Looked for MK Ltd Ed found 4 AC brotherhood and a RF A instead not bad. At this BB they suddenly had an abundance of the pulled guides that werent pennied can only hope that the last till or if BB does decide to pennied out
 
I went looking for the recent drops and got a whole lot more. Picked up Dragon Age II Collector's Edition, Dragon Age Origins Awakening, and Halo Reach Legendary Edition. The Halo one isn't even listed here for the Special Edition. The regular one is. What a great haul.
 
Picked up a perfect condition ME3 hardcover for $15.99 at a closing BB. I figured it was worth it when you look at the previous guides prices.
 
Got my first penny guide (yay!), Metroid Other M (boo!). I just need to get the game now. There was a slot at TRU for a Bakugan guide. I'm not sure what guide it was, the price tag just said Bakugan 1¢
 
Checked my local BB after dropping one of my kids to karate and glad I did picked up a LBP 2 , Dragon Age II sealed x2 and a sealed Pokemon B&W sealed DA and P bw going to trade list

These skus aren't working for me when I do the bestbuy.com trick. I searched for the skyrim guide and checked in store then replaced the sku to something like this:

www bestbuy com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcat17006&type=page&skuId=2383249&searchpage=true&_requestid=471616

And I changed the sku to what is underlined above. But the site just refreshes and doesn't check for the new skus. So does the besbuy search still work for you guys?

Nice, welcome to the hunt! I did a little research and I could only find 5 video game adaptations of Bakugan. Only one of those had a printed guide: Bakugan: Battle Brawlers. It was made by Prima. Hope this helps!

I've seen shelf stickers marking stuff $.01 before at BB. Not around here, mind ya, but I have definitely seen them before.

Although a few years ago when the local BB stores both had large clearance shelves in the front of each store they put some of the pennied guides on those shelves WITH penny stickers on the front covers. That only lasted that one drop though, since I think I grabbed all dem shitz.:lol:

I came across the same thing today at a BB I went to while out of town. I wonder how long it had been there.
 
My thanks for keeping this thread updated. Picked up an AC:B guide today at the Woodland, CA BB. There was still one more on the shelf when I left.

Nice find today, was in the city this morning and figured let me take a quick look. Picked up a Pokemon B&W Sealed and 3 Sealed Mortal Kombat CE . Keeping 2 of the MK ( one for me and one for my Nephew ), the other will be up on the Trade List. Debating about P B&W.
 
Damn all of you and your Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood LE guides that you have found. I have not seen those in my BB's in nearly a year and I know for a fact they are not in the back room. Before that there were stacks of them.
 
Ha went to two different BB's, one to pick up an order, and rang up UC3 softcover guide but rang up full price. I thought its penny but I see now it was at gamestop.
 
Hey guys, Toys R Us is now rocking pink as opposed to purple. It's much easier to distinguish BB and TRU now.

I honestly had no problems reading the prior format myself, Dark. But then again I read the OP and know how to distinguish between colors.:booty:

FYI: Those penny items listed above are Best Buy Marketplace items and NOT sold by BB themselves. Shipping for each item is almost $7 a pop.:roll:

Woah, I didn't even know that BB had a marketplace for other sellers. Thanks for pointing that out!

The only dream I think I've ever had about penny guides was back when I had 500-800 of them. I had a dream that the stacks of them I used to have fell over and crushed me.:whistle2:#:whistle2:#

That alone told me it was time to downsize that collection.;)
 
You guys need help. I only dream of blonds, brunettes, red-heads, big boobs.....maybe a Lara Croft, or similar......

but strategy guides..........Yeah thsoe cover pages are really hot!!

I think I have one of those around here someplace still. They were part of a guide/artbook bundle at BB back in the day. I think I found maybe 3-6 of them. Some had no back sheet to them though, which meant I had to know the SKU# offhand(which I did;)) to be able to have them ring up as $.01 at the registers.:D

Dont feel bad. I gave up on looking for penny guides. They do a good job pulling it.

I got so many guides that i dont know what to do with it. If I had some CAG friends that live in my area, i would give it free.

Dont know what to do with the CE and guides blocking my closet

Same for me, I have tons of guides, most I paid for years ago that I refuse to get rid of.
