So I played Infinity 3.0 for a bit last night...it's actually pretty fun. I don't know how I'd feel about it at full price but for $32.50 and a $10 cert I can easily see getting my money's worth from it.

Just finished Uncharted: GA on hard. I'd only played UC1 previously. I figured they would have improved the cover mechanics in the five years between the two games. Nope. Not at all.

Some of the kill trophies in UC:GA are definitely not intended to be earned through normal play. Even 4 natural playthroughs wouldn't trigger GAU-19's 200 kills, I think. Kinda pointless grind to make people load up a game section and just run though it over and over again, but that seems to be what they've done.

GA doesn't have multiplayer, but do the MP modes in the main titles count towards kill trophies?

Humble Bundle End of Summer has a Telltale bundle deal. If you make a bundle with 3 games, the whole bundle is 80% off. 4 games is 83%, 5 games is 85%. $10.49 to get these games on Steam:

 1. Game of Thrones
 2. Tales from the Borderlands
 3. Poker Night 1
 4. Poker Night 2
 5. Puzzle Agent

Deal lasts 2 more hours. Pretty ridiculous price if you do PC gaming at all and don't already have GoT or TftB.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/bundle/telltalegames/

Alternatively you could swap out some of the other games if you're missing older titles. TWAU for Puzzle Agent sets it at $13.49, for example.

Not sure if anyone cares, but today's my birthday. Woo.

I'll probably celebrate by playing the ever-loving heck out of Peace Walker now that I have the means to S-rank every optional mission (rocket launcher that captures soldiers with each hit + infinite ammo).

Thanks, it lasts 2 more days.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Naughty Dog loves grindy. And GA is the least grindy of the sequels by far.

I don't even care about my own birthday but...Happy Birthday.

If any Unit 13 players dont want to 5 star everything and need someone to share some HVTs via near, add "ozmandius." He says he'll help anyone out. Near still works fine for it btw.

EPL soccer is on right now on NBC for anyone saying they wanted to watch more of it.

Seems like Everton is always on over here. Wonder if that has anything to do with Tim Howard or if it's just how the schedule falls.

Last night was a blast down by the beach. I used to go to the beach every weekend during my bar days to catch live music. I ran into some friends that move away 10 years ago and were at the bar for the same music. It just happened they were in town and it was just like the good old days. When I was heavily into collecting Sublime there were people that lived all over the country and craved that music scene. This guy lives out in Florida and this other guy from North Carolina showed up and I got to meet them after trading for 18 years.

The diversity in music was crazy last night. It started off with some reggae/punk jams, then came some surf rock which is always awesome and last was pure punk which Simmias would have loved to see.

The best news of the night was when my friend that has been battling cancer came up to me and told me that's he's been in remission for 5 months. I was so happy to hear those words from him and then tells me he kept the PMA just like I would wanted.

What a priceless night!

So yesterday I met my "like this" quota, but about 2 hours later I was able to like a few more posts. Now today I liked a couple of posts and it's telling me I met my quota for positive votes again. WTF?

They don't actually have many games with trophies. Other than Jak Collection, I've only played UC1 and GA from them. Jak 1 was the only good game so I didn't pay much attention to 2 and 3's trophies, and UC1 was before I was paying any attention to trophies.

I am planning to play TLOU:R next month. Probably not going to bother with the MP stuff, but hoping it's not terribly grindy otherwise.

Naughty Dog didn't do Golden Abyss. Bend Studios did.

On way back from Target. Saw some bags had a code. Grabbed one will pm it to you later.

Zimm cartwheel worked well today. Even the scanner. Why don't you take off early today?

Happy Birthday, Vig!

I'm off today and besides cleaning and groceries I have nothing planned. It might be time to play some games again. I don't even know where to begin! Maybe BO3 beta if it's still going on XB1 or something simple like a Telltale episode. I need to catch up on TFTB and GOT.
Thanks, jim! You're the real PSNOT MVP. Now I almost feel bad for blowing by you on TT.
I noticed. Started earn trophies again this week though in Borderlands The Pre Sequel on both PS3 and PS4.
