While I prefer Danzig, I wouldn't mind a few Graves tracks (see: "Saturday Night").

"Die, Die My Darling", "Last Caress", and "Saturday Night", please.
The Misfits aren't known for stunning lyrics, but "Saturday Night" takes the fuckin' Cheesecake. GAWD.

Last Caress ain't gonna happen due to lyrics.

eff yeah! i FINALLY beat "don't fear the reaper" on expert drums. for some reason i always lost the beat on the final 3 sections.

now the only song i haven't beaten is "run to the hills" which i just need to figure out the tempo.

and i'm ranked at about 950 {=D

Not to mention that any Misfits songs would have to be covers, due to the awful recordings.

Danzig should re-record this stuff just for Rockband, he can't be doing too much right? I saw him play with Doyle a while back, and it was an amazing show.

Personally, I'd like to see Bullet on my tracklist.

DANZIG IS BUSY BEING DANZIG! THAT'S ENOUGH!

Though I just remember watching on VH1 awhile back where they were talking about he bought a tiny wooden house in the middle of no where and I can only imagine him sitting on his porch and just waiting and staring... That's enough for me.

If I lived in Europe, I'd be taking a GIANT shit in a box and mailing it to EA right now, as a thank you for the Rock Band pricing.

fucking ridiculous.
Is the pricing to scale with other UK video game pricing? Maybe its just the way it is.
Not in this case.
It costs more than a Wii over there now.
Hope we get lots of European rock and metal DLC now.
Cradle of Filth or Dark Tranquillity would be awesome.
Still doesn't explain why a single game costs more than a current gen console.

fucking ridiculous.
console price is a lot higher there too i thought. im pretty sure it doesn't cost more than the current gen consoles there.

Talking about the Wii.

Seriously, if I lived in Europe all of my consoles would be modded and my game collection would consist of CD-Rs with my shitty handwriting.

Point taken, but there are so many different versions of Misfits songs out there, there is SOMETHING that could be used if they really wanted. Come on, out of the 300 versions they recorded of Night of the Living Dead, at least one of them has to have master tracks available in decent quality. Within the last 10 years both Static Age and 12 Hits From Hell (which never officially came out but isn't hard to find) had remasters of stuff that was recorded late 70's/early 80's, so I don't think it's impossible at all.

As far as Graves stuff, I liked it fine. But if they indeed went with Misfits DLC they need to have their priorities in order and do Danzig stuff first. Then again, the Graves-era stuff seems like it would be a more likely candidate for DLC since the masters are a lot more recent and probably wouldn't be tied up in as much legal tape.

But yeah, for what it's worth, I'd want:

She
Bullet
London Dungeon

For some reason this is my favorite post on this board in months.

My friends pass his one house every time they're in California. They showed me a picture of it once. Pretty creepy with a bunch of overgrown plants...and a brand-new car in the driveway. I found this pic of it:

Yeah the re-recordings of the guitar tracks on 12 Hits sounded great, but they'd still have to re-record Danzig's voice.

Did a robot ghost-of-christmas-past-from-the-future come running out with Danzig following screaming "I'M RUNNING LOW ON THE ELF BLOOD!!!!"?

What brand PS3/PS2 USB adaptor are you guys using that lets you use the PS2 guitars on the PS3. I want to play GH:2 on my PS3.

I recently set up an account on ebay, they have a lot of adaptors, but they are the ones that let you use the PS2 controller on PS3 games. They wont work for PS2 games. Thats what a lot of them say.

What brand of adaptor do you guys have that works. Any help appreciated.

you probably aren't going to get many answers since this is the xbox 360/Rock Band Thread. I'd create a new post in the PS3 section. You might get more responses there.

Remastering doesn't involve going back to the original multitracks, so unfortunately that has no bearing on whether what would be needed for RB would be available or not.

They could certainly re-record though. It was done for GH3...

:applause: Strangely enough, this is the first thing I thought of when I saw Danzig's name pop up in this thread! :applause:

lol I just find it so odd knowing he actually gave his voice to do that. All the more reason Danzig is awesome and not to sound gay (not that there's anything wrong with that), but never needs to put on a shirt.

Classic Rock Pack

"Call Me" by Blondie (master)
"Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (master)
"Message in Bottle" by the Police (master)
Please have Simple Man and/or Zero for the DLC announcement today, Harmonix.
This week's DLC for $1.99 per song (160 Microsoft Points) or these songs can also be bought in a 3-song Classic Rock pack for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points). PS3 Store should be back up on Thursday so these tracks should come out then as well along with the last two weeks of DLC that they've missed.

"Call Me" by Blondie (master)

"Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (master)

"Message in Bottle" by the Police (master)

I haven't bought any DLC in a month, and I guess I won't be this week either. I need a fix, goddammit. That freebie last week doesn't count.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. Already played teh Police track in a previous GH game. Plus, you can't go wrong with more Skynyrd.
simple man is MINE. i've been waiting since they announced it.
I think Simple Man is going to be the one song I don't d/l out of these three. It just sounds kinda slow and boring to me, but I'm glad it's here for everyone who wants it. I'll wait for "Sweet Home Alabama" for my Skynyrd fix.
Now that that one German song is gonna be in the game, I hope the means Rammstein eventually
You and I both can keep on hoping, brother.:D
