This one I'm not setting up, my VP is. I'm just caught in the middle of trying to arrange things I'm not in charge of.

Generally we do pot lucks because we're state funded and have to be super careful about how money is spent, so luncheons have to have really good reasons to happen for the college to pay for it (aka not birthdays)

I fall asleep in meetings all the time. We have too many that don't involve me at all or only involve me for part of the time. I can't just sit and listen to other people talk without nodding off. I don't need to be there for a long conversation about how different processes should be handled--figure that shit out, tell me what you want the program to do, then fuck off.

Happy isn't the right word, but yes they've brought on their issues themselves. And their NX isn't going to be out for another 11 months. There is literally 11 months of nothing going on for the WiiU, this fiscal year is going to be a disaster for them. Are there any major games scheduled to come out?

I do appreciate the suggestions. My initial post was more of a "fuck this fucking sucks" venting post more than a looking for help post. But seriously, I've looked at it so many different ways and there's really nothing I can do beside just stop holding them, which will piss everyone off.

I'm considering writing off the luncheons and just getting cakes/whatever desserts for whoever the birthday person is.

Depends on what you mean by "major"--I'm only aware of Pokemon Sun & Moon on 3DS and three Wii U games (Mario & Sonic Olympic Games 2016 whatever it's called, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (J-pop RPG, you wouldn't like it), and Paper Mario: Color Splash (aka Sticker Star 2 aka it'll probably suck)).

I knew you didnt want suggestions but here is one anyway.

Seriously I would just tell them to all come to an agreement on what they want because I am open to anything. Put it on them to come to an agreement and when they cant you tell them they cant have luncheons since you cant order from a different place for each person.

I am currently waiting on my team to tell me when and where they want to go for a team dinner. I am open to literally anything so I tell them its up to them to agree since they all are so opinionated when it comes to free food.

There's nothing huge in the pipeline for nintendo right now other than pokemon. Pokemon will sell well, but everything else will likely be mediocre at best. I want the fire emblem persona thing, but there's really not enough to carry them through another year without massive losses. Unless they're hiding something, which at this point, I really doubt. They've put out new games in just about every franchise that's not Zelda or Metroid in the last couple years, and we already know what they're doing to Zelda. As of right now their stance on metroid is that that shit looking 3DS game is totally enough to cater to Metroid fans, so who knows if they're actually doing a real thing with the franchise.

Sun and Moon will sell like crazy because people hate when franchises just rehash the same gampelay over and over, except when its Pokemon.

The rest of that list though, holy shit. That would be a disappointing month for PS4 and X1, let alone that being about all there is for their whole year. I'm sure they'll sneak a random mario spinoff in there somewhere that might keep them floating a bit.

In happier news, my Twilight Princess swapout worked perfectly. Dude was super cool and just walked me over from one counter to the other for me to pick up the game and trade it back in.

Thanks for the Vid. I guess it's 5-4 that I'm stuck on. And it's not that I can't figure the puzzle out, it's that I can't get the timing right for one of the jumps, device throw, switch activate. Ugh. I really like the game too.

That didn't review that great and sold poorly in Japan. Plus it's on Wii U so I can't see it doing all that well here even if it were a great game.

Everything I've seen says the game was pretty good. It ended up with like a 34/40 in famitsu. Saw that it didn't sell all that great, but I'm still interested in it.

Yeah, my daughter wants to see it as well. Thanks to non-stop Nickeloden ads. We'll probably go next weekend. She sits fine through animated films, but could not stay still and focused during Force Awakens. (understandable, since it was "new" to her)

 
I'm 100% diigital for all my media, except books. Used books are the only thing you can get a decent trade value for, and most used book stores sell their stock for 50% off the cover price.

Worth full price. Takes a minute to figure out, but it is really fun/addictive. It's rogue-like (lite) in that you start with nothing and find items/weapons to make you stronger in a run. But once you beat a dungeon you're able to start from the beginning of the next one after dying (there is a mode where you have to do it all in one life). There are also diamonds that you can use to unlock permanent unlocks (start with more hearts) and other weapons/items to appear in the game.

Edit: Still have to beat the last Zone. It get's tough, but doable. Made it to the final boss a few times.
