Rewarding Achievements - Confirmed!

The time has been extended to the 22nd of April I guess because of the issues with registering. Does this mean we will have to wait for our Contra codes and points codes until then?
 
Just got an email - YES you have to wait until April 22 for all codes and prizes!

Xbox Rewards Announcement

Dear MGD Hunterr,

Xbox Rewards is a new and exciting program, and the community has responded. Initial response has been very strong. The Old Spice Experience Challenge is your first opportunity to get great rewards, but to ensure you will receive your rewards, here are the key things you need to know:
  • After you have completed the Old Spice Experience Challenge by increasing your Gamerscore by 1,500, you will need to return to www.xbox.com/rewards, sign in using your Windows Live ID, go back to the Old Spice Experience Challenge page and click on the “I’M FINISHED” button.
  • If you have qualified to receive a physical rewards, you will need to verify your mailing address one time by clicking on the "CONFIRM" button before your rewards can be shipped. The “CONFIRM” button will not disappear after you verify, but don't worry, you don't need to do it twice.
Xbox will send out rewards shortly after the Challenge ends in April to the registered members who met all requirements. Remember, you can only receive the rewards listed for your level, and some rewards are only available on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last.

To help ensure that you have enough time to complete the Old Spice Experience Challenge, the challenge has been extended by 10 days. You now have until April 22nd, 2007 to increase your Gamerscore by 1,500.

i think fuzion frenzy (the lowest quantity) was in stock for over 2 weeks

i got mine after about 9 days and it was still at 30% when I clicked I'm Finished
 
I haven't used any of the easy games to bump up gamer score yet, but will Madden 06 and King Kong work?
 
Just finished but only qualified for Contra and the Gamerpicture, the site still list the 100pts as available but it didnt give me those. Oh well.

Same for me as well. Guess I'll just have to step up in the next challange to get the better prizes. Assuming there is another challange.

Did you get a code for Contra? I just completed the challenge and it says check back later for a code.

Been trying to figure out my starting number also. It says how close you are to the next level, but not how close you are to getting the 1500 increase.

go to the challenge page and click "I'm Finished" and it will tell you how many more points you need.

Unless I'm guaranteed a prize. Are there still Contras or something to win?

As of yesterday, there was only Contra and the Gamerpic pack left to win. My goal now is to get to the 2nd tier for the next round of challanges. I'd go for the 3rd tier, but that would take a while.

Thanks! Got my Level 3 gamerpic and 200 points. Already got Contra so I guess I'll either try to trade it to someone for a different game or some points, or give it away to a friend.

You can't get the third tier from first. Your tier is locked in when you register. One of the prizes is advancement to the next tier, so you'd advance to second and that's it.
 
Thanks so much for the heads up on the rewards page being updated. Just DLed everything I was eligible for.

So sort of on topic but I had read on other Old Spice Rewards threads on other forums that these codes would be available until April 22nd, when the challenge officially ended. Any theories on why they bumped it up. Tired of customer inquiries? Or possibly signs of an upcoming challenge?
 
Are the codes specifically for your gamertag? I wanted to add the 100pts. to my japanese account but it wouldn't let me, when I added them to my account everything was fine.

I ask this because I already have Contra so I will be wanting to trade it for another code but if its exclusive to your account then that would suck.
 
Wow 39 pages...havent read this thread yet, but can someone quickly sum up what the rewards are for achievements or copy and paste a post that explains it?

All the rewards are gone except for Contra and a gamer picture.
 
I just signed up even though I'm really late to the fray. My Xbox was in the shop, but since receiving it I've already gotten 300+ points (too bad they won't have counted though).

So what prizes are still open and are there any exceptions like you can't do sports games? I haven't read or kept up with this thread so please bare with me. No way I can read 800 posts. I still have King Kong that I bought that I haven't even started and I can knock out another 400 or so from Marvel UA and probably another 300-400 in GOW.

I was saying that with the assumption that there were going to be more challanges down the line. And if thats the case, I plan to get into the 2nd group for that and will attempt to get the points needed to advance much quicker in an effort to cash in on better prizes.

But thats all a moot point if there are no further challanges.

1. Contra and some gamerpics, it seems.
2. No limitations on games.
 
Odd, I finished a couple of days after Fuzion Frenzy ran out but it shows up in my completed rewards below contra and the gamer picture. It (rightfully) doesn't show the shirt or MS points as earned so it might be a stupid glitch or it might be substantial. I'm not going to hold my breath but it would be nice.

Yes. They allocated a fixed amount for the contest (no idea what it is).

It looks like the Rewards codes have been released if you have already completed the Challenge. I logged in and clicked on 'My Rewards' and saw that I had token codes for both Contra and the Old Spice pic (sadly, I'm only a Level One).

Here I was thinking that we all had to wait another month for these codes. Pretty sweet.

I think most of them will be about the same, except for the game (hopefully) and the gamerpics (assuming another company sponsors it).

Wow... I finally got 1500 points and what happens? It tells me that I haven't even signed up yet! My god! I didn't even know there was a link to "Join this challenge." I thought I joined when I signed up, but I guess that wasn't the "official" sign up. -_-
 
Wait, wait, wait... so I have to sign up, THEN gain 1,500 points? I thought it was just sign up at any point and if your score is at that level or higher you get the rewards. If that's how it's supposed to be, then this sucks! Since Crackdown came out I've increased my pointage by about 1,500 and I just signed up a minute ago. Man, I need to read the rules for these things closer.

Yeah, you're screwed. The points you have when you sign up determine what level of prize you're entered for. Then you have to get 1,500pts to get the prize.
