Guy I know picked it up after I posted about on another forum. His original 60gb died recently.

[quote name="tylerh1701" post="12907765" timestamp="1441673905"]Ihop has better quality food, I agree, but their prices are a lot higher. As far as I know they don't have a 2/4/6/8 menu or something similar like Denny's does.

I have given up on the local IHOP. Crappy service and barely warm food. We don't have a local Denny's but my dad and I go to one about once a year. Cheaper and faster then a diner and open late (24 hours?) on a Sunday night.

Tomorrow morning: I finish omega quintet.

Tomorrow afternoon: I wonder why I played omega quintet.

Tomorrow night: I dig in to the post game of omega quintet.

Is Virginia Tech really playing that gobble sound to fire up the crowd? I'll admit I hate when any team with a cat as a mascot uses that roar sound but at least it's better than a turkey gobble. Good lord.

Man is Braxton Miller gonna be a good non quarterback lol.

The second place (silver get it) PS4 headsets are on clearance at Target.  About half the stores on the trackers show 50% off now so 29.98 or 30% off so 41.98.  DPCI 207-00-0298

Golds are not on clearance.

Final boss was easier than the next to last. Not a no damage win, though. And I guess there's some stuff I haven't found. I think some health. I'm at 91%

I just saw this commercial during the Cardinals game. I'm pretty sure whoever wrote it knew what they were doing with that bird bit at the :18 mark.
You know, when he says that, he leans forward and the tip of the C makes it give him a huge dick. He so nasty.

I love doing the final hardest run of a game. No worry about missables or misc trophies, just get to enjoy the gameplay and the plot. About to finish Hardline again.

98%. Argh. I need a hint. I've found
2 hidden areas on each planet. Is there one (or more) planet that have more than that? Which ones?

I'm friends with a waitress at my local IHOP, so I get the hookup on food there. Extra massive omelettes and whatnot. Usually my drinks are free. Sometimes I pay for only the drink and the food is free. It's awesome.

Might go tonight, actually.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I just got back into town. The party on Friday was awesome. Sadly, I couldn't stay as long as I wanted because I got invited to go to San Diego for the weekend. I went from the party to out of town at 5am. Luckily I wasn't driving and got to sleep the entire 6 hours there lol. We spent the weekend soaking up sun on the beach. It was perfect!

I just remembered that I bought those twist shots and forgot to take one. We did big group shots instead. I'll ask my friends tomorrow at work if they took them and how they tasted.

So starting from the beginning and I'll see how long I'll keep going, Metal Gear 1 via MGS3 HD collection extras menu.

You start with just your fists (they apparently don't believe in giving their rookie operatives equipment other than cigarettes) but after a little exploration you start to get more equipment like a pistol, grenade launcher, etc. Then after a face off with a group of enemies you win a silencer for your pistol and MGS's signature cardboard box. It's a gauntlet of locked doors and backtracking in order to get items and keycards to progress past the locked doors. Serious exploration is rewarded as you find and rescue POWs (like in Metal Slug), every 5 or so you rescue results in a level up which increases your max HP and how much ammo and rations (replenishes HP) you can carry.

Like the cardboard box, the comm link from MGS was present in the first game too, though instead of being super serious it is a little more tongue-in-cheek and flippant (like the rest of the game). Calls to your CO often go unanswered and occasionally when you call the information department she will be busy (such as in the shower).  In one area you escape a jail cell by knocking on the walls looking for a weakness and then punch through the walls with your bare fists. Occasionally you will be trolled when you jump into the back of a truck looking for supplies, and suddenly the truck will get towed back to the starting area LOL.

They give you the option to save at any time from the start menu, but you can't save at any time. It only ACTUALLY saves at points when you are in a side-scrolling room with an elevator (the rest of the game is a top down view) which serves as a checkpoint that you restart at if you die.

I know this is a long shot but its all i got left for the plat. If anyone in here has bf hardline for ps3 and have the mac10/double barreled shotgun hit me up or else im gonna skip the plat on this one for now. I don't have 20 hours to put into multiplayer for one trophy at this point

According to Randy Pitchford, this is apparently coming exclusively to Gamestop (spoilered because big):

From the CE thread:

Along with the digital release, gamers will also be able to purchase a special, limited boxed edition of Hearts of Stone (SRP $19.99/19.99€) available at selected retailers worldwide. The box contains a digital download code for the expansion, two masterfully crafted physical decks of Gwent, the card game set in the world of The Witcher, and a detailed manual explaining the rules. With two unique sets of cards, Monsters and Scoia’tael, ready to go, players can now engage in tactical combat on a grand scale outside of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!

The studio launched a special initiative for owners of the digital Expansion Pass that will enable them to purchase the cards separately. All information about the initiative can be found at redeemgwent.com.
I'm definitely getting that for the physical Gwent cards. Hopefully Best Buy will carry it.

The expansion itself will release 10/13: http://gematsu.com/2015/09/the-witcher-3-hearts-stone-expansion-launches-october-13

^I just realized that if CD Projekt Red does a similar physical release for the second expansion, they'll likely include the remaining two themed Gwent decks (Northern Realms & Nilfgaardian Empire).

Off today and playing more Mad Max, throwing up stream if anyone wants to see me do a bunch of boring shit.

Almost at 10k scrap for a trophy (9200 i think right now) and working on clearing out one whole area for another one.

Game aint bad, its just all TOO big though with way too much to do. There has to be close 150+ hell maybe 200+ scrap areas you have to completely clear for a trophy, freaking insane.

So is it just SJD and me playing through MGS5 right now? Not seeing it discussed much by you guys. It's consumed my life for the past week and I'm not even half way through the story. Can't say enough how good it is. Just when you think you've seen everything it throws something else super awesome at you.

I'm playing MGS4 if that counts.

Avenged, Stotch, Derek, Vig, and Topside have all at least played some of the PS4 version according to the TT friend leaderboard. I didn't check the PS3 one so some of the people from Wisconsin may have started it too.

I'm going to get back to it tonight, hopefully. I love what I've seen so far.

Yeah the amount of stuff is ridiculous. Which is why I am still amazed that every single scavenge location and camp look as completely different as you can look even though they are all in a desert.

Did all of you cheat the speed run in Xeodrifter? I started a new save to try to do it legit, but I don't think I'll be even close to an hour. I was going fine until the 3rd boss. One problem, though, is I was also trying to get health during a boss battle and I probably shouldn't have been trying for that (and I haven't even succeeded yet, not without dying, anyway).

Also I'm not sure when I started my first game, so not sure how I'd get the clock right.
