Well yeah I wouldn't want it to replace any of the 6, but maybe add one extra. There'd be way too much backlash if they replaced one of the slots with a PS2 game.
If they added them, they would call it a PS4 game because that is what you would play it on. Just like they call PSP games Vita games just because you can play it there.

I was just thinking something horrible. What if PS+ morphed into a PSNow and VR vehicle. You choose 2 rentals from a pool of 6 and at end of month the rental is done and you choose another 2. You get whatever VR they throw at you. Slap Slap!

Re-preordered The Division for the extra $5 cert since my glitched pre-order probably has 0% chance of being resuscitated
What did you spend your Gamestop coupon on? I only bought the $15 coupon but I'm not sure what I need at that price that I can't wait to drop to under $10.

I'm probably one of the most excited in here about the PS2 games though. I had a PS2, but it wasn't long after I got it that I got all into partying, drinking and getting high and shit. I had no time for games during that time in my life and missed a ton of good ones.

I forgot about it and didn't even end up ordering the coupons.

You can get Little Big Planet 3 for like $2 if it's somewhere close to you.

No, just PSP/PS1 titles.
PSP fighting games mostly.

I had a PS2 back in the day but never understood the overwhelming boner everyone had for it. The Gamecube loaded most multi platform games so much faster. I know like the PS1, the PS2 had a wealth of RPGs, but I'm guessing there are a lot of people who are into those games that never actually finished or played half of what they bought. A lot of the first party titles have already been remastered and I'm guessing the more obscure shit won't be on the PS4. I would like to see Sony get REZ at some point though.

The general consensus is that the PS2 has the biggest and best library of games of any other console, ever.

Now that I think of it, I think the only games I played to completion on mine were NBA Street, GoW 1 and 2, San Andreas, and Vice City. Played the shit out of Tekken Tag too.

I've heard that , I just know for me I got a lot more out of my PS3 then I ever did my PS2, PS4 probably already beat it too. I do feel like it's also kind of a moving target. PS3 had so many games including classics etc. There are always gems that get left behind though as well. My thought is the more the merrier.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I played more on the PSP than the PS2.

I got my ps2 kind of late due to life interrupting my gaming. It had a ton of games and as much as I liked my Gamecube, it just didn't have anything that looked as good at the end of the consoles lifespan that the PS2 had. Thanks to my Action Replay I was able to complete many many games.

As far as nostalgia for the games I don't really have any for PS2 because as you said the the good titles were remastered. The other ones are just too old for me to want to replay ( I loved the Legacy of Kain series and Castlevania LOI). Pretty much anything else has been done better in next gen anyway. I wasn't an rpg or jrpg fan but I can understand their interest in those games coming back.

Seeing San Andreas on that list makes me wonder why they bothered with the PS3 version. I'll just get it on PS4.

Damn annoyed I got san andreas for PS3 but I guess I'll pick up Rogue, Dark Cloud, and Vice city tomorrow. And maybe War of Monsters.

Those prices REALLY suck, especially since I already own the one I'd most want from that list (Rogue Galaxy) and it's $5 more than the $10 max I was willing to pay. I guess I can just wait for a sale.

then skip it. we can only hope they patch it as nicely as the devs did for Unity. but i will keep playing since i like it anyway and am invested. plus Avalanche clearly doesnt have the same pockets as Ubisoft does for Ass Creed.
Hype?

In all seriousness, Avalanche can just take fan fixes/mods on PC and use those as patches. Profit!

Vice City hyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyypppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I wonder what kind of nightmare those games are with all the music rights.

Did you see (or maybe you even posted it) that you can get a copy of Soldner X2 if you go play East Asia Soft's new game? Plus Lost Sea sounds like it could be kinda cool.

Tomorrow Children just for a few minutes would probably be pretty boring, but it looks like it could get pretty damn addictive if you sat down and had a long while to learn the mechanics and stuff.
Yeah I saw that and promptly forgot about it lol. Thanks for the reminder. We'll see how things are setup tomorrow and what I get to.

Tomorrow People is definitely a game you can't play a 10 minute demo and fall in love with. Any game with a decent sized tutorial does not demo well. You gotta be able to jump into the game immediately after maybe a minute or two or just seeing the controls.

If you guys hear about any cool PSX stuff feel free to PM me and I'll check it out. I'll try to keep up with the thread in case that's too much effort. Probably browse whole waiting in line.

Let's hope they give away a couple free games on PSN like last year!

I want PSI-OPS! Not sure who owns it, it was Midway I believe.
Psi-Ops was awesome. I'd play that again!

Like others have said the $10-15 price point sucks but it's what I expected for a new version with trophies. They better put those bitches on sale eventually. I'd nab them at half off.

Rogue Galaxy looks great in that. Mark of Kri looks alright, too, as does Dark Cloud.

You know, one thing to point out is that it does say PS2 classics don't work on the PS4. The PS2 Classics are modified version of the PS2 games that work on PS3, though; it may be that they call these new version for PS4 something different and that there's cross-buy support between the versions. It's unlikely, but at this point that's probably the best we can hope for.

I'm at a brewery tap room that has a fancy brat food truck and Twilight Zone pinball machine with updated color dot matrix display.

In the running for brewery tap room of the year.

If it werent for the load times and some framerate issues it would be all I wanted it to be. Even with the issues I keep playing it. I still love the massive world and blowing shit up in it. The wingsuit is fuck ing awesome. As much as I have complained its still fun and thats why we play games right? If they could patch it within a week and make it run better I would be in heaven. If not I may be done with it before they fix it. Oh well will see.

Where do you get all the money to go out drinking, play pinball and see all these concerts? Oh...thats right.

A video also shows off games called Fantavision and Arc the Lad going to be available down the line.

The "1080p" graphics look pretty decent on those games. Certainly better then their original glory. I remember all of those games too. I Of course I played the shit out of TM Black. The original Twisted Metal was mind blowing on PS1 and this one was even better. Are they going to have online play?

I have a Groupon for this place. And now a Mac & cheese stuffed brat in my mouth.

MicrosoftStore.com is apparently going to have a bunch of games for 50% off on 12/6, including JC3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and BLOPS 3: https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/351950-microsoftstorecom-50-off-select-games-on-1206-jc3-rottr-cod-blops3/
Up to 50% off. Which means most will be disappointing. Maybe something decent with the $10 off $25 codes from Golden Crisp.

I was going to post a slap gif but then I saw Therm's post with the boobies.

Also, it's Freebirds over Chipotle where I'm at.

Found a Lego Movie game PS4 and Dark Space 2 LE PS3 at the Target clearance at one of the local ones for 9.98 each. Saw a GOW Ascension LE with the statue for 23.98 but passed on it. Don't remember the statue being that great and I don't really have shelf space for it currently. 207-24-0545

The only good thing about freebirds is their monster burrito, which I always regret after finishing it in one go.

I was going to to go to Qdoba after it being mentioned in the thread but got some Dominios since all pizzas are half off whoop whoop.
