Yeah, well I can get the two school age kids in bed by 9 or 9:30 usually. The 4 year old is the one who wants to stay up all night. Of course, that means she sleeps in later so there's always a tradeoff.

 
So Shadwen is a stealth escort game. That's exactly what everbody's been wanting to play, right?

Escort mechanics are a bit different. Escort appears to be immortal and undetectable, but moves around based on you opening up the path for her to advance. If you distract or kill guards she'll run past to the next point, then you have a new area to manage to get her to progress further. Not quite as bad as typical escort missions, I suppose.

People probably still won't go. Sports fans in Atlanta are some of the worst.

 
If anyone wants to watch the latest episode of CAG Nerd Drama, check out the last page of the Amazon Warehouse Deals thread.  There are a couple of people yelling at people buying a bunch of $.20-$1.00 old sports games (GC, PS1, PS2) to use as extra cases and throwing the games away.

When only a small section of seats allow you to get tickets for the game without paying the ridiculous personal seat license the concessions should be cheap.

With Atlanta being such a terrible pro sports town, I will wait to see if that works out for them or not.

If they would put the stadiums where people who might attend actually live, I think things would be different. Before someone asks, no, the baseball stadium move does not accomplish that. Closer but getting there might actually be worse.

Yeah that's fucking hilarious. The games are selling for $0.21. I don't get why Amazon would even sell them, doesn't seem like they'd make any sort of profit on that after shipping. They're fucking worthless games, who cares if people buy them and throw the game away.

Related, I bought 5 copies of some Madden game on PS2 for the extra cases.

 
As much as the Orioles have screwed up things over the last 20 years, one thing they get right is allowing outside food into the stadium. I don't know of any other professional sports team that does that.

 
seriously if anything you're helping the landfill by finding a use for the cases instead of those going in the landfill too when awd eventually trashes all of these games no one will ever buy.  people are dopey.

I don't see a way it doesn't end up with 41 being backed up for miles, 75 being backed up for miles, and 285 being backed up for miles during rush hour at a minimum.

Yeah, that's great. I always bring a bag of peanuts and sometimes other munchies. But don't try to take in cans of soda - they will confiscate them (plastic bottles are ok). Not sure why.

I think the Brewers allow you to bring bags of peanuts and bottles of water into Miller Park. Maybe some other munchies too, but I'm not sure.

I don't know if they're actually harder than mvc3, but the combo trials in skullgirls definitely require a lot of patience. I've only managed to finish two characters out of 14 so far.

Microsoft is releasing old gamertags that weren't migrated from the OG Xbox to 360 or XB1. Since Xbox Live isn't even available on those old Xbox games, they'll be up for grabs.

Debating changing mine. Do I try to get some actual form of "Z Saber" without the goofy but unfortunately necessary 5, or leave it as is so I can keep hearing "Z Five-aber" that I've heard thousands of times since '04? I kinda hate what I have, but having it for so long makes it hard to switch it.

Only $27 for Doom. Might trade it to Game Stop and pickup UC4 used. I have a 20% off used coupon which would be the cheapest way to go. No one has UC4 used around here yet though. Will wait a day or two and see if a local store ends up with it before my trade lock in with Amazon expires.

Your Amazon trade is actually good for at least another week after the "expiration" date (trades expire 25-ish days after being locked in), but you'll have to do some finagling to generate the packing slip and mailing label.

You can also just lock in a new trade today because it's at the same price and gives you an extra week before you have to send it in.

Probably trade it away by Thursday either way. Just heard the co-op play isn't even enabled on UC4 till fall. So really might even just rent it from Redbox for a long weekend. Might be what I will do with 8-15 hour single player games going forward. Trade values suck now. Not worth spending $51 for a game and hoping to get back $30 for a game I can play in 3 days and rent for $10 and not have to deal with shipping to Amazon or hoping for some 50% trade deal or whatever.

I looked before I went today and Doom wasn't up yet. So I appreciate the update. Probably trade it to Game Stop and wait for a used copy to show up. Will be the cheapest way for me to get UC4 anyway.
