Move.I don't think any stores within a 50 mile radius of me have a Porter for me to even try. Sigh.
I can vouch for this. This is gold (some spoilers on the account if you haven't seen Star Wars 7 yet)

#I can vouch for this.
But again, on a vintage vinyl from the time the movie came out only.
The best representation of the style that is readily available and it is not even close.Grabbed a sixer of this last night
There is not a single decent beer store in Valdosta? A friend commutes to LaGrange and there is even a decent store there. Maybe that is close enough to Atlanta that it gets some bleed over. I know you could find good stuff in Savannah, but Jacksonville might even be closer for you.I don't think any stores within a 50 mile radius of me have a Porter for me to even try. Sigh.
It seems to depend on who you ask, but I believe a stout is basically a stronger heavier porter. Apparently they use to be called a "stout porter".Based on what I've read though porters seem to be similar to stouts. Is that correct?
Stouts are heavier, from what I've had. Porters have a bit of a range and can get close to a stout, but generally don't have that same super strong flavor. I can drink porters but I've never enjoyed a stout.Based on what I've read though porters seem to be similar to stouts. Is that correct?
The lines have gotten blurred. Once you get into oatmeal porters where the body on them is thicker like a stout they it gets really hard to differentiate the two. Typically stouts use only roasted and dark malts where porters may have an initial pale malt base with additions of those to make them darker and slightly thicker than a pale malt based beer.Based on what I've read though porters seem to be similar to stouts. Looks like there are 3 options in Valdosta worth checking (the 3rd in the list is a bar). There is not a single decent beer store in Valdosta? Yeah, Valdosta is where I was able to find Founders Breakfast Stout. I've got to take some time when I have a day off and browse a few of them and just see what they have. I haven't really had the time to do that. I'm gonna get my gf to take a good glance over what they have at the store when she grabs the Founders for me today. The best representation of the style that is readily available and it is not even close.

Yeah Warehouse is where the gf is stopping for me today. Five Points didn't have Founders even though Founders site said they did. They may have been sold out though. The lines have gotten blurred. I can be hit or miss on porters since when I drink a dark beer I want it to be viscous. If I want a thin easy drinker, Ill have an IPA. Any oatmeal porter though is an immediate try it at least once. Oatmeal stouts are usually heaven on earth for me

I like blackstone st charles porter a little better I think, but yea the founders is good. The best representation of the style that is readily available and it is not even close.
Unless money is super tight, tell her to get you a 6 pack of the Porter. If they have it still, a 4 pack of Backwoods Bastard too (it will probably be the most expensive). If you have to pick one go with the Backwoods. It is a seasonal and Porter is year round.Yeah Warehouse is where the gf is stopping for me today. Backwoods is out of stock at my beer place, that shit is hella good though.Unless money is super tight, tell her to get you a 6 pack of the Porter. I bought half a case after thinking I struck out. I was very very happy about that. Places like that are where it can hang around.Backwoods is out of stock at my beer place, that shit is hella good though.
Liked for Beatles on Spotify, not them sucking.http://www.engadget.com/2015/12/23/the-beatles-streaming-christmas-eve/
Beatles coming to streaming.
They suck, but I think some of you people like them?
Might run over to Blackstone for lunch or something tomorrow. Their entrees aren't my favorite but I do like their pretzels and ordering beer flights.I like blackstone st charles porter a little better I think, but yea the founders is good.
It sounds like you may have had a stroke, please consult a doctor.I had a very confusing morning. I was trying to decide which Vita game to bring to work and noticed that my Akiba's Trip case was still wrapped. I have very clear memories of starting the game. I checked my trophy list and there's no record of it. I don't own it on the store. I can't find any other copies of the game anywhere. Did I just watch a gameplay video on YT? And if so...do I really need to play games when I could watch them and not know the difference?k

Aint ate there in years, but their beers are all pretty solid, can get them just about anywhere in the area.Might run over to Blackstone for lunch or something tomorrow. Their entrees aren't my favorite but I do like their pretzels and ordering beer flights.

Yeah money is a little tight right now with the holidays and lack of hours at work, but I'll get her to check the price on it anyway. The Breakfast Stout is only $10 a four pack so I should be able to grab Backwoods if they have it.Backwoods is out of stock at my beer place, that shit is hella good though.
Dunno.Where is this flash sale Derek promised me?! What a jerk.
They're about 10 minutes from the house. Might check out one of the other local breweries, not sure. There's quite a few around here.Aint ate there in years, but their beers are all pretty solid, can get them just about anywhere in the area.
FYI, it is probably closer to $20 a 4 pack than it is to $10. The Porter is probably around $10 for a 6 pack. The comments are filled with "Colin was right" "#ColinWasRight" etc.UC4 has been bumped to 4/26.

liked for verbal fellatio lolThe comments are filled with "Colin was right" "#ColinWasRight" etc.
I don't understand the verbal fellatio constantly given to Colin and Greg by their fans. Their nut-hugging fanboys make me resent them despite the fact that I really do like Greg and kinda like Colin.
Turtle Anarchy is good if you have never tried them, used to be in Franklin but I think they moved. They're about 10 minutes from the house. Might check out one of the other local breweries, not sure. There's quite a few around here.
I liked it too. So I stole it from Gator from a conversation we had earlier today.liked for verbal fellatio lol
Interesting theory on Star Wars 7 that makes a lot of sense...
(heavy major spoilers at the link and below obviously)

Basically that Kylo Ren chose to go to the Dark Side so he could help the Light Side kill Snoke. He has to turn away from his family and kill someone he loves to fully embrace being a Sith. And in doing this he can join with Rey (Light & Dark) and bring balance to the force like his grandfather was prophesied to do 60 years ago. And Han knew this, which is why he said he'd do whatever he could to help when they met.
Anyway, read the link for the whole explanation.

Star Wars 7 Stuff:But if that were true, then 7 isn't absolutely identical to 4 like everyone in here thinks it is. So obviously it's wrong.
Maybe the universe is telling me I should work more because I missed it due to doing the first few minutes of work today.lol munkyed the spoiler tag
I generally just don't pay attention to their fans. Most of the comments/commentors are stupid but that's just like the rest of the internet. The guys themselves seem pretty cool. I try to listen to the live twitch show if nothing else is going on during the week, and the PS podcast is pretty good, but fanboys are almost always annoying. The comments are filled with "Colin was right" "#ColinWasRight" etc.

It's actually more of a joke than anything since he's wrong about 90% of the time. The comments are filled with "Colin was right" "#ColinWasRight" etc.
