Yes I SPENT -$2500 meaning I MADE that much this year on games and bought everything I wanted as well.
More power to you guys who flip shit, but I like to spend my work time working and my leisure time leisuring, and not have the two intersect.

Gauntlet just made me wanna play Diablo 3 instead. Rather level up and get new gear instead of using the same shit for the entire game.

I'm going to be in David Tennant overload going from Jessica Jones to season 2 of Broadchurch.
Are you finished with JJ or just moving on? If you finished it, what were your thoughts? The comments I'd seen so far made it sound rather depressing and like it focused almost entirely on the abuse stuff.

Cause flipping is SOOO much work.

What Kilik said, thanks to GCU, flipping has never been easier. I have to barely do anything flipping games that I can at least fund my game purchases... There are crazy flippers out there who can live off of flips. but simple game flipping is so easy now, everyone is just waiting for BB to catch on and kill the program.

Played Gauntlet last night for about three hours. For me, the game fits the definition of mindless fun. There's not much to it; move through each dungeon, kill a bunch of enemies, collect a bunch of gold, rinse and repeat.

I think it's best played with friends that you can talk shit to; "Oh, did you need that food I just destroyed." or " Did you just die, allow me to loot your corpse." That's the real fun of the game; trying to survive, and seeing who has the most gold at the end of the dungeon. It's also fun racing for the crown, and if you don't get it trying to get whoever has it killed so you can grab it.

The trophies are stingy; I only got the one for beating the first boss. And the Wizard has a spell you can purchase that is really broken. It doesn't do a lot of damage, but it slows down the enemies and they can't attack you. My buddy was playing as the Wizard, he would use that spell, and I would attack the group of enemies from behind with the Warrior.

Side-note: The buddy I was playing with last night I've known since 1st Grade (33 years). There are actually four of us that have known each other since 1st Grade, and we all keep in touch. Three of us video game together. The fourth spends to much time chasing women, getting married, and then divorced (he just filed for his third).

I enjoyed gauntlet and would like to keep playing it but I also want to try Diablo since I have never played any Diablo games before and it seems like something I would enjoy. I like loot.

I didn't effectively factor flipping/trade credit/etc into my spreadsheet this year. I'm sure my totals would be much lower if I had bothered counting only out of pocket costs instead of just the receipt cost.

Most of my spending was off of gift cards or rewards points from easy trades. Gonna see if I can try to track it better next year. The full flipping thing seems like too much effort for me most of the time though.

I am absolutely to the point in my life where free time is worth more to me than almost anything. I don't want to drive to fucking Gamestop et al when I could be doing something else. But again, more power to you guys.

It's not quite as crazy as Borderlands but yeah there's a ton of loot in the game. I was totally hooked on Diablo 1 when it came out back in the 90s and played it constantly for months. D2 and D3 didn't measure up very well for various reasons. D3 just didn't have anything about it to make replaying the game fun and a lot of the mechanics were geared towards that. I played D3 on launch, though, and from everything I've heard they've improved it a ton via patches. I've been tempted to go back and check it out again.

Honestly the thing with flipping\ebaying\etc. is it just gets so much easier the more you do it. It literally takes me so little time now. Some flips are as easy as taking out a packing slip putting a new one in along with a new label and boom done. I hadn't done it for so long but I got pulled back in due to the incentive.

No, no I am not. Is there a way I can get these PS+ cards activated without going back to Walmart? I mean fuck I specifically asked them to make sure they were activated. Mother fuck fuck fuck !!
Good fucking luck. Walmart rant:
I stopped at walmart on my way home from my parent's on Thanksgiving night. Grabbed 4 PS+ cards among other things, but they rang up at the normal $17.99 price. I told the girl they were supposed to be on sale for $10 each. She stared at me. I pulled out my phone and showed her the ad. She said "it must be a different thing." I said "oh well maybe someone ELSE (like someone who gives half a shit) can help me find the ones that are on sale?" At this point, a manager named "Puddin" came over and told her to just adjust the price. The register said something didn't get activated, but they thought it was just because she had to cancel out the original 4 and reenter them in at the new price. They assured me if there was any problem, I could come back and they'd fix it.

I went back the next day on black friday to pick up some lego sets that weren't listed in the ad, but were on sale online. They actually had the modern color mario amiibo, all of the games that were on sale in the ad in displays with all the prices marked. On Thanksgiving, none of that was out. It was like they just showed up at the last minute, opened the store and unlocked all of the glasses cases for the games for the wolves to go crazy.

