Velo, it's starting to come off like you're not as offended by the fact that he talked shit about your friends as much as you are that he said you banged ugly girls. I don't know. It's late. I'm tired.

Everybody needs to calm down. It's only the internet. I don't even really like any of you anyway.

lol... no Velo, you are not fucking chill... you are anything but chill.  You seriously need to watch how you're replying to people because the supposed "nicest guy in the thread" is acting like a bit of a prick.  And I'm not saying that Stotch can't be one too, but I do know that he's never addressed me like you just did.  That was gator's point... that in the process of complaining about stotch being an asshole you were being one yourself and at this point I agree with him.

Now you probably think that was mean of me but that's what I'm thinking and that's what gets said.  If you've got a problem with someone you've gotta either let it out or let it go.  It seems obvious that you've been letting shit fester inside and now every post you make is a rant.  I think a break would probably do you good.

Now you can be pissed at me or not, whatever... but sometimes things have gotta be said.  I've always thought you were a nice guy but I think you need to relax and step back for awhile.  I'm not saying you shouldn't be pissed at stotch, but your approach leaves something to be desired.

And to those of you that are uncomfortable with all this bullshit... yeah, I know it sucks but sometimes this shit has gotta be aired out.  Doesn't do anybody any good sweeping this shit under the rug.

Watched the first episode of True Detective S1 last night; much better than Season 2 after just one episode, and I haven't even seen Alexandra Daddario naked, yet.

Season 2 just seems boring to me, except for the last few minutes of each episode. Maybe it's because there are four characters it's trying to follow, but the story seems disjointed. Also, I like McConaughey and Harrelson better than the other four.

I don't find Rachel McAdams attractive, but there's something about her demeanor that makes it seem like she would be fun in the sack. Am I alone on that opinion?

I think season 1 was better because you actually got into the characters. Season 2 so far acts like it wants you to get into the characters but tries to accomplish it with a lot of bull shit scenes. The monologue from Vaughn was about the only scene I can think of where you really got a view into one of the characters. It is likely why we all think that he is the best one on the show.

If you are basing her attractiveness on the show, I guess I could understand that. They have her looking about as rough as I have ever seen her. I find her very attractive personally and have the same impression about her in the sack.

Hey Guardian Owl what guide did you use for the collectibles for Alice Madness Returns? I know there are a few out there but curious on which worked best for you.
I much prefer reading a guide instead of starting and stopping a video so I liked this one, It has all the various collectables in one list in order they appear. it has pictures of where each one is at behind spoilers. It also has videos if you would prefer that instead.

Do note bottles are not required for any trophy, though they do unlock character profiles and concept art, so I went ahead and collected them anyway as often they were right out in the open or were tied to a peppered snout.

Not a lot of you guys are around because your all out getting drunk watching fireworks/blowing your hands off but has anyone here used Periscope yet?  Its pretty cool as people can live broadcast whatever they are doing.  The local radio show host was live broadcasting a "drunky drunk girl party" where he has the chick on his show bring in friends and her sister to get drunk and do stupid stuff.  Why would I want to take a day off from work on a day like this?

Ran through most of Bloodrayne: Betrayal this morning. Mechanics are a bit rough but not terrible. Only part of that I really don't like is the back flip thing. It's just awkward.

The game was pretty decent otherwise right up until the chapter 14. Chapter 14 has a long section with no checkpoints and a constant threat of instant-death. Getting hit off a platform knocks you into blood and you die instantly, and with the game controls it's easy to accidentally slide into instant death as well. This is especially true because your character can easily be hidden behind enemies and it becomes hard to see where youa re. Then when you get to the end it seems like an ideal place to turn into a bird so you can get to the top of another set of platforms, but hidden out of sight is something that can kill you instantly if you try that.

The final boss battle wasn't hard due to challenging patterns or anything like that, it was just super annoying because of how badly the game handles visuals; the boss health bar is positioned so you can't see your character at all when you're on the right third of the screen (necessary to reach the part of the boss you can hit) and the falling rock attack is dark red just like the boss, the stage, and the character so it's hard to see anything. Additionally the boss can only be hit at the arc of your jump which means you only get a couple hits in at a time (tedious!) and there is an attack that covers the majority of the screen randomly and can easily leave you with no safe place to position yourself.

