This just in! A Japanese role playing game featuring spiky haired anime characters and an impossible-to-pronounce title has just been announced. It is unclear whether it will be coming to America, but if it does you can bank on it selling terribly and being a complete chore to play through. We'll have more information as it becomes available. 

 
Played some more Metal Gear last night (finally) and got through Mission 4 along with 2 side ops. At this rate I should be done by 2017. At least the world is open now and I can just choose my missions...that should help.

I 100%d Murasaki Baby on Vita, didn't even know it was that easy just sort of decided to boot it up. I thought I would try it out but ended up just playing it through. I guess it wasn't much of a game but it was unique enough to hold my interest for the few hours long it was. 

Got to get back to RE: Revelations 2 episode 2....but I also picked back up Runner 2. Game is so much fun and it's definitely one of those games where if you fail you know you did something wrong because it's pretty damn precise.

It's kind of weird but I've never known a dead system (VITA) to get so many announcements. Between the slew of Japanese titles and indies it should be alive for another 10 years. Dead at retail lives on through imports and downloads?

I'm kinda torn on the 2-playthrough requirement for the UC games. One one hand it'd be fantastic if the game would check your PSN profile and automatically unlock brutal if you beat crushing on PS3. On the other hand with the trophy setup and everything having to do two playthroughs on top of the weapon challenges and such kinda makes sense anyway.

I just brought up the store searching for something else and noticed an Add-On pack for it on the main page. It being $50 shocked me. I guess they aren't even messing around with micro-transactions and just going for it all at once?

Holy shit, I thought this game was dead in the water. I think it looks awesome, and its got good reviews on iOS. Shame they couldn't put it on PS4 so they could actually sell some copies.

It's by the developer of Gunslugs. Remember that game I told everyone to buy and it turned out to be totally awesome?

Gator may not like the McGriddle, but it's easily my favorite fast food breakfast item. Sucks that that won't be on the all-day breakfast menu.

They ain't fucking around. After you lose a level, it asks you if you want to buy a powerup. When you lose your last life, it asks you multiple times if you want to buy more. Some of these levels might be impossible to beat without spending actual money. A lot of it depends on what drops from the top of the screen.

I'm glad I only have a nickel in my PSN wallet.

It's $2.47 for the Android version, so I suspect anywhere from $5-$10 for the Vita version. ($9 would be a good guess)

I'm so over the 8-bit retro look though.

Heroes of Loot is $5 on steam. If it shows up on PSN around the same price I'm in. Looks like they've got a free and paid version on the play store. $2.50 there. Twin stick, dungeon crawling, shoot em up. Might check out the free version before this drops.

Hey pharm, how many ahn-velopes do you need to buy, and it what sizes? You definitely need to order more of the business size ones, but should you go for the ones with the see through shipping address? Sometimes your checks don't line up with the window though, maybe you should switch ahnvelope providers the last one had sticky ahnvelope sealant and it sucked.

I fucking hate these conversations.

 
Played Entwined for about 15 minutes last night.

I know it was free with Plus, but I can't ever imagine someone paying for it.

A bigger question that begs to be asked, is what the developers thought when they were making it. Do they have any idea as to what a "game" actually is? Were they just trying to create some subversion of those principles?

Tempted to get at least one of those Fire tablets for $50. We have two Kindle Fires right now (they might be first generation, I don't know)

Kids use them everyday, constantly. We bought a square trade warranty when we first got them and have probably gone through three or four of them.

 
Sweet, played 2 tickets for the Cash 5 last night had 3 numbers on both tickets. $32 win after the $2 OOP. #realmath

Heroes of Loot looks like it might have potential, but really makes me wish Vlambeer would hurry up and finish Nuclear Throne (and get it onto VIta ASAP).

I am nearly 100% positive a while back I deleted Driveclub, but when I went to clear out space last night on the PS4 there it was, fully installed. Conspiracy?

On phone, my wife is at level 190 like I said... between her and I we are on level 38, 90 stars total... it isn't too bad, just takes a little time.
