I find Wonderwall really relaxing to play.

Edit: My favorite is probably Interstate Love Song or Roxanne (though I enjoy playing the former more, and like singing the latter). Both of the AAR songs were great pickups at half price, and are big hits with my friends.
Faith No More!? God be praised.

These guys really know how to take my moneys.
Really? "We Care a Lot" is not one of their better songs.
Really? "We Care a Lot" is not one of their better songs.
True, but it's still Faith No More on the board. I just appreciate them going after my preferred artists/groups.

 at these videos. I couldn't listen to these on my work computer since they have no speakers, but I popped my laptop in and its safe to say I won't be downloading those anytime soon. I'll probably get Dr Love though.

Favorite DLC is AJFA by Metallica. Pretty easy as far as drumming goes (except for those 5 superfast bass hits, I've hit all of the parts at one point or another) but really fun to play.

I like playing guitar for Last Train to Clarksville even though I think it's pretty hard. And I also like listening to Interstate Love Song even if it's not that fun to play =P

No love for "We Care a Lot?" That's classic FNM. I'd like to see Midlife Crisis, Small Victory, Last Cup of Sorrow, or god knows what else as well...but I'm happy to see this. Chuck Mosley-era FNM deserves some credit.

still looking to either jump on a train or buy a disk for a buck or two. Anybody got any info on the 3rd/4th train or have a disk to get rid of?

cheers,
mike

I got my OXM disc from Future today. Just use their online form and say you got a mangled disc.

Jesus, I need some MS point like....now.

I love FnM but would have preferred a track with Mike Patton, but at least it's a song people have heard.

Roam is a good song IMO and really adds to the variety as there is absolutely nothing like that in RB right now. It would be even better if more than one person could sing harmony for extra points. Rock Lobster would have been great though, or even Planet Claire. I think this one will be fun to play though, it even has a signature guitar riff LOL.

More Kiss. Meh I could live without that but I will still be getting all three of these.

Do you know what issue (month) the songs were in?

So Ea sent me a broken guitar for my replacement guitar. I contacted their customer service to see if I could get a free game like the people who had their guitars delayed, but no luck. So I wrote them this letter that will go with my broken guitar back to Ea:

Amazing!

Probably a repost, but this thread grows exponentially every day --

The 30 Seconds to Mars songs are now 160 points. I was thinking about getting them at 80 points, 'cause, hey, its only 80 points, but one of my friends said that they suck. Now I kind of regret not getting them.

I did get Song with a Mission, though...and five-starred it (medium) first time through.

Does anyone else find that they've mastered medium but hard is a little too much of a jump?

I guess I'll download "We Care Alot" because it's the theme song to Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel and it's one of my fav. shows.

But that's all I'll get.

Okay guys. I'll be starting a third(?) OXM train. Just shoot me a PM and I'll start a list. If you'd like to paypal me a buck that'll be cool.
Is there still issues with the 360 Rock Band?
Thinking about buying the whole set.
I received one at the end of December and my guitar stopped working properly.

Yep, that's me. I suck at the fifth button.
Yep, that's me. I suck at the fifth button.
It's really a matter of practice. I sucked hard at hard on GHII and III, but I kept trying and trying, and now I can play it decently. I'm told it's the same thing going from hard to expert. It took me nearly 6 months of casual playing GH/RB to get to a decent hard ability, so keep playing and eventually you'll get there.

The issues with peripherals aren't that big a deal imo. I had a guitar that stopped activating star power and had a replaced one in my hands in two days. They've done a good job with their replacement program.

Does anyone know if the PS3 drums and mic will work on the 360? I have 2 guitars for my 360 (no drums or mic), but wanna play with a friend who has the PS3 version of Rock Band that came with drums and a mic.

You could try playing bass on hard. The note patterns are easier, but you still use the orange button. It's the step between medium and hard guitar's big jump.

I know there's no solo career, but there's quick play and BWT, both of which are way more fun than practice mode.

Ballroom Blitz is in a set of 12 songs, and in a set of 8 songs. Both srets need to be played on hard.

If I don't have a credit card, what can I do to start downloading songs from the PS3 store?

Also, will it be possible to back-up songs that I buy. I'm in fear that my PS3 could die.
Any impressions on today's DLC?
We Care A Lot - excellent guitar/bass song. Not too hard but not the easiest song ever.

Roam - A lot more fun than I expected. Definitely fun for guitar/microphone.

The mic should work since it is just a USB mic, but not sure about the drums.

if the PSN store is anything like XBL once you download something you can always go back and get it again

Roam is actually pretty fun on expert drums too. The kick drum is grooving.
We care a lot has a weird drum part, but it's not really hard.
Neither of them are that hard, but they are fun.
No idea about the kiss song as I decided not to contribute to gene's pension fund.

Roam is a pretty interesting vocal part, it can be hard to know which harmony to sing though.
It will be fun at parties for sure.
