PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Yeah shouldnt people that create gifs and cartoons about movies that just came out have their social media accounts suspended for a year?  I mean why even do that?  the only reason you do it is to be an ass and spoil shit for others.

Never assume something is common knowledge when talking about stories in movies.

Our friend is offering to sell us her 2006 Chrysler Town and Country with 120k miles for $2800. Gonna take a look and a drive and check the value but that sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.

You spoiled Just Cause 3 for me when you bounced off the ground repeatedly doing those wingsuit challenges.

Sony has said that the VR headset will cost about the same as a PS4, so I'm somewhat skeptical that leaked price is right. Of course if it turns out to be, that's madness.

At least you'll have it paid off in full and not be like the ex hiding from the repo man.

Maybe that's why it's popular? It used to be releveant?

I know people post Calvin and Hobbes comics online and they're always terrible. Just dreadfully unfunny to me.
Your face is dreadfully funny.

Some of the strips that get shared aren't the best but C&H wasn't a comic that was intended to be taken out of context. It's far better if you read sequentially as there's a ton of callbacks to earlier bits. Without those a lot of the humor is lost.

A friend tells me you can continue a streak in Amplitude. It requires switching tracks immediately after the last note in a track sequence. I thought I was doing that, but I guess not fast enough? Going to try some more tonight.
I'm new to the game, too, but I think I have it figured out. As you are finishing up a sequence, look over at the other sequences available to jump to. The first note you need to hit in that sequence (and continue the streak) should be white and glowy. As you successfully do that you're overall multiplier increases up to 4. I think that combines with a multiplier within the sequence, but I'm not sure. My eyes are generally too focused on other stuff to even know what's going on with scoring. The game is pretty addictive. Makes me want to try the PS2 games which apparently had a much better soundtrack.

Yeah, we're aiming to get something in that price range since it won't be used much and I would rather repair one than have a monthly payment right now. Of course anything could happen but as long as the tranny and the engine is in good shape I think it's the right way to go for us.

I took a Social & Political Philosophy class in college so I know that the cartoon is named after philosophers, otherwise I would have never really known or cared to know. Stuff like that could be considered timeless and the people really into it no doubt will get hung up in the meaning too much. For the rest it might as well be Doonesbury.

remind me - Life is Strange. Actually terrible or hyperbole terrible?
Presumably not terrible, but that first chapter really leaves a bad first impression. At least the opening. Really heavy on the teenage angst/insecurity nonsense. I turned it off after about half an hour and haven't gone back yet, but I will eventually since it presumably gets good.

I've heard the first chapter is by far the worst.

I hope nobody here spoils the movie Titanic.
Speaking of ships and bad things that happen, did any of you see that bloody elevator clip from a cruise ship some guy shot with his phone? He said it was like a sheet of blood running down the elevator door.

You know people were mad after the movie and wanted the old woman IRL to explain why she let him drown, right?
The old woman from the beginning? I've only seen the beginning and got bored at the time and turned it off. I knew the ship sunk so I didn't see the point in watching it.

This elevator George?

Yes he did describe it as a scene out of the Shining, although I believe they spelled it Shinning in the write up

just like the Simpsons episode with groundskeeper Willie.

Now post the video from the cruise ship and lets compare. I'm sure it won't be as cool or bloody.

Actual terrible. People giving it GOTY nods are young and inexperienced at life and think this is an "important" game dealing with "important" issues. It's not. It's drivel. It's like playing a "very special episode" of an 80s sitcom.

I enjoyed Titanic as a movie though. I really liked Leo's character/performance in it as I've always liked him since basketball diaries.

I actually liked it too. Leo is probably the greatest actor of our time. The dude is just phenomenal at what he does and he gets all the ass he wants and supposedly has a frontlog size dick too. What a lucky bastard.

I know I'm hitting the first note, but the streak count resets every time I switch tracks. At least I thought so. I'll get a longest streak of, say 5. Or does that mean 5 sequences in a row? Maybe that's what it is? There's some numbers that pop up as you hit notes and those reset when you move to a new track, which made me think the streak has ended.

this is not happening, not in real life

I definitely don't want to wake up in the morning and then keep myself standing up to play video games. if you buy a ps4 + an $800 headset for your kid you're rich and a moron. my 18 year old has cracked the screen on her phone 17 times in the past 3 months.

WHO IS THE TARGET MARKET FOR THIS VR STUFF? WHAT AM I MISSING?
That looks like some weird fetish shit you see on the Internet.

Do you know what's fucking disgusting?

When you go to McDonalds for breakfast and order a sausage McMuffin (McDonalds eggs are nasty) to get home and see a long black hair all over it.

True story from yesterday.

Like I said, I'm pretty sure there are two multipliers. Your "outer" multiplier for doing consecutive sequences caps out at 4 and stacks with the "inner" multiplier for hitting notes in a sequence. Your "inner" multiplier starts over with each new sequence. So when you have no multiplier at all (inner/outer), you'll get one point for the first note in a sequence, two for the second, 4 for the third... If your "outer" multiplier is at 4 you'll get 4 points for the first note, 8 for the second 16 for the third, etc.

I am sure what I just wrote makes no sense to anyone but me.
