Why can't I use the dog yet? I finished through mission 10 and I read somewhere that he'll join after mission 9. He's just sitting at the base wagging his tail. I did do the missions in backwards order.

He's grown up now, correct? For me, the cutscene where you can take him on missions just kicked in after I requested a chopper on Mother Base, though I don't remember what I'd finished mission-wise. Maybe you should do a few Side Ops or Free Roam for a while, go back to Mother Base, then try to leave?

The free Witcher 3 PS4 theme is pretty great. I love hearing the different sound effects for selecting options and moving the cursor, plus the symbols are different for Friends, Profile, Trophies, etc.

 
God, I'm rewatching the final season of The Office.

Who vandalized Pam's mural?!?!?  It was Frank, that guy we introduced you to 30 seconds ago! Isn't he the fucking worst! What an asshole!

I'm not sure if this matters or not, but Ocelot was constantly reminding me to come back to mother base to visit the dog so he wouldn't get lonely... maybe you have to visit him a number of times before he grows up? I didn't really pay attention to it, but I know I was at base quite a few times when he was still a pup.

Why would you watch the final season of the office? i would just go back to season 1-3 or whatever before Pam and Jim got together. That show was awesome when Jim was doing pranks on Dwight and not able to get Pam. Once they got together the show blew.

Yeah, all the stupid hoops they made them jump through sucked. There were good bits here and there, but stuff like the circus in the parking lot, everything to do with Ed Helms (literally every scene he was in his character was terrible), and most of the new cast that came in later were all terrible.

I do like making fun of the wife when she watches that last wedding, though. She tears up when the best man makes his appearance.

 
Gotta say Xeodrifter is not as fun as you all made it out to be.  So far its a chore to play.  I probably just need to get used to the old 8 bit indie mechanics.

 
It was great to see the Jets D play solid last night and give me a win in my main fantasy league. I was up one point with the Jets D and he had Andre...a pleasant outcome for sure.

It's not like this is new (he confirmed every single extraction in Peace Walker), but his questioning tone in Phantom Pain can get annoying.

thanks, got it this morning after I extracted from the 11th mission.

mad max is getting the shaft. I'm not going to play it this go around, but hopefully it'll have a good sale during black friday so I can pick it up and spend some quality time with it. mgs5 just caught me off guard, I'm really surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. even the stealthing around isn't too awful.

It was alright; despite playing the game in Welsh, I got the gist of the story. Thankfully none of the collectible trophies glitched on me, but I didn't like having to get all of them in one sitting to prevent any glitches. Also, the song that played during the credits--which I assume was made just for this game based on the lyrics--was cringeworthy.

I liked it more than Infinity Runner, though.

All in one sitting as in not turning the game off once before you got them all? Pretty sure I turned it off in between getting all collectables and got no glitches. But twas long ago.

Yes, according to the trophy guide I used. I didn't want to take that chance, plus I had yesterday off from work so my afternoon and evening were free. I took a couple of breaks while playing, though.

I'm watching all of Parks and Rec for the first (well the first 5 seasons anyway) as its about to leave Amazon Prime. I really don't understand how anyone can resist punching Aziz Ansari in the face as soon as they meet him for the first time. Literally EVERY role I've ever seen him play is an annoying jackass that deserves a punch in the face.

Stopped by target this morning to grab a copy of minecraft vita. They had pulled them from lockup and put them with the rest of the clearance games without changing the stickers, but it rang up at $6. Also grabbed a copy of Liberation. So far I've gotten BL2, Rayman Legends, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Minecraft, and Liberation. They've still got a copy of Lego Marvel that I've been wavering on getting as well.

I just got MGS Vita and the Assassin's creed Vita game.

Lego Marvel Vita is not like the console games. There is no hub world at all. Each level has a certain set of things you need to do for challenges. While I admittedly like that franchise better than any of the other Lego games, I thought it was one of the best setup ones. It does not seem like a collection fest like all the others since there was more variety in the challenges. Some seem impossible until you realize that you can get red bricks at some point that make them piss easy.

Finished mission 6 last night in MGS5. Every time I start to feel like this isn't exactly a Metal Gear game I'm then reminded that it is. It still definitely feels a lot different than the rest of the series. I mean sure it is the culmination of the years of heading in this direction but it does make me curious about what was cut as well. Unless something nuts happen I'm going to do all the side ops and main missions because it is a lot of fun to play.

Thanks, I just want to get my plat and move on. I own it digitally and would be happy to help others if need by at later time. The maps issue just pissed me off and I am ready to play something else. I can see me going back to BL2 just to mess around and level up from 66 and 61 to 72. Doubt I will do much else with TPS other then the two included DLCs.

 
Wow, the unboxed forums are littered with people that didn't receive their $10 bonus from MGS.  Looks like I'm in the right place though... pretty much every problem I've read has been quickly addressed.  Thanks again simmias or whoever it was that pointed me in that direction.