Chapter 15 was terrible about visuals. It's dark, you can't see your character or the enemies, and the screen is shaking back and forth. The challenge wasn't in beating the bad guys but rather figuring out where the hell I was positioned. Then when I got past that part and in the last minute or so before the end of the game, the game glitched by having one of the enemies positioned out of sight. Since you have to defeat all enemies to progress and there is no "Go back to last checkpoint" option I had to exit and restart the chapter. fuck that.

The game went from being a solid B platformer to one I wasn't willing to finish.

Does anyone know when that first real Batman DLC was supposed to come out?
All the articles that mention "A Matter of Family" only describe it and don't provide any release date information.

Of course I only did a search on old news and didn't actually check today's articles: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/07/03/new-batman-arkham-knight-story-add-on-revealed

7/14 for Season Pass holders, 7/21 for everyone else.

On a related note, did you have any trouble getting the Blunt Trauma trophy? I think there are 3-4 types of Predator takedowns I haven't done yet, but I've read that the trophy might not pop right away.

Zero problem with blunt trauma popping here - I just waited until 3/4 of the way through the game, looked at the in game predator takedown list and did whatever I thought I hadn't done yet. You'll almost get it naturally unless you're super conservative during predator sections.

i missed:

  • Line Launcher Takedown
  • Grappel Boost Takedown

The brewery we went to last night was awesome!  Did a 6 beer flight and we were surprised we liked all 6 that we tried, which never happens.

Uberweizen - German Banana beer, was decently good with a very strong Banana flavor, I don't like banana's so it wasn't for me

Bramber - Experimental beer with Brown and Amber beer ingredients, loved this one!  Tasted like a stronger Fat Tire

Logger Head - American Lager beer, tasted similar to light beers but with more flavor

Sugar Rush - Wheat beer with sugar after notes, interesting till that after taste kicked in

Cobblestone porter - Strong Coffee smell, but tasted similar to a Guinness, was very weird smelling that and getting a different flavor

Can't remember the 6th one.  Ended up drinking 3 of the Brambers because it was soooo good!

Yeah, I made sure to get the more "difficult" ones out of the way, like the Vent and Ceiling Grate (from above and below) Takedowns. I have Ledge, Grappel Boost, and Environment left, though I might also have to do the Takedown from Above since I can't recall if I've always done the Perched Takedown from higher-up.

did you do the line launcher takedown as well? That was the last one I needed when I got the trophy

Nice! Flights are great, yeah. I need to find some more places around here that do them.

Looks like reddit is falling apart as some subreddits have gone private because of some beefs between mods and admins. https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comments/3bxduw/why_was_riama_along_with_a_number_of_other_large/

Also, looks like that Destiny Red Bull promotion got exploited. https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/3bxkkt/two_days_into_the_destiny_red_bull_promotion_the/
I mentioned this last night, jerk!

Anyways r/funny just went private too. That's gotta be like the 3rd biggest subreddit.

So what does going private mean to reddit?  So I know it means I cant see it but why or how does that have anything to do with management?

Well if it's private then nobody can see it unless you're invited in, so it's basically shutting down the subreddit so nobody can post or view content. They're shutting them down to drive web traffic away from reddit which will affect the admins and reddit's bottom line.

Wait, so if its private it isnt actually on reddit anymore? Or since its private it just means the advertisers will go away? Woudlnt the managers of reddit just shut down the entire thread then so they dont pay for the posts? so many questions!

It's still all on the reddit servers, just nobody can view any of it except for the mods of that subreddit. (mods = unpaid)

Yeah, the point is that big subreddits like r/funny probably serve tons of ads every day because tons of people look at it, so by shutting it down the ads aren't being served and reddit isn't making money on ads. I don't think advertisers go away, but if they ads aren't being served then advertisers don't have to pay for them.

Not sure about your last question. Reddit doesn't pay for posts. The only thing it pays for is servers to run the site. All the content is user-submitted.

Yeah I meant the data on the servers because of all the pages/posts.

Blunt Trauma, I just made a list and checked off each one as I got them. By the end of the game I only needed a vent takedown, which I ended up getting during a two face side mission.
