My point still stands as well. Knowing Zimm isn't getting a PS4 anytime soon I thought recommending the GOTY PS3 price drop would be more realistic. Zimm would buy a box of lint if it's on sale, you have to tell him to wait for the BOX of Lint GOTY or he will cave in.

Well...it doesn't disprove the statement about them not posting the sale on Christmas Day, but your opening statement made it clear you thought Fridays were the only possibility for one to start which means this Friday, Christmas, or Jan 1st. Last year shows that they can start the sale whenever they want.

 
I think starting a flash sale on Christmas eve is a great idea. Seems like PSN codes would be a pretty popular stocking stuffer and that would give people incentive to go ahead and spend them.

All I said was they wouldn't post the sale on Christmas Day or the next day. That's like me saying "This apple isn't green," and you saying "No, but this one is, so you're wrong!"

 
Amazon's prices constantly fluctuate. That's how they work. Put some stuff in your cart and then save them for later and you'll get notified every time you go to your cart about price changes to items saved for later or in your cart.

 
I'm ready for our company Christmas party tomorrow. I have a chance to win anywhere from $10 to $250, and will get a gift that can be anything from a coffee maker to a 40" TV. And the food is always great.

 
i know twin peaks has the deadly premonitions connection, but i tried watching it on amazon prime and just couldn't get into it. Im supposed to love david lynch and all but im more into this red oaks show at the moment.

you guys got me all up on this star wars thing and none of my kids have watched it so i think ill watch it with them later also. iv got jurassic world from redbox due back tonight tho so i gotta watch that first.

There's plenty of Jurassic Park tie-in in Jurassic World. They should at least watch the first movie if they haven't already.

 
they have watched all the jurassic parks, even the bad ones. i only liked the first one, goldblum!

yeah it sucks that blops 3 and gta online on ps3 have gameplay features removed (or in gtav's case, they no longer update it, so no vip mode on ps3)

also iv been playing dont starve a bunch lately. that game is so hard and i havnt even started adventure mode. so much to learn. these games and minecraft/terraria etc have so much depth hidden in them

I have fond memories of seeing Ep V and VI in the theaters, along with having the toys and all the promo cups that went along with.

(I remember having Burger King commerative glasses. Made from real glass! To drink from!)

But the movies haven't aged that well. I was trying to get the kids to watch A New Hope (who calls it that?) and the beginning of the movie is so slow and drags on that it was hard to keep them interested.

How is the beginning of A New Hope slow? I watched it last night. It starts with Vader invading Leia's ship, people and Stormtroopers dying, the Princess giving R2 the Death Star plans, them jettisoning from the ship, a quick argument over which way to go like two married people, the Jawas capturing them both, some weird robots (one of which looks like a beta of Wall E), then a quick introduction to Luke and how bored he is at home, they buy the robots, R5D4 blowing up so R2 gets picked instead, Luke seeing "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope", Vader capturing Leia to find the plans, R2 running off to find Obi-Wan, foreshadowing about Owen being afraid Luke would end up like Anakin, Luke and 3PO going after R2, Sand People showing up and nearly killing Luke, Obi-Wan chasing them off, the introduction to the Force and the first lightsaber, finding the Jawas have been killed, finding his Uncle and Aunt have been killed, and Luke deciding to go to Mos Eisley with Obi-Wan where it gets really fun. That's a shit ton lot of things going on in like the first half hour.

I almost want to pick up the prequels so I can watch in machete order. Might have to wait a few months for the hype to die down and try to rent them from the library or something.

Maybe slow for young kids? There's definitely a lot going on if you're old enough to understand most of it, but kids might want more pew pew and less... story?

I don't know, my parents had me star wars trained before 6.

Absolutley if you havent played it. I am thinking of buying it if I find it that cheap and I already beat the PS3 version. I really enjoyed it. But didnt you just say you thought the new one on X1 was just okay? If so, it wont blow your mind since they are similar.
