I enjoyed the 2nd part of the first season more, I originally lost interest and stopped playing part way through ch. 2. Though elements of the finale were really stupid as they
couldn't find a more realistic way to whittle away all the rest of the characters. I remember Ken's death being particularly silly.

I don't need the money for a ps4, I could get one. Its just the whole wants vs needs thing. I have more than enough games to play atm without the time to play them all. It's hard to also justify not using that money to take a small trip or something.

You morons do know that trophy cards don't have to be tied to the latest trophy you've earned, right? Going to his psnp page and clicking on the game doesn't show a picture with that elf girl. She's also not on the box art or any of the pictures I'd seen for the game previously. With as often as people complain about trophy card images not matching what they're playing, there was no reason to immediately associate the picture with that game. :shame:

I'm pretty sure that girl isn't from Battlefield 3, The Sims 3, Treasures of Montezuma Arena, or even Terraria.

You could have phrased the question differently, too, like "Is that trophy card image from Mind=Zero? I don't see that girl anywhere on its PSNP page".

Some of you guys need to get up and go to the club more often. Girls love a guy that can move his body. I'm a white dude but I still get down ;) and im one of the oldest dudes in this thread. my kids keep me young tho. my 15y/o and 12y/o daughters are cheerleaders and love to laugh at me when i pretend im young. they do all those handstands backbends all that and i can't do any of that.

I don't even drink alcohol but I love to make a fool of myself like anyone else. Life is too short dudes get crazy

And the whole header image on his profile matching the art style and colors of the card image.

I'm chalking this up as another "I just saw a brief snippit of something that I could have read the whole thing on but decided not to before I comment on it like I read/saw the whole thing I'm talking about" Therm special.

Look! Now I'm playing The Bridge even though it's not out yet!

Really, you can set the trophy card to show an image from any game you want even if you'd never played the game before. And yes, I looked at his recent trophies to check for other likely games before I posted. Just because Mind=0 was the most recent game played doesn't mean that's what the card was from.

 
Let's not fight about my trophy card. But you mgs2 hating fools are morons. I can only assume you played it on ps3 and it aged bad, because when it came out on ps2, it was one of my favorite games of the era. I only played the first 3, and liked them in order of release.

Crazy never struck me as the kind of person to set his trophy card image to a specific game. Other than Stotch with his Destiny image...and now you, I guess, I don't think anyone else here has done that.

Yeah I played it on PS3 so way behind the times. Visually it was probably quite impressive back in the day. I'm sure the twist was one for the ages if you didn't know it was coming.

But the storytelling and exposition are so fucking irritating. Completely kills the flow of the game.
the swordplay at the end was attrocious

but you're probably right, I would probably have a different view on it if I played it at release. But I didn't play MGS1 at release either and that game is still awesome. MGS2 definitely does not hold up the way MGS1 does.

Also I'd pitch in $$$ towards the Zimm and Crazy PS4 fund. You would have to split the $10 but I'm sure you could raise enough if you could find them for $200.

FYI, it doesn't matter what you set the card to.  If you click on their profile, the image at the top of the page is always what they last played (or what PSN Profiles thinks was last played).  I do not think even premium members can change that, but I do not think that applies to anyone in the thread anyway.  If there is any question still in your mind if it matches just click on the first game in the list to go to that games page.  If the pic matches then it is that game.  

Or... you can come up with convoluted nonsense to continue to attempt to pass yourself off as the smartest guy in the room.

We've had people pretty recently complaining about images coming out of nowhere for their profile, though. Also if he was playing a game without trophies it would change the image but not show up on his profile.

I don't really get Zimm saying the trophy card matches the art style of the background for the page. I looked at the page background before my initial post and looking at it again now I still don't see a link. The trophy card has an elf dressed completely differently from the human people on the game page. The colors are completely different as well. I'm not big on art but I'm not seeing an obvious visual connection.

Even looking at the girl in the two shots I wouldn't necessarily think they were the same, though. And that's still a degree of situation from the elf which is really the only part you see in the trophy card.

Anyway, there were plenty of reasons to think the trophy card wasn't showing his most recently-played game. And now I'm done with this.

I did some reassessing and I'm good with my PS3 for awhile, actually picked up a few more games I rented but never finished. I also feel like I can sell more stuff if I really need a PS4 that bad (Fallout 4 Holiday Bundle?).

Interesting, I didn't know that was the case. I can't recall if it showed KH2.5 for whoever was having that issue recently or if it showed the correct game. How does this work for games without trophies--same way or does it revert to the most recent trophy game?

distribute() would imply a function call named distribute in a lot of programming languages. Maybe there is a specific one like Basic that I am not terribly familiar with where it would be read that way. Being a C guy, I would not read it as that personally, but it is interesting if they did.

Looks like there are games that don't have top images set:

It's just showing the generic Sony top image for him, not Motorstorm nor whatever game his trophy card shows. I'd noticed the generic a number of times before but didn't really think about it. Wonder how common it is for games to not have a set image. And now I want to know what image kanamit's game is from, too. :wall:

Id rather be home and not on mobile to do my fantasy draft, so I'm going to set a late night draft for one of the leagues. The other one will be earlier in the evening. The first 9 participants to pm me that can make it to this will be in the first league. I'll figure the 2nd date/time after the first 10 people are set:

I remember a year or two ago when Therm pointed out my tendency to use an emoticon in practically every post. Now I barely use them while he tends to put one in each of his posts.
