I was somewhat ambivalent toward it as the first couple of ending I ended up with are some of the crazier ones which upped the enjoyment, but some of the later ones I found weren't that interesting (there are 15 school mode endings + 1 final, extra length story). But the final, 5X-ish length tale which you can play to conclusion once you have seen all the other endings is excellent.

I think I'm done with the show until they implement an expansion mode. I feel like that'd bring a challenge to the franchise mode and make the game feel fresh again.
 
im gonna start it over and play it for myself also, but damn my son got through 2 whole episodes of tales from borderlands last night. He doesn't know how to read yet but he sure enjoys it.

If you are going for the plat you still need to power level aeris for her final limit break and you still need to get master summons and level 99 with a character etc. I will be using the 3x speed i guess, but gotta go for the random battles and god mode just sounds like it would be boring. why not just watch it on youtube if ya dont want to play it, but idk. i already had it on ps3 but trophies!

The pre-recorded videos don't look good at all, but live gameplay actually aged quite well. There's some blur but the character and world design seems to have aged rather well. Background textures vary on how good they look but the characters and enemies aren't bad at all.

Clearly inferior to the PS3 version visually. Blurry and poor colors in comparison. Characters look fine but the large flat areas are really rough to look at. Seems to be play very well, though--very responsive. If not for the PS3 version a fan of the game would have no complaints aside from the missing music that was posted about earlier, I think.

Vice City doesn't seem to have aged as well as San Andreas. Visuals are noticeably more blurry and textures quite a bit more simple. Characters look flat compared to San Andreas as well. Again seems to perform just fine and fewer songs were stripped compared to San Andreas. There's also no PS3 version so if you want to play Vice City this is your only choice.

This actually has aged well from a visuals standpoint. The monsters look quite decent. The size of the monsters means you don't have a lot of large flat surfaces like building walls; the scale of things means walls have windows and such everywhere so the backgrounds look pretty good compared to those of the other PS2 titles. There's still the blur from the other titles but it's not near as pronounced. I know nothing about the game but the camera and controls look pretty solid.

This one looks pretty rough--the worst of the 6 PS2 games, i think. A lot of blur and the background texture quality is an eyesore. Named characters generally aged quite well and look very good at 1080p as their design is more detailed. Nobody characters and enemies show more blur and poorer texture quality. The text bubbles and HUD (all 2d elements, really) all stand out because they look fantastic. I found the audio to be really annoying at times but I think that's just the way the game sounds. Game seems very responsive.

I think this one has aged the best visually. Mark of Kri would be the runner up. The style of the graphics just lends itself well to the 1080p treatment and the texture quality is generally high enough that the blur of the other games isn't as obvious. This is the only one I've actually played. Controls are pretty good--slightly sluggish but I think that's just a function of the original game. Camera doesn't lock on enemies which is frustrating and the camera in general isn't great when you're surrounded by enemies or in smaller buildings.

Keep in mind that the graphics all are suffering from Youtube tax. The Rogue Galaxy video I can compare directly to how it looked on my PS4--there's a definite downgrade on the game appearance. All of the games should look at least somewhat better during play than the YT videos suggest.

i have war of the monsters and it is campy and all but it sucked on ps2 so that's an odd choice but whatever

Is PSN down? Or maybe just the store? I tried to go back into the store app on vita and I get an error. But the PSN Status page reports no issues?
 
Reports of slowdown in Nuclear Throne on Vita, but I haven't really noticed anything significant yet. Maybe it happens later. I've only made it to 2-2 or 2-3 so far. Also some reports of crashes on PS4. Vlambeer is asking for bug reports on twitter.

 
Go....uh....Michigan State? Alabama and Oklahoma are the two college football programs I hate most, and I don't want Clemson to win because of how I ranted earlier this season about how they never win anything.

 after i beat a game i usually check it out on the site and it is great to get deeper and critical analysis etc

Godmode gives you unlimited limit, so it wouldn't be that hard to grind out limit levels.

It does seem better but it could be the power of suggestion. I don't really lose connection during remote play anymore. Still I tested PS now with a slim vita and it still sucked.

Now that you guys mention it, I think Remote Play works a lot better for me these days. I remember having problems with disconnects and image quality drops and I don't seem to have that any more. BUT I can't quite remember when it started working better. Might be unrelated to getting a Slim Vita and instead have to do with a Vita update? Or maybe it is improved WifI on the slim. Not sure.

Nuclear throne is pretty awesome on vita. Haven't had any slowdown either, but I've only ever gotten to 2-1 I think.

On a vaguely related note Ohio is boring as fuck to drive through.
 
I picked up a couple $5/$6 BluRays (Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Lego Movie) during black friday/etc. $5-$6 is the right price for a BluRay.

 
Platinum Trophy achieved. I'm earning real (paper) trophies! They have Sony Xperia phones at all the booths. You scan your badge with your name to get credit for checking in. The badges have NFC technology in them. Pretty cool. Yesterday was terrible though. The cloud was hours behind so you'd just have to trust that your badge scanned correctly to get credit. Most did but I gotta go back to a couple booths since they didn't work. Thankfully they're smaller ones. Not gonna wait in line for an hour for that shit.

I'm waiting in line at Destiny to play a Sparrow Race and get a card or 2 plus a t-shirt. That's different. Those are real, physical items ;) Hopefully I win!

I almost have a full deck again. Just need Destiny, VR and one random indie game. These aren't playing cards like last year. They're more like baseball cards. They are numbered 1-35 and then there are rare variants which means about 66 total. I'm mainly looking to have one of each number. Some variants are random and some you have to be the best player in a multiplayer match or your team has to win to get them. I think I have 3 of them.

I hope they don't make a big deal of these races in the game as sparrows are easily one of the worst and least fun vehicles to drive in a video game. They drive like they were made for flat desert driving not the uneven terrain in Destiny. One little rock sends you flying and the low gravity that you normally experience suddenly becomes strong as you attempt to straighten your vehicle or even turn it back over before the 5 second timer expires.
