Anyone here preorder games for shipping online from Gamestop enough to know if it matters at all which shipping you choose to get it on release day, or is it all irrelevant and just go with the value option?

I dont think they have release day shipping. I got Destiny TTK on the friday the week it came out

It would be super sweet if the Cubs got eliminated in Back to the Future day since they've been hyping the World Series prediction the last two weeks.
 
I love replaying an earlier mission in MGS V to S-rank it and finding tons of elite soldiers in the process. I found nearly 40 A+/A++/S dudes during "Hellbound".

I totally zoned out with my son and we did a bunch of spec ops missions and survival in MW2/MW3 on ps3. wow time flies seems like he was born yesterday and those games are older than him

I bet you and your son were just breezing through all of the spec ops missions on Veteran, too. Crazy and I played some of the MW3 ones last week, and so far have only three starred the airplane mission. We must have replayed the sub mission a million times; slowly progressing a little farther with each attempt. Either we both suck, or I'm thinking mics would be beneficial; right Crazy?

On that note, I'll be on again tonight to give it another go if your game, Crazy.

Apparently Velos son is even better than me at video games. I still have no idea where the dongle is to my golds. I blame my son and him plugging in that stupid Disney infinity. I may have an old wired headset around somewhere I can look for. I Googled around for a new dongle, and apparently it's cheaper to buy a whole new headset than trying to buy a new one.

Good luck trying to get a replacement dongle. I called sony up when I was going through 2-3 pairs of golds from amazon warehouse deals that came without a dongle. They dont sell replacements.

I got my back to the future complete adventures box set yesterday. Its pretty awesome. Didnt realize the flux capacitor lit up on the box.

I'm down if you guys need help too. I know they are only 2 players, but still. iv only got the final missions left.

and yeah he was mainly to revive me and run around. We kept doing mw2 high explosives where you try to kill 10 juggs with only a knife and explosives. It wasn't happening, still fun tho.

and yeah just started mw3 spec ops, yeah that sub is pretty crazy. I had him run the obstacle course with me at least 10 times before i settled on 2 stars cuz we couldn't break 28 seconds. oh well

 
I wasn't able to re-download my TWD S1 PS4 save data last night because I deleted the application from my system after uploading the save data to the PS+ cloud, but I don't have the game anymore since I traded it in after finishing it; now I'll have to "rent" that from Gamestop, too, so I can continue with S2.

Has this always been the case for PS4 save data (can't download cloud-stored save data without the respective application installed on the PS4)?

Stop making me want to buy this. I already have the DVDs for the trilogy. Seriously, I don't need a light up flux capacitor no matter how awesome it looks and no matter how much my son would probably enjoy the cartoon. Even if it is pretty and light up and pretty. Stop it.

To my understanding the save import has no impact on the S2 story. There might be some slight variations in dialogue, but that's it. There's a brief flashback when you tell
Kenny what happened with Lee
but I don't remember anything else of any significance. Not worth bothering with as far as I can tell.

 
oh man transformers is 1000x more fun on the lowest difficulty - the difference is staggering.  

commander difficulty?  sideswipe can take 3-4 hits from most named decepticons before dying.  takes upwards of 30+ combos to take out anything but minions.

easiest difficulty?  sideswipe is a damn tank.  minions will usually go down in one charge + combo where named decepticons (previously taking 30+ combos) can be beat in a handful of attacks and some dodges.  AWESOME

looks like the talos principle showed up at my library for me so I might go snag that and try it out before assassins creeeeeeeeeeed.

House of Cards update:

Finished season 2 and watched episode 1 of season 3 last night.  Really enjoyed most of season 2 and episode 1 but I can see where it might start getting stale since
Kevin Spacey is now the President which they keep reminding us is "the most powerful man in the free world".  If he is the President during season 3 he has less to fight for since he is the man now.  yeah they can have some people trying to take him down but part of the fun of the first two seasons was him battling his way to the top. oh and the three way with his body guard and wife was weird.  Totally unexpected though so it was shocking and worked well for the show.

Kevin Spacey is the fuck ing man though.  Both his character and his real self.  He is a great actor and his character is a total badass in the show.

The pretty huge jump in difficulty is between normal and commander so you'd probably be fine to bump it up from easy. What difficulty you are playing on also affects the quality of your loot.

Doesn't who died or didn't die in S1 change S2 a bit? Not that I think it is earth shatteringly different but certainly seems to have carry over (as does the 400 days DLC).

Your spoiler is the issue I had with the last season, it just wasnt very good compared to the first 2.
