I thought it was an awful match, and all on Lita's side, oddly. She looked like she couldn't give a shit less about being in there and didn't move with any "fire" I guess you could say.

All I know is that Mickie reversal was pretty sweet.

I am suprised they do stuff like that in the ring. They can't possibly clean up all the water and that has to be a hazard for the wrestlers.

er... I opted out of the 1st hour of Raw to wander about South Bend, why is Lita the champion now?

And I will be awfully sad if my hotel next Monday in Richmond, Virginia (cheap pop!) doesn't have the USA Network so I can watch the return of Jeff Hardy.
Sitting in Trudeau airport, waiting for my flight, I must say that, although I haven't been following much SmackDown, I took Sylvain's advice and visited Quebec.

Though due in no small coincidence to having a national conference I was presenting at here, he's totally right. It's an amazing place. I'm not sure why someone serving as a travel ambassador to such a fantastic place is supposed to get him booed, but hey, what do I know?
 if you were ever a wrestler you'd be guaranteed to be one of those career heels

oh and the answer is because he's not an American, go USA  go Patriotism, GO VINCE!!!:roll:

Quebec is awesome. So is Trudeau.

GO CANADA!

 this has been a really bad segment... just really awkward, the fans seemed unsure when to cheer or if to even cheer or not, as they yearned for Hogan to show up, but then I swear many of them thought the second time Hogan's music hit it was another imposter.

Then even after Hogan hit the ring the fans almost seemed to cheer when they were conditioned to cheer like that dog of Freud's salivated at the ring of a bell, and when Hogan never gave the atomic leg drop, well a wave of disappointment swept over the crowd.

Very sad if you ask me. Very sad indeed. I really hope Hogan doesn't end up like Flair's.

Personally, I really could have cared less about it. I just kept sitting there thinking, this entire angle has been just boring and not even worth watching. It seems like Hogan is pretty much half assing it and that his heart isn't really in it.

It's probably because he's going to be putting Orton over at SS
Yea, TNA's using Raven well, Abyss has a new cheerleader from the stands...
Read this only if you want to be spoiled on what happened at the Impact tapings....

Raven saves Runt from Abyss slamming him through a table with thumbtacks on it in a few weeks.

I've got to say that Cena's Dad sold that slap better than 90% of WWE's performers. That shit was hilarious.

And honestly, why do people keep cheering Ric Flair? His whole in ring offense consists of slap, slap, slap, figure four, opponent breaks out and Flair loses somehow.

I don't know, Raw is just so boring and stale at this point I think that I'll give it one more chance which is the post Summerslam Raw, and if it still sucks I'm just going to start doing something else with my two hours.

Plus, why is Vince seemingly so scared to create a stable again? Cmon, add some more members to DX, start another Corporation (Spirit Squad + Umaga + whoever else, they are basacially his lackeys anyways), I'm just sick of seeing these stables where its only two people.

The first thing I thought/hoped when I saw Shawn and HHH come out with that extra shirt was "excellent, new member!" then it was just a t-shirt pimp session.

I am surprised that DX lasted this long. The problem with adding members is what to do with them in a month when the angle is over.

So, did Lita get the belt because she signed a new contract? I hope not as I was looking forward to her leaving soon. At the very least they need to get her away from Edge as he doesn't need her for heat anymore and she is more of a hinderance at this point.

Bah, nuts to Kokomo (Indiana) I have no Sci-Fi network on my TV here. I swear if I don't have USA at my hotel in Virginia next Monday, I'm storming the castle!

I'd hate to be Justin Credible's knee or CM Punk's ribcage tonight. Ouch!

Otherwise blah show so far. They don't seem to want to respond to ANY of the criticism leveled at the show so far, and in fact seem to expand the show to build on the "same old shit" we see on Monday and Fridays. Other than Mike Knox, the "new" ECW guys are all exact replicas of their WWE counterparts - Test, Rene Dupree, Shannon Moore (that kid looks like a mishmash of every poser I've ever encountered), The Big Show, even Kurt Angle. The sheer lack of change is the most frustrating thing - not WHO is on the show, but the blinding similarities to the same old shit we've seen before.

