they said they could get the 2 pokemon games transfer to my local place by friday but i doubt they show ..

Even better if you have the entertainment 2008 rewards book cause there is a coupon for 10 off when you spend 40

so you could pick up both pokemon games for 30

picked up both pokemon and a cheap transistor(.99) for a filler. i have the entertainment book so i was able to use the coupon. total came to $33.xx after tax. thanks op!!
 
For those that bought the entertainment guide; how much were they? I paid $5 at walgreens and was wondering if this is the going price (thought it would be cheaper myself).

thats a good price. i paid $20 for mine. but i got it when they first came out in early january.

Yeah...the later in the year that you buy the book the cheaper it is.

Most of the restaurant coupons expire on November 1 so you'll only have a few months to use those.

Are you telling me you can't trade pokemon in the mystery dungeon series?

Thanks, I don't feel so bad now about shelling out the $5 for it. I have a road trip in October so I may be able to use some of the restraunt coupons; there was a decent one or two in there for Blockbuster and some other odds and ends.

One thing that may be of use to folks; radioshack can apparently have games shipped from one store to another. I made a comment about not wanting to drive 25 miles to get a copy of SSBB (wii) and Lego Indiana Jones (ds); they said no problem then called the store and are having them sent over. They used some 4 letter acronym for it which I cannot remember right now. The only potential drawback was I had to pay for the items up front, but they said they'll be at the store in 2 days; which when they arrive I'll return/rebuy the items for $35 total.

Edit - BTW, they had Assassin's Creed (PS3) for $22.87 marked as "clearanced" with the yellow pricing and all. Doesn't seem that big of a deal, but if someone mixes it up with this coupon it could become more attractive.
 
Had to wait a while but got Hot Shots 2 for the PSP today-- the first guy told me all the games they had were out on the floor (in demo boxes), second guy said no, some are in the back. (good sales tactic, RS-- be sure no one knows you have stuff for sale!) Told him the game name twice, he came back after a while with HSG2. Haven't even cracked it open, but played the first to death, and $14.99 isn't a bad price..

Yeah, same here. All I get on the second link now is redirected to the front page of some other gaming site. There's a Radio Shack right next to the Hollywood in my town and I need to head out there anyway for a free game rental for August. I might as well check it out but without the coupon it isn't worth it. Anyone willing to rehost or repost the coupon scan gets a virtual cookie ;).
 
I snagged Brain Age 2 for $10, Flash Focus for $9, and Guitar Hero: Encore - Rocks The 80's for $15 today at Radio Shack. Awesome price on GH80's(that's nation wide at RS, I believe).

All that black ink... I printed it at school which was nice since they totally shot the coupon down when I tried to use it.

Also, I added Pokemon Pearl to the purchase since it was only $20. Now, I feel I've picked up enough ds games to go with the Pokemon DS system.
 
is pokemon pearl/diamond 20 at all radioshacks?... i typed in the zipcode finder and nothing came up... even though the other games its available at every radioshack near me

Yes, this is a nationwide sale.

If no stores show up during your search, than that means no stores within the range you searched for have them in stock.

I live in the Sacramento area, so there are tons of radioshacks. Only 2 stores had pokemon diamon/pearl listed on the website tracker from the Sac zip codes I tried. So, big ymmv.

I went into Radioshack yesterday, and I asked, "Do you take printed coupons?" The guy said, "We sure do, but I think the purchase has to be over $40."

So, I WAAAAS going to use it until I found out that they discontinued their 15-minute batteries... THOSE WERE AWESOME! Anybody know where I can get them now?

Anyhow, I did walk out with Lego Indiana Jones DS for $16 and change. :)
 
speaking of being cheap if you're into Goozex Lego Indy DS is 600 points ($30). I just bought it and put it up for laughs and got matched in 2 minutes.

i was 10000000000% behind goozex until last week

I got matched for 2 games that needed refunded and they never answer their emails anymore.

I just took down all of my games off the stie (will no longer be accepting trades)

i have over 22000 pts so i have no use to keep trading


WHEN THE #$#$#$$## did VP crash in price. last time i seen VP It was 100 + now its around 70

Rayovac discontinued the IC-3 batteries like 2 years ago-- which is all the RS batteries were.. but yeah, they are awesome.

I think Amazon still has some marketplace sellers selling them-- not particularly cheap, though.

funny thing even with a 22000 pt profit im still ahead i think money wise.... I mostly got 10 buck games that sold for like 5oo to 900 pts and only mostly got stuff at 100 pts ...

Went in yesterday and also saw on clearence Hannah Montana Musical Jam & high School Musical Making the Cut for the Ds @ $10.00 if anybody is interested.
 
I got Flash Focus, and the two Pokemon games. I figured Flash Focus was a decent price at 8.47, and made good filler for the coupon to work.
I'm kind of curious if they have any other decent clearance. All I remember hearing about is Madden 08, Zelda, and Pokemon Pearl and Diamond for the DS.
 
Anyone know of another store selling the Entertainment coupon book? Only a couple Walgreens (I called about 10) have any left, and they are not budging from $30 (yes, it's the old one)....

yea i said it eariler.. its best to go to the other store FIRST then pick up your games at RS then get the price match...

I got both pokemon games for under 28 after price adjustment at best buy
 
why so you did.. although I don't think you have to go thru that much trouble. All I did was just take a RadioShack flyer to BestBuy. Bought the game. Got the flyer from my car and took it to customer service for PM.

so just bring the ad it would net both games at 36.98 or mine shown 25.98 almost an 11 buck savings (since i had the coupon for 10 off)

now no coupon it wouldnt make since driving around (i got a RS right down the road maybe 1 mile from best buy
