Not 100% sure what to play next...might clean up some DLCs...AC4 and Mordor...never buy DLC but for those I did for some reason.

Always seems like a good idea at the time.

yeah i love daft punk since back in the day. i love how after kanye sampled them in his song then pharrell and then they got popular again for a bit. ptx just does covers but they are pretty awesome vocally

We got and put up our Xmas tree yesterday. We usually go and get it the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but didn't because of the Clemsux game being at noon. Today we put up all of the outside decorations, so my house is officially Xmas-upped.

Also took the kids to see the Peanuts movie. It was pretty decent. We saw a trailer for the Ratchet and Clank movie, and both of my kids were, 'What is that?'. Guess I should bust out the R&C Collection for them.

 
I was glad to see the committee dropped Oklahoma to the four seed.  I'm sure they remember what Clemsux did to them last year in the Orange Bowl.  It sure would be nice to see them return the favor.

that's not what i take from that, but i'll wait until they actually give more than one sentence worth of details. 7 is already a multi-part series. i wonder if they're going to remake the entire line of games. i know crisis core has been a big topic of discussion along with all the remake talk. since it's only available in physical form on psp.

My wife drug the box out of the storage room and dropped it in the floor where the tree is supposed to go before she left for Florida. I'm not taking the hint.

I hope Square-Enix clarifies this soon, because I don't necessarily equate "multi-part series" with "episodic" since the entire FFVII story isn't limited to just that one game.

I think you have to play for a while to unlock daily challenges, maybe an hour. You have until about 8p est tomorrow to do it though. The associated trophy is essentially impossible to get otherwise and as far as I know this is only the second time this has happened. So hop on it!

Should have played on PS4, worked fine for me. Only problem I realized was that the game was set on super hard. Explains why I had so much trouble with the stairs.

I watch them and never come away impressed. They do "just enough" to win. But that can be the mark of a good team too. In some ways it makes their record even more impressive. If this team had to go on the road week 1 of the playoffs I see them getting beat. But as it stands now, they get home field through the playoffs. That may be enough. Though I see them losing in the championship game.

Looking at the remaining schedule, its not that tough. Could easily finish up 16-0.

My girls family cut their tree down and had it up December first. I don't bother, I just enjoy the spirit elsewhere and escape it at home.

 
Finished Mass Effect. Went in blind, and Sentinel sounded like the most interesting play style choice. Also was a dick for most of the game, which felt weird the entire time.

In any event, playing as a Sentinel was a bad idea, since it doesn't have access to powers that the Adept and Engineer classes have. If I want the plat I'll have to play through 3 times anyway, but having to start a character again from level 1 is a bit of a bummer. Aside from that, the actual gameplay as a Sentinel was effective and the biotic powers especially were neat.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. Plot, story, and dialogue were mostly done well, and I found myself interested in them more than I thought I would, too, considering most of the discussion I see around the Mass Effect series is 'herp who did you bang derp'. The Reaper revelation was pretty stellar. Graphically, some of the textures were bad, especially on uncharted planets, but the character models weren't bad at all for an 8 year old game of its size.

9/11, will play again and probably get the plat. Also looking forward to promptly getting let down by Mass Effect 2, when I get around to playing it.

 
Damn, Big Ben and AB gave Bye Week a 6.9 point win over Simmias, when he was winning by 66.8 points coming into tonight's game.

I'm way fucking stupider than I was before reading those comments, especially on the PS Plus article.

I absolutely can't wait til all the "I'm done with Plus, I'm gonna let my subscription lapse" people actually let their subscription lapse.

Except its an empty threat anyway because they all know it's still a good deal for $40-$50 for all the games, online, cloud saves, etc.

Bottom line for whatever you paid for a year's worth of Plus or Live, you got your money's worth. Even if those entitled fuckshits in those comments sections think otherwise.
