Might be out on Titan Souls now that it's only down to $7.50. Probably do Child of LIght and Namco Museum and de Blob instead. Along with Shutshimi of course.
Ok changed my mind.

Shutshimi: IN (duh)

Namco Museum: OUT

de Blob: IN

Child of Light: OUT (no vita why?)

Titan Souls: IN

This looks interesting:

Cross-buy for ps3/ps4/psv. No mention of price, but due end of year.
that was back farther than i thought. dev said in comments that they are shooting for 9.99, which would make this instabuy for me. also said they're trying for a platinum trophy.

i almost forgot to grab peggle. really only needed the dlc anyway, cause i already got slapped. still saved a $1 i think. i'll report back on that level when i play it next year, mild.

I can't even like this enough!!!!!!

I wish there was a Madden of Duty because that would be the best game, bro!

Is Hyper Light Drifter indie? Probably not. It looks awesome...must be triple AAA.

I'm starting to lose some steam on these sales, I like em for sure, but it's like damn I'm getting to the point where even if my backlog could play my backlog while I was at work I'd still have a backlog.

#toomuchtoplay

My backlog is about a hundred games deep. Every time I start making some decent progress on it I end up buying more shit.

Speaking of which, Curses and Chaos is much harder than I expected. Haven't even gotten to the first boss yet. Every set has 10 ~1min levels and a boss area. I made it to round 9 last time before getting completely overwhelmed and blowing it at the last second.

Lol guy calls me therm and then says people can't dislike games or genres without specific, concrete reasons and examples as to why.
Never said that. In fact that's basically the opposite of what I said. If people say they don't like 2D platformers that's fine, that doesn't bug me. But nobody says that. All they say is "we get stupid indies". That is meaningless, and hypocritical since almost everyone likes a few games that are indies. "Indie" is not a genre. Saying "all we get is crappy indie games" is stupid and close minded.

One reason is usually all I need to hear to understand why a person doesn't like a game or genre. You, SJD, and the countless other online morons regularly give zero.

You had me until the food analogy. I can accept the premise that if you've tried thai food before and didn't like it you wouldn't try another place's thai food in the off chance that it's better. I guess if they've never tried thai food and they wouldn't try it that'd be closed minded.
Yeah if someone doesn't like Thai food I'm not going to try and convince them that a different place's thai food is better.

Titan Souls is supposed to be super boring. Lots and lots of exploration without a point and the bosses are really easy. At least that's what people are saying on another board I frequent, anyway. Has anybody in here played it?
The only boring part is how slow the character moves when you have to wander around looking for the titans. You could also just use a guide if you're not sure where to go. It's not like exploration is really the point of the game. It was definitely a misstep by the developer but people shouldn't overlook the far better parts of the game just because the boss rooms are spaced too far apart.

It's not really easy at all. I doubt a ton of people finish their first playthrough without looking up at least a couple solutions. I don't think I've read a single person ever call it easy.

Apparently some Rocket League MLG finals is on right now. Runner up match is on now and real finals later tonight.

I can't really deal with the announcing. Just seems so corny to me. I also can't even type MLG without smirking
My expectations involve lots of crazy flying and aerial goals. I am prepared to be disappointed.

EDIT: Okay this guy flew from across the field and hit the ball right towards the goal. A little slow, though so they blocked it no problem.

I thought there'd be more aerials for sure. They all spend a ton of time collecting boost it seems. Would be fun for 3 of us to play one of these teams, see if they really would just smash us to pieces. They honestly don't look that great in this but they're probably neutralizing each other out for the most part.

Added two games to my Buy list from this sale from the blog, Bound By Flame and Trials Fusion.

Guess we know why they stopped doing the sales lists. Bound By Flame is listed at $5.50 on PS4 (it's really $12) and Trials Fusion is listed at $3 on PS4 (it's really $8)

I'm cool with Twisted Metal..passed so many times when it was on sale for $5, but have wanted to try it out since Twisted Metal Black was awesome.

Some chic says she wants to come over and cam tonight so i don't know if im gonna be on for binary domain or not. Is anyone even still doing this or did it all fall apart? I could just tell her to wait or maybe do both simultaneously.

Still doing it, I'll be on around 7:30 cdt assuming I can move a washing machine upstairs and not die.

Bound by Flame is worth $12, I think. It's by Spiders, the same people that did Mars: War Logs (which I know you have access to), Of Orcs and Men, and the upcoming The Technomancer. Not sure on Of Orcs and Men, but Mars: War Logs uses the same combat/menu system as BbF so you might want to fire that up and see if you enjoy it.

Notes for if you're going at the plat:

You'll need to do two full playthroughs and four total playthroughs of the last chapter of the game. One playthrough for human, one for demon (one of these also has to be on hard,) and two additional playthroughs of the last chapter for each relationship trophy. The endings and human/demon paths are easy to manage, but the romance stuff is a chore. There's a few character-specific quests for each option, which is fine, but you also have to remember to talk to each option after every main story quest. If you miss one you won't know until you get to the end of the game and the option's relationship trophy doesn't trigger.

BbF is a very skill-based combat game. You have to get to level 19 without spending any skill points to easily get the trophies for each of the 3 skill trees (at 19 you just manual save, max one tree, reload, repeat, reload, repeat). That gets a bit rough, but once you get there if you spec pyromancy/dagger skills then you will chew things up really fast and the game becomes a lot more fun. Despite the skill thing the game isn't too difficult in normal mode. The hard mode (trophy required) is really tough, though. I gave up when I started that. The game was fun enough that I plan to go back at some point, but I wasn't willing to go through it right after playing the game already.
