I know a lot of people that whenever they upgrade anything in their house, or anything they own really they will always post the old item on facebook/ebay/craigs list etc. One dude in particular I know has a lot of money and upgrades stuff all the time. He is always posting shit on facebook asking his "friends" if they want to buy it. Some things are as cheap as $10. I personally think thats pretty douchey. You should offer the shit up to your friends for free and if no one wants it then sell it or give it to Salvation Army or even Goodwill if its something they will take. I mean we arent talking about cars or something worth thousands here either.

I donate my cars too. We donate shitloads of stuff (probably 5-6 or so full van loads per year) partially because it's a pain in the ass to sell stuff on cl, partially because it's the only real charity donating we do and partially because the thrift store gives coupons when you donate.

Yeah diablo is loads more fun. Better variation in classes and tons of loot. Plus we don't have to worry about Cro hogging all that gold.

Yeah, I was bummed to see that. I'm not sure how they're going to be providing the games. I'd guess a completely new set of online games, separate from PS2 classics, which have been modified to include the trophies and such. If so that's pretty disappointing, tbh.

 
Yeah big bummer about the PS2 emulator not using discs and ps2 classics, but I'll still buy some shit if they bring over the right games for it.

Oh my God, don't tell me you guys are those people too? I was just about to post about that trainwreck of a thread on GAF and how entitled gamers make me want to get a new hobby.

I mean, what the fuck, do those games no longer work now or something? And why the heck would people expect a PS2 disc to work on a PS4? Or a ripped iso?

I just got home from a dentist appointment. They numbed the entire right side of my face so I'm talking funny. Not sure how long I have to wait until I can eat. I want this numbness to go away. ANTI hype

PS2 emulation has been around for a while and doesn't require much of a PC to run. If they're not doing discs and PS2 classics on the PS4 it's for business reasons, not because the machine can't power it.

 
Should have stayed home and played Diablo with the crew. Instead I went to the sports bar. Which is loaded with lions fans(where the fuck did they come from?) and the b-team waitress crew. Not the good end to my crappy day that I was hoping for.

But PS2 games with trophies!!

But so what? Then run those games on a PC! Why should Sony be obligated to make 15 year old games run on their latest greatest when they have sold the machine from day one as not backwards compatible?

I have a ton of PS2 games. If they worked on my PS4 it would be an awesome surprise. But I am in no way upset or disappointed that they don't. And I certainly won't act like Sony just slept with my girlfriend because they won't work.

Oh, I'll play them on PC. It's just nice to have the option of legitimacy without having to actually play the games on a PS2 and dealing with all the additional hassle of yet another physical system.

I mean, I'm not gonna cry about it. But when Microsoft just announced 100+ backwards compatible games that do work if you own the old version of them, it makes Sony's version pretty underwhelming.

Ms isn't offering original Xbox games with achievements, HD rendering, or any other improvements. Not that underwhelming, to me anyway.

I didn't know they'd announced more games. Just checked it out and the list is unfortunately very underwhelming with quite a few titles being carryovers from the Rare Replay disc. We'll see how well they keep up those BC efforts. They didn't seem to bother much with BC on the 360 and I doubt they'll change their tune on XB1.

I caught up on the thread and saw this. Awesome! The game is super basic but I loved playing it back in the day. I think I bought that right after Red Faction and Onimusha when I got my PS2. I'll rebuy it eventually.
