Holy cow that was fast. cheat mode much or not really? You would have had to, right?

I remember grinding enemy all mastering and selling them to make tons of gil on ps1 but even that would take days...

my game timer quit at 99.99 and wouldn't go higher if i remember correctly

im playing it with my wife and kids and they are starting to get annoyed that I have to check every single item with my bionic eye and im like haha bewm haha yeah steele and we are only like 2 chapters in ;) its great tho. my son was yelling at me he loves that loaderbot so much
You can scan everything, but you very rarely have to use it. I don't think it was required even ten times in all five episodes.

Any tips on deadpool before I start playing the ps4 version? Trophies look fun and missable and the game seems like it'll be cool. I'm picking that and Hasbro family fun pack from ye olde library today.

If you play on Hard difficulty (required for the plat), the final level is a real b*tch to get through.

It took much less time to package my 360 "bundle" for Amazon than I thought, thanks to all of my save data/installs being on the 250GB hard drive that I'm keeping.

Hasbro has one stupid online trophy in Scrabble that requires boosting if you're interested (should only take a minute or two though as we have to send each other some emoji message in a MP match).

How bad are the multiplayer trophies in AC IV for someone who doesn't ever play online multiplayer? Thinking about starting it up after I wrap up Blood Dragon since I have 3 AC games in the backlog now.

You dont have to play the multiplayer, you can just perform the same takedowns on the same cycle of AI enemies for hours if youd rather do it without having fun.

Granted that's still not a great deal for a lot of these, but still.  :wall:

Lunar and Grandia are both coming to Steam:

I'd assume this is Lunar: Silver Star Story rather than the PSP version, but we'll see. L:SSS isn't on PSN at all so this would be decent for anybody who wants that version instead of the PSP remake. Grandia is on PSN though so I'm not sure if there's any reason to buy that one elsewhere. Price, perhaps.

Seems like a pretty big time-sink either way. I guess I'll see how much I want to keep playing after I finish the story and go from there.

Started TWD S1 last night. So far I'm enjoying it, but I'll probably only play an episode every few days. Seems like episodic was a good choice for these ones because I think I'd get bored just playing it straight through. Kinda like the show in that respect. I wanted to start TWD before moving on to The Wolf Among Us and Borderlands since it seems like the consensus around here is that those are much better.

I can't speak for Tales from the Borderlands yet, but TWAU is so much better than TWD.

Even on Normal it was a hot holy hooker.

It's a damn fun game though. Just pay attention to the missables. You can go back with chapter select, but sometimes it takes awhile to get there. And get ready to laugh and swear.

I'll more or less agree with this. On normal I had a tougher time with the fight right before the final boss, but then he was easy. On hard I got through that penultimate fight relatively easily. I spent a LONG time figuring out a way to beat that last asshole. Bear traps FTMFW!

They made it co-op and for the most part pretty fun in Unity first, then removed it in Rogue and Syndicate.
Rogue released simultaneously with Unity--they both came out on the same day, one past gen and one current. I do wonder why they removed its MP, though.

it's funny, I actually thought to myself "I wonder if therm is going to say something about rogue coming out at the same time as unity because it totally doesn't matter at all when they came out."

Okay Mr Specific Pants!

My apologies if that came out as Thermian. I meant to convey I thought they had finally made the multiplayer kind of fun, but then removed it altogether in the last couple of iterations. I know some people loved Wolfpack. I hated it just like I hate 99% of competitive MP. I do tend to really like co-op MP though.

Any of you nerds read Stephen King's Dark Tower saga?

Seems Idris Elba is in the running to play Roland.

Can't wait to see these on the big/little screen.

It does in the context of them removing the MP element. If Unity came out and nobody liked the MP so they removed it from the next two games that would make sense. Having Rogue and Unity come out the same day but one with MP and one without raises the question of why they took it out of Rogue. I can't imagine it would have been hardly any work to leave it in since Rogue is a Black Flag clone and BF had MP.

I got it. I skipped Unity since it still had MP and I just wanted to say something stupid about no MP in Syndicate. Plus...HYPE.

Liked for Idris Elba. Still haven't gotten around to reading Dark Tower.
I'll admit, I don't know any of his work. I'm open to both an unknown and a well known dude here. I know Javier Bardem was in the running at one point.

And seems Matthew McConahuey might play Randall Flagg, which means nothing to you since you haven't read them.

I've read the first four. The 6-year gap between 4 and 5 was long enough that I never bothered going further.

Idris Elba would be a pretty awesome Roland. When they first started talking about making movies for those years ago a friend and I had a discussion about casting. Ben Foster fits my mental image of Eddie perfectly, too, though I've no idea if he's in the running for that character. No real current ideas on casting for the other two, though.

I was a huge King fan back in the day and I always wanted to read Dark Tower, but at the time it was not finished. I just couldn't get myself to start on it without knowing for sure if he would ever finish it. Now I'll just hope they all get adapted for movies so I can eventually watch them while playing a Vita game :)

I guess you missed my prior posts about reading and books. I wasnt kidding. I really dont read any books. And this post captures one of the main reasons why. Seems like such a waste of time to spend hours and hours reading books when you can watch the same thing on the TV in 2-3 hours. yeah yeah, details.
