PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Their first cd took me 10 years to find and luckily picked it up from Amazon. I got you covered on all their albums. They're great for a 3 piece band and are the nicest guys.

I still got more music to rip and then on Xmas my brother and his wife brought me 100+ CDs and tell me they don't buy CDs anymore and gave me their collection so I got that still.

So far for helping grow music collections I got Simmias, Zimm, CrazyDiamond. Did I miss anybody?
Youre awesome man. I need to get back to ripping my stuff, and will share my collection as well if we figure out the best way to do it.

You guys got any advice on quicker ways to find convoys in Rogue? The trophy guide's method didn't work very well for me. Traveled to those places over and over and only found one convoy.

I never had any issue with them. It seemed like every time I looked at the map there was a convoy. If you see multiple ships together go check it out. That particular icon is not always there unless you are close enough to the group of ships. I would not bother trying to farm them. Just pay attention when you are already traveling during normal play.

Yeah I was just gonna try to get some of them out of the way while I still needed resources to upgrade the Morrigan. All I need to finish that is a shit-load of metal, and the last convoy I found had over 300 units. Figured it could be a kill two birds with one stone type deal but maybe not.

The bar thing never worked for me. I just kept sailing around. I stupidly waited until I was done with everything else to start looking for consoles because I thought going to the bars would trigger a convoy to appear somewhere. Nope.

I was thinking of picking up a good size HD and loading it with music. Then we can send it to the next person to add and so on. I know between you and I we have lots so I'm assuming Zimm and Simmias can add some stuff we might be missing. We can figure out the best way to do this as we get closer to finishing.

2016 the year music was reborn!

Anybody else interested?

Yea I have an external drive I've been putting mine on. 1 or 2 tb. I've been ripping through iTunes lossless FLAC or whatever the best one is.

So I have 169 digital games backlogged across all platforms that I actually bought. PS+ adds another 174 though I have to go through that list as there's a number I'm sure I'll never play.  :wall:

I'm not making FLAC files but ripping them so the sound is clear. I noticed a few albums didn't sound good so I need to re-rip them. FLAC files are usually huge compared to MP3 so hopefully you don't run out of space with that monster music collection.

What a loser!

the waypoint thing in batman is a little weird. basically you can always set your waypoint to a side mission group, but it won't lead you anywhere unless you've 'discovered' or have been given the next potential location.

ex. firefighters - you rescue one. after that you set waypoint to that set of side missions and no marker. you're flying around and you hear/see a firefighter to rescue - you can then come back to him later by setting the waypoint to the firefighter side missions.
Thanks, ok that's sort of what I figured. It makes sense in a real world sort of a way but for a game it's kind of annoying...mainly because I don't have the time to fly around aimlessly searching for the next dude or place to get to. I think I'd be more inclined to do the sides if I could just see them on the map and get to it and do it. I'm having fun though so maybe I'll get some more sides in anyway.

Screenshots are pretty funny.

FLAC files are large but with 1TB and up portable Hard drives it's do-able. I've slowed down tremendously on the digital hording since I became a member of spotify. Hopefully I won't regret that someday. Lol.

Thanks to you and Zimm for the bands, checking em out now.

If you like Frank Jordan I can get you set up with all their albums. They have 3 you can find easily but the first and last album are really tough to find.

those ffix screenshots look like someone is just putting stickers on magazine pictures or something.
Yeah. The 2D background look okay on something like Vita, but stretched to a PC screen they're just hideous. Looks like they improved the look of the 3D characters a bit but overall the game is just super ugly. I'm surprised they didn't do the mobile transformation they did for some of the other FF games; that probably would have ended up looking a ton better than the mess they're putting out.

Also I download in FLAC but don't keep it. I just convert to AAC. I did a ABV test with foobar2000 to find a quality level where I couldn't tell the difference between FLAC and the AAC and now I just convert everything at that setting. I like the idea of having lossless audio for everything but it just takes up too much space on my phone. Plus the converted files have all the metadata built in as well as cover images, whereas single-file FLAC albums are a lot less spiffy.

Holy competitive meat boy ripoff Batman!
Yeah I'm a bit surprised at the idea of a competitive precision platformer. I guess it makes sense but it would never have occurred to me as something that might be fun. I expect you'd end up with one serious gamer who kicks ass and the other guy would just die right away over and over again.

Looking through my ps3 download list I see so much that I really -should- play....

Resonance of Fate

Arkham Origins

Ratchet & Clank: Nexus

Dragon Age: Inquisition

One Piece Pirate Warriors

Dishonored

And those are just the things I chose to pay for as opposed to Plus titles. Which means there's sort of an obligatoin there. Why buy it if you're not going to play it? I ask myself.

And the other stuff I bought that I wonder why I bought at all. LOTR: War in the North. Max Payne 3. Vandal Hearts. ?

6 games.  12 months.

Not likely. At some point I'll just need to cut ties and let it go. If I could get the kid to go to sleep before 11, I'd have more time in the evenings to play but that would also cut into my sleep in the morning.

DA:I and Dishonored are both on PS4. Let the PS3 versions go.

So while looking over all the download list stuff, I noticed that the Patton game is showing as downloadable on PS3 and Vita. It isn't supposed to cross-buy based on looking at the store page. Even more interesting, using the script, it is not showing as PS3.
Every Vita game says that it's available for the vita and PS3, it just means you can download it to the PS3 to transfer to the vita.

edit: backlog'd

Honest question since I'm debating it with a friend. Does anyone give a royal shit about Avatar anymore? I know I don't. He seems upset that Star Wars is beating it at the box office. I'm like good riddance.

I honestly don't understand how Avatar made so much money. It doesn't seem like the kind of movie I'd want to rewatch.

Disclaimer: I've never watched Avatar. It always looked boring/uninteresting to me.

Confession: I've never seen Avatar. Not really that interested in it either, but I suppose I'll see it some day.
It's nothing special. It didn't even have particularly good 3D effects. The next one I saw after that was Harold & Kumar Christmas and its 3D was much better.
