Assholes in the blog comments saying MegaMan Collection should remove the flicker and slowdown.

Assholes I say!  Play it like it was you smooth-expecting smoothie!

Also in honor of the Mega Man Legacy Collection releasing today, here's a fucking awesome album that is a complete metal cover of the best soundtrack of all the MM games, MM2.  Go listen and/or buy it for free.

Gator I can't remember if you like pumpkin flavored shit or not but I need to know which pumpkin beer to buy.
Glad to see you are still alive. You need to hang out with us some more again.

As far as pumpkin beers, yeah I usually hate them. Do you want one that has a lot of the pumpkin pie spice stuff going on or just pumpkin without all the spices? I can ask some others for suggestions based on a response to that.

Southern Tier Pumking is the one I hear the most about. Not even sure where it falls on the spicy or not list though.

Yeah since CAG is blocked at work it's hard to find the time anymore. Haven't really been gaming much lately either.

If you don't mind I'd like recommendations on both. I usually like a good bit of spice in pumpkin flavored stuff though.

I could probably sleep walk through MM2 at this point. if you use a boss pathway guide most the the games aren't way too bad. but dont be a pussy and use a boss pathway guide.

Yeah just look at the new in-game enemy descriptions that tell you what boss is weak against what weapon.

These guys were in Nintendo Power and are from Murfreesboro/Nashville:

They're concept albums around Megaman. Act 1 has Dr. Light outside the city, creating Mega Man as kind of a son. MM goes to the city to free it from Wily and fights Proto Man. Act 2 is the prequel and shows how Drs. Light and Wily set up a robotic empire and the clash between Light and Wily over how to use robots, which led to Light fleeing the city.

Act 2 is great. Act 1 is rough, sound-wise, but still quite good. Give them a listen.

Those MegaMan games look crazy hard. Not sure I should buy it.
I played through (and beat) all of them for the first time when the Anniversary Collection was released on PS2. My skills are middle of the road, so I'd say they're pretty doable. You're able to play the same level over and over until you beat it, then just move on to the next one. I found them to be really enjoyable and the music really is freaking great. Beating all of the bosses again in a row at the end of the game can be tough, but its not that bad since they tend to be weak to at least one of your weapons and they drop health.

To give some context, I thought MM 9 and 10 were too hard and didn't bother beating them.

Of course! Dont you? Oh I forgot that you have a fever. You dont know what your saying. Have some chicken soup and a snickers my friend. You arent yourself.
I'm sure he's still pissed off about the Capri Sun and his Vita. Not knowing what to do with 2 bricks resulted in a fever.

September Games With Gold:
Xbox One:
The Deer God (September 1-30)
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (September 16-October 15)

Xbox 360:
Battlestations Pacific (September 1-15)
Crysis 3 (September 16-30)

Eh.

C'mon man! They're not that bad. First one is kinda balls, but they get easier as you go.
I always find this funny...I probably suck at all the other past 1 since I haven't played them much but I can finish 1 no problem. I went through Powered Up on PSP...that was a nice visual upgrade and fun.

Pumpkin beer is the shiz. I drink as many different ones as I can when the season comes round. I like this one called "Jacques O Lantern" pretty well. Dogfish head has one (Punkin) that's good but seems to sell out immediately. And this brewery called Shipyard makes one that I like (I've never had anything else from them).

While we're talking about flavored beers that make Gator shudder, anyone ever had Mad Elf from Troegs? It's usually around Christmas time and I love it. Tastes great and gets you hammered as I think it's like 10%.

Damn that looks and sounds good. Its a Belgian so I am sure to like it. 11%

I do not mind flavored beers at all. I just do not like Pumpkin beers. Mad Elf is just OK to me. One of my friends love it and has a stash of it going back many years. Troeg's just has some sort of house flavor to me. Maybe it is their yeast strain. I am rarely a fan of their stuff, but I am definitely in the minority.

ETA: Wren you probably would like it. They don't distribute anywhere near you though. Last I knew Ohio was as close as they got. Maybe NC by now, not sure.

Hmmm....Deer God looked interesting til I read reviews. I'm sure panties will get wet for Tomb Raider being a retail game.

I think it's mainly that asshole yellow break apart robot in the first part of Wiley's castle in part 1 that grinds my gears. Pause game trick FTW though!

There is also apparently one save state you can put anywhere in the level in each game so you can get to the spot in the level you have problems (such as before a boss battle) and save right before it so you don't have to replay the whole section over again. That should make failure a lot less tedious.

Also just noticed that the games played total is different from the psnprofiles trophy card. What's the reason for that?
I was thinking that maybe TT only counts games after you start earning trophies, but when I counted your 0% games there were more 0% games than the difference accounted for.

Edit: NM, I rechecked. I lost my place the first time--you have 46 0% games.

Ah, I guess I just assumed you didn't, my bad. The few people I've met in the past who were really into beer tended to turn their nose up at flavored stuff.
No worries. A lot of the mass produced ones are pretty awful. That Wild Blue one is pretty nasty. I thought it was craft at first but it is one of the faux craft labels Bud makes I think.

You have probably seen me mention New Glarus when talking to the Wisc contingent. They make 3 fruit based beers that are phenomenal, IMO.

The biggest local craft company, Sweetwater, makes one just called Blue. I hate it, but it sells really well. They made a Belgian one that was much stronger called Big Ole Belgian Blue Balls once and since it had more body and flavor, I liked it.

I love how how Rocket League is somehow exempt from the dreaded classification "indie" in everyone's arguments between Plus and GwG.

For example, "All Sony has got the last few months are Rocket League and then a bunch of stupid indies"

I must have missed the part where Psyonix transformed into a massive developer and not an indie studio.

When they say "Indie," what they probably really mean is "cheap looking and 2D," which is what a lot of indie games look like or "glorified tech demos," which is what Grow Home kinda looks like.
