Without suspend it'd be impossible for me to play. I learned today that you can change the turn timer from 3m to 2m and for some reason that makes the AI playuch quicker. So that might get the games down to 30m or less.

I know I've made the complaint before that a lot of people who write about video games seem to know nothing about video games, but my god.
The guy who wrote that preview is going to be constantly hounded about this in whatever future articles he writes and he probably deserves some of it. Time for a name or career change.

DIdnt we all see the trailer that Naughty Dog did a few months ago? It looks noting like UC2. Not sure how someone who works for a video game site that covers all consoles could miss it. Your an idiot if you mistake UC2 for UC4.

Good to know. My library now says its on hold for me. Not that they emailed me about it. I had to check the status to see that. Obviously our library loves to charge the fee for not picking up a video game hold.

I guess square enix has weird restrictions regarding streaming Dragon Quest Heroes? Youtube can stream unrestricted but Twitch streams aren't supposed to have the sound on? Kinda funny, I was watching a twitch feed with sound earlier. I doubt anyone paid any attention to their disclaimers.
If I had the ability and technical know-how, I'd be a dick on principle alone. Steam it soundless as asked, but replace it all with fart noises and circus music.

Nintendo just sent me some demo codes for Tri Force Heroes, but it's screwed up. The only way to play it is in local multiplayer (which requires all 3 people to have demo codes) or online in a 5 hour window each day this weekend. Single player isn't available.

They cover the local multiplayer requiring 3 codes issue by giving you two extra codes.
Can you play this game 2 player or does it require 3? If it's 2 player my kids might want to try it on our trip (but I got codes too, so don't need them).

I have been taking random days off just to try and stay under the vacation accrual cap we have. I planned tomorrow to be a stay at home and play Mad Max day, but I think video games will have to take a back seat to my other hobby instead.
I just found out by dumb luck Wicked Weed's (the best of the small local breweries in Asheville) launch party for the Atlanta market starts tomorrow at noon at the Brick Store Pub in Decatur. Nothing like some day time drinking followed by sobering up on a Marta ride back to the burbs. Only downside is I do not have any friends available to go with. Maybe I will just have to treat the thread like a live blog and annoy all you assholes.

That's the way (quasi) remakes should work, take an interesting idea that for one reason or another was botched in execution and redo it. The series (which takes place 20 something years after the events of the film) was fairly enjoyable and much improved in S2. Unfortunately it ended on a cliffhanger.

So I was able to get my BB order to go through. After spending close to an hour fruitlessly on the phone with BB I decided to call my bank and see if they could reactivate my old card. They said they couldn't do that, but could authorize the charges on the old card to be moved to the new card and approved. They did that and told me to try and put the order through again. I did that about 30 mins later and it worked on the first try. Went and picked up Talos Principle and got my shipping confirmation for Dragon Quest!
So all in all, Chase Bank is awesome and Best Buy is dumb as rocks.

Chase is really good. They try really hard on the retail side and have a lot of great tech too.