Truth be told, I could give a fuck about any WWE programming right now except for two things: The Foley/Flair feud, and Sylvester Terkay. He wrestled for years as "The Predator" in Japan, and given his size and style, I have no fucking idea why WWE didn't jump on him years ago.

Blah is a much milder adjective than I am inclined to use.

That Justin Credible spot looked rough. I thought for sure that one of them was hurt badly.

ZL you aren't missing much. Foley was dancing in the ring. Need I say more?

Of course, this last match could save the whole thing.

I'm trying to not get worked up over the show sucking, and doing pretty well at it.
I'm trying to not get worked up over the show sucking, and doing pretty well at it.
I commend you sir. :)

I finished up Indigo Prophecy for most of ECW (with it on mute), and the highlight of the night was the kid holding up the sign that said "RVD sell me a sack."
Totally just saw RVD talking to Sabu during that irish whip.
That never bothered me, as competitive athletes talk to each other all the time - the best example I can think of is the catcher in a baseball game (case in point: a minor league brawl started when current Pirate Craig Wilson, well known for having the ugliest wife in all of the MLB, fought the catcher for reportedly saying, during Wilson's at bat, "Hey, who shaves your old lady's back when you're out of town?").

In wrestling, it's only bothersome when you can hear what they say (very rare), or it doesn't look like he's talking shit (e.g., when they whisper into their opponent's ear during an Irish Whip out of the corner).

I really want to like this main event, as it does stand out from the crap we usually see; sometimes "spotfests" look too planned out, and this, unfortunately, seems to be one of them. Maybe RVD is only on the ball if he's baked? ;)

Hahahahahaha Sabu was laughing his ass off that he slipped on the ladder. That was great, the crowd even started saying "You fucked up!" Otherwise this match has had a lot of bad wrestling in it.

Wow. I'm trying to not be so fucking negative, but that match, from beginning to end, couldn't have been any more scripted than if one of them stopped mid match and said "line, please?" into the house mic.

This is why SmackDown gets edited.

EDIT: Bested by the moderator.
Screw the rest of the show tonight, can we just have 15 minutes of Foley/Flair and then a solid 45 minute ladder match?
Forget that I posted this.

So... Sabu won and RVD is off the card for SummerSlam, that makes sense. I know WWE has been building up to a Sabu vs Big Show match, but come the fuckon RVD sells tickets, why not make it a 3 way dance at Summerslam, maybe one of those infamous barbed wire rope matches!

I think its kind of funny that it seemed like I was the only one defending ECW for the longest time and I actually quit watching before you guys did. The show's a disaster, I really don't think anything can save it at this point. I think the biggest problem is that they simply don't have enough decent wrestlers to make a decent show. I mean they've got all 4 of their top talent people fighting for the title. Then what? They split it up and make it 2 angles of 1 v. 1?
Sabu was eating the damn contract. WTF?
Haha, maybe he was drawing inspiriation from George "The Animal" Steele?

FX has not gotten around to the shows I watch (I started watching Nip Tuck last year and the Shield is one of my favorite shows).

If I hadn't have accidentally deleted all of the CDs of mine that I ripped from letters A-M, though I eventually undeleted D-M, and not copied them to my new iPod, I wouldn't be watching. It's peripheral in the background as I re-rip all of my CDs, from Amorphis through Cattle Decapitation. I should probably learn to give it up; I don't watch SD except on tivo, so I usually FF through the whole thing, save for a Terkay match.

Breaking the Monday Night habit would be breaking a 17-year tradition. I really want to do it, but it's fucking HABIT habit right now. Since 1989, motherfucker. Maybe I should go drinking on Mondays instead?

Fair enough. For the longest time I was watching ECW and then the Rescue Me replay right after that. Then I decided I hated waiting to watch Rescue Me cause it was getting so good so I just quit watching ECW.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing you guys because if it wasn't for FX's shows I'd be watching it too just for lack of anything else on.

Im kinda suprised no one's mentioned RVD's jump for the contract from the turnbuckle. That was almost as bad as the Van-Whiffanator last week.

Maybe all that mary jane made him think he could reach it...

Yea, it was odd that Lita won the belt out of nowhere. The only thing I can think of is they are making a last minute Summerslam match where Mickie James wins it back from Lita?

Lita is the worst fucking actor in WWE.
