I tried getting into it but the first time I played it during the tutorial level end boss, I stepped on a mine or something I planted, it shot me backwards and glitched my character over or through the locked door and I couldn't unlock it to get back in to beat him.  I did one of these  :whistle2:?  and haven't played it since.

I think those are like Rygar that was released a while ago right? If so, yes they have trophies and they are probably crazy easy ones like entering a menu or pressing pause.

I would love to play all these old games but $1 flash sale or bust. Seriously pull a SEGA and put all the old games on sale for a $1!

I see they published the store blog so I guess those prices are final on the sales but how does it make sense to have Gat Out of Hell for the PS4 at 15.99, SR Re-elected at 23.99 and the bundle of both for 15.49?

I dont know, but hopefully that bundle price means someone will want to get both and play them both all the way through with me in co-op.

 
SR4 season pass is just the Dominatrix and Christmas packs, plus one weapon right? Think I may get get it cheap now for whenever I finally get to the game.
 
Gotta love the games on the store that dont have screen shots or videos.  Why bother putting your game up without some pics?  You just scream:  DONT BUY ME, I AM AWFUL!.

Not sure if the store's properly updated.  For instance, the blog says Time & Eternity dropped to 9.99 but it's still showing 19.99.  This is another reason they need to list the goddamned sale prices on the blog.

you have to download the version but not the dlc. dlc trophies will auto pop at sync. just did it yesterday

 
no way the store is updated all the way yet. they wouldnt have the sr4 bundle on sale for less than the standalones, right? lol

plus sr2 ultimate still $24.99. simmer down boys

also im a sucker for renting a game like res rev 2 for 3 weeks, not beating it and then buying it on sale for $16.xx. im like whew now i can put that right in the backlog and not beat it yet. i am doing it wrong

Yeah, this is the biggest issue to me. It's not so I can see all the sales in one place (though that is helpful) but because the people that manage regularly forget to update prices and move things to the Sales section properly.

The weekly sales for PSN and XBL suck this week. Nintendo saved this week with the Humble Bundle. Nintendo > Sony and Microsoft confirmed.

Also, those yarn Yoshis based on DK, Mario and Link are adorable. Nintendo kills me with cuteness.
 
This girl is chatting on my phone and said we would have to be more creative than just flashing because she only has b cup tits. I don't think she fully understands the situation yet.