Gave one of the PS+ codes to Tyler and he got an error. Went back to the store and told them what happened and what Puddin told me. The lady went and got her manager named "Baraka". The computer told him that the one code I tried to use was not activated, but the other 3 should be. I had Tyler try a second code while I stood there at customer service and it worked. Then a third code, which did not work. It's like fucking random nonsense. After more talking I basically tried cutting my losses, but he couldn't refund the cards that the computer said were never activated. In the end, of the 4 cards I got, 1 worked and was redeemed for 3 months of plus, 1 got refunded to my credit card, and 2 got refunded to cash.

Also, one of the other things I got the first night was Transformers Devastation, which I got from BB for $20 on Monday. Now I gotta return that too.

I'm on episode 12 I think. Don't read comments, just watch it.

Other than the dope ass fight choreography in Daredevil, I think Jessica Jones was better overall. Last few episodes were crazy. Need to rewatch DD though.

DD the character wasn't at all appealing. Kingpin was amazing, though, and is what really kept me going.

Well, that character and Deborah Ann Woll.

Life is strange is an easy plat? Might have to look into that one.

Simple completion, and the developers put in a collectibles mode that allows you to go to specific chapters to get missing collectibles that make it super easy to do. 1/10 Plat difficulty from PS4 trophies...

tales from the borderlands went away from The wolf among us and is a simple complete = plat

I still recommend JC3 if you liked JC2. However if you want to wait to play it it should get even better once they patch the load times (we all hope). The load times are really the only annoying thing that hinders enjoyment. As much as I bitch about the odd thing here and there they arent a big deal as every open world game has oddball things to it.
You're making me consider focusing more on DQH and FO4 until the load times get patched...I don't like that you're giving me these doubts!

Yeah, it's another adventure game. Every trophy is for finishing one of the 5 chapters (ch 5 is gold, 1-4 are bronze) or for picking up photos in the game. Each photo gives you another bronze and there's a collectible mode to go back for missing photos. Ch5 just came out and there are already ~6k platinum owners.

Edit: semi-bested.

Shipping stuff is a pain.
I now have a ups drop box inside my office, so I can just bring stuff to work, print labels at my desk and tape em and then when I go to lunch throw everything in the drop box. It's probably the most convenientest thing ever.

I forgot to tell you guys (the football people anyway) that one of the dudes from the Salvation Army that picked up my old couch reminded me of JJ Watt.  He had to be 6'6" and was jacked.  Probably Watts cousin or something.

All of my friends that are playing it say the same thing... great game, load times really suck!
Check my post again as you might have misinterpreted what I meant--I love JC3 and it doesn't seem like the load times are all that bad for me (the longest I've seen so far was maybe 40-45 seconds), but if they'll eventually get fixed, maybe my gaming time would be better spent working on the two other timesinks I'm currently playing on PS4.

But like Pharm said, Fall out is the same... some of the load choices were dumb. Fast travel in the game is dumb. Have to leave a building, load screen, select fast travel, load screen, have to enter building you were fast traveling to, another load screen.

What is with this next gen already? I knew they were getting to some limits in regards to graphics, so I figured that much shorter load times were coming, but it seems some have gotten worse or the same.

I don't mind ebaying bc all I have to do is print a label, drop the game in a bubble mailer and walk to my mailbox. fuck jumping through hoops to flip shit though, I don't have the time or energy for all that.

So basically what you're saying is...I should just finish up Dragon Quest Heroes since it doesn't have anywhere-near-as-bad load times.

Awesome that you donated the old couch to the Salvation Army.

Bound looks weird. It's a 3rd person 3d platformer but they went with a trailer of some chick dancing. Also has ballet and electric acoustic music for the soundtrack according to the post. Why?

The same company did Linger in Shadows and Datura for PS3. I've no idea what either of those is.
Man God of War 4 looks awesome!!!!!!!

Seriously, I'm assuming you all already gave Vig a sufficient amount of shit for predicting this game was God of War 4, right?

yeah man. my mom always did it that way so I will too. yeah I could probably get $50 for it from someone. But why?

I know a lot of people that whenever they upgrade anything in their house, or anything they own really they will always post the old item on facebook/ebay/craigs list etc. One dude in particular I know has a lot of money and upgrades stuff all the time. He is always posting shit on facebook asking his "friends" if they want to buy it. Some things are as cheap as $10. I personally think thats pretty douchey. You should offer the shit up to your friends for free and if no one wants it then sell it or give it to Salvation Army or even Goodwill if its something they will take. I mean we arent talking about cars or something worth thousands here either.
