PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'm sure that's not stackable with the 25% off they run seemingly every week, right?
Doesn't seem to be. Also I need to pay more attention as I haven't seen thiese 25% off sales. I need to get me the new Brewers hat with the darker blue and gold ball & glove logo in the low profile edition.

The more controlled we want to make things the harder it is to get work done.  No one knows what they are doing.

fuck work.

which need for speed? the one from last year or the one from the year before...Rivals? I liked both a lot. I keep waiting for the last one to go really cheap so I can buy it again and play the DLC that came out later.

I downloaded the demo for The Crew Wild Run and as expected it blows. Then Mild said the same about Driveclub. I wish they had given us the free version they promised so I could at least try it out. I wont pay the $15 for it now that Mild says its no good.

Looks like the John Kuhn era in Green Bay is over.  He inspired one of my favorite Packers nerd shirts to wear

Germany made so much renewable energy on Sunday that the price for electricity went negative and people were paid to use it for a few hours:

If I'm understand it right, this is because while they could shut off gas power plants quickly once renewable sources covered 100% of power requirements, they can't shut off nuclear and coal plants that fast, so they overproduced. Or something like that.

Yeah I saw that list and some of those are kind of ridiculous. Seems like the best chance is going to be when it first releases before the meta stabilizes.
I dunno, a lot of those sound like fun little goals to shoot for with each character. Seems like good incentive to stick with a character for awhile until you pull that thing off, then move on to the next. I doubt I would do that, but if you plan on playing the game a lot anyways those seem like cool challenges to go for (even if a few seem like you would need the stars to align just right to do).

I never said it wouldn't be fun. I meant to say that a few of those you have to be ridiculously lucky.

Hopefully there's not a way to boost them.

I need more hours in my day. I've had Uncharted 4 for 2 days now and I've yet to play it. Such crap! Hopefully I can get in some tonight.

I love dopey shit like that. Except ones where it would be nearly impossible to do legit like those Arkham Origins trophies. I wish dead star would've had class specific trophies instead of the lame 'kill 100' goals.

The best trophies are those time based ones like "play the game at 11:11pm" or "beat X at midnight".  Then everyone just changes their PS4 clocks manually to unlock the trophy.  So dumb.

Reese's just announced that they will be releasing Peanut Butter Cups with Reese's Pieces in them starting in July.

I've had an idea for a candy where they take a reeses peanut butter cup, and instead of just peanut butter in the middle, they mix some reeses pieces in there. That would be good I bet.

Do you even read the thread? Your lack of awareness is hitting me right in the feels.
It was only a rumor yesterday. I relayed the actual announcement that verified it. I liked the crunchy peanut butter cups (don't know if they still make them) so the texture isn't going to be an issue for me.

Also, I skipped most of the thread yesterday due to travelling and being tired when I got home.

This is the most thermish response to therm I've ever seen

Pulled a Wren and preordered Doom. Looks too cool to not preorder. With the $10GC and locked in TIV at Amazon already, CAG math puts it at a $3.58 rental.

Uncharted 4 thoughts:

  • Graphically this game is gorgeous.  Really dig the locales they chose (especially Scotland)
  • Starts out a bit slow but honestly it needed to.  It wouldnt have made sense to just start with Drake on another treasure hunt already.  Once it hits like chapter 8 I thought it picked up pretty well.
  • Sam was kind of a miss for me as a character.  I like Troy Baker but he just seemed very out of place in this one.
  • Way too many flashback chapters
  • Elena becoming a badass was pretty fun considering how terrible she was in UC1
  • I liked that there was no stupid supernatural enemy shit
  • Also I am really glad I didnt follow a trophy guide for the first run as it really would detract from the experience.  You need multiple playthroughs for the plat anyway so take it slow and enjoy the ride! (this means you Vig)
  • Ending surprised me with everybody being pretty happy.  I thought for sure Sam or Elena would die.
  • Didn't like how much they borrowed from TLOU with the traversal (crates especially) and the stealth parts which do not flow in Uncharted at all.
  • First playthrough stats:  17 hours, 778 enemies killed
  • Anyone else get Assassins Creed flashbacks with the stealth kill enemies from grass bits?
  • Villains were pretty stupid.  Not a fan of Rafe at all.
  • Swordfight at the end was terrible.  To take an adventure shooter like that and throw in a stupid Melee QTE at the end has to be one of the stupider decisions I've seen in a long time.

Overall its a solid end to the series and I'll definitely go back for more in UC4 but I hope they leave it behind.  No Uncharted reboots down the road, please.

I did the same, today. I had a cert. getting ready to expire, so I decided why the hell not.

Doom brings back memories of long nights wasted in the old engineering computer lab playing Doom II, Descent, Warcraft and Command & Conquer on the network.
