Eh. I don't think there's really a perfect solution. Sure, your approach is fine and it is the easiest approach, but there's also the downside that it takes the decision out of the buyer's hands. If I were the buyer I'd rather the seller inform me so I can decide how to proceed.I think it's a little classless to mislist something and then ask the buyer if they want to proceed. Just explain your error, apologize and tell them you'll issue the refund in the next couple days. If for some reason they do want to still buy it they'll let you know.
