Kind of a disappointing week for me but I will still buy because I don't actually hate any of it....though that STP song sounds pretty damn grating and the Weezer not much better, but at least it has a fast part in the middle. Garbage song sounds pretty unremarkable.

My launch guitar finally got the upstrum issue this weekend, timing was piss poor as we'd just taken the whole kit over to a friend's house 2 hours away for a Rock Band weekend (saw Freezepop and played lots of Rock Band), and bam, two songs in, no more up strumming. Ah well, we just did bass on easy, and ordered our coffin yesterday evening.
 
Well I broke my Drum Pedal for the 5th time last night. Hopefully I can get it repaired tomorrow because I'm reallying looking forward to the new DLC on tuesday.
 
Ok, that OXM is definitely off the stands in my area, so hopes of a train 3 just went down the shitter unless someone else comes across a copy.
 
I'll probably pick up Weezer and maybe STP this week.

I finished the solo vocal tour on Expert two days ago, kind of surprised, I didn't think I would be good enough to get through that! Also got past that awful Fallout Boy song on solo drums tour on Expert, saving my overdrive actually seemed to work better for me than using it, those drum fill sections seemed to help me out. Hopefully I won't have to play that song anymore except for in Band World Tour on the random setlists.

Crap. The last 5 songs on expert is the wall for me. I really thought I was going to be able to finish but the crazy solos are killing me.

Also, I just did the 100% upstrum bass thing and didn't get the achievement.... WTF? The only way to play bass is Quickplay, right?
 
with all the money you get from Solo Tour, is the only real thing to buy basically clothes and tattoes and what not... is there anything else to it?

Ya, my thoughts exactly. I really enjoyed Interstate Love Song, but this song sounds annoying as hell.

Someone mind refreshing me what's on that OXM disc. I'm a few hours north of you Scorch. Maybe we can keep it regional first and then send it out according to that.
 
Awesome! Almost forgot how much I liked this track. Definite purchase tomorrow.

2 other Weezer songs that I love are Pink Triangle and In the Garage. Actually almost all of their stuff is great. I think I need to queue up some Weezer on the ipod for the car ride home tonight.

EDIT - what are the odds on 'goddamn' being edited out of El Scorcho?

Aren't the DLC's not rated? I don't know if any other DLC has cut words.
 
I didnt like the song when I heard the first time why would I listen to it again.....The song may be edited because apparantly theres a song where drugs is edited out...
Weezer just isnt that great of a band to me. They arent very original

THANK YOU... I couldnt agree more. i dont get this love for weezer... i think there music is lame, whiney, annoying, and boring... They sound like the want to be radio head, but just cant be...
 
I'd rather get that rumored Chili Peppers pack. You've got so many people playing rock band, it's hard to please them all so here's hoping for next week.

See, I'm the opposite. I enjoy Weezer, but have never understood the love for Radiohead. The only Radiohead song I've ever been able to enjoy is Creep. Still, people enjoy what they enjoy, and I've learned to leave it at that.
 
gotta get STP fer sho, maybe weezer, i'm curious what's next, no listing on wikipedia still, i did hear a rumor of a possible RHCP pack coming soon, according to what i read, it should have under the bridge, otherside and another one i can't remember, has universally or universal in it.

Well it's past 2am here. Where you at? West Coast? I thought I heard they drop at 5 am Eastern time. I'll just get them tomorrow. I really wanted to play the new Weezer before any of my friends.
