Ok,

Here is a trade list for this thread!

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84947

I was passing by the game section while overhearing the employee talk about all 2 of their Xbox 360 systems they got in...

I noticed a few of the games were oddly priced..

Urbz, wario and Pokemon DS we $24.94 or some such thing.

There were many games this way so I am not sure if its a YMMV or what? No SALE signs were there and the tags were a plain white. It seemed to me that they were the current prices.

Here's a compiled list of everybody's finds so far in the thread. The price following the game title are the different reported prices.

All prices and availability is YMMV, and a lot of it seems to depend on the cashier. A lot of these games aren't in the system, and in many cases they won't sell them to you. Two options here:

A)If a game isn't in the computer when scanned, the cashier can try typing in the Stock number that is on the sticker for the game on the shelf.

B)Some people have had success bringing up another known priced game and getting both for that price.

* Also to note prices are rounded UP!!

That is what the tag said. The sims said 4.97, when he rang it up it said .97, so I went back and checked a few other games.

Was at Sears today, and Final Fantasy Tactics had a sticker price of $29.99 and Pokemon Emerald had a price tag of $34.99........Would the prices come up cheaper if I would of actually asked someone to scan them for the price?

They probably would have came up NOT IN SYSTEM. Then they'd either not sell them or offer them to you for sticker price.

Dam, alright, thanks for telling me that.

Alternately, I believe there's a way that they can look up the last price that something sold for before it was went out of the system -- at least that's what they were able to do at the store near me when the PS1 LCDs would no longer ring up.

^^^Pokemon LeafGreen is the one that's clearanced, not Pokemon Emerald. That one is still in the system at last check.

The two Sears Essentials I've been to had fixed the price on "Super Mario Bros. 3" and it rings up as $24.99 on sale. Don't know if other Sears stores fixed it as well or only Essentials, but both usually have universal pricing.

Yea, just realized that , im a dumbass.

Picked up Def Jam: Fight For NY (GC) for 0.97 this past Friday. I also ran into the 29.99 for FF Tactics Advance. It did not come up in the system but the associate went to a manager who told him to enter a number sequence and that is how it came up to 29.99. I'll have to get this eventually.

Found GBA Legend of Zelda classic for 95 cents, Legend of Zelda Four Swords for 4.95, and Mario Golf for 8.95 today. Sadly no FFTA, but some good deals non the less. Thanks.

At South Bend(University Park), IN, I picked up:

Mario & Luigi GBA - $4.97
Pokemon Leaf Green GBA - $4.97
Kingdom Hearts GBA - $8.97

The prices were a little lower than the list, so take note. Also, if anyone wants to trade me a Fire Emblem SS for the Kingdom Hearts, send me a PM.

This is like the most unkown clearence on CAG at the time. I am heading back to sears to check out and willpost back my findings..

thanks everyone.

is this four swords for gamecube? Or do you mean A Link to the Past with the four swords.

I think this sale is over... I went back to Sears, they scanned in the barcode, and told me FFTA was $29.99, a discount of $5 from its $34.99 price :(

A sad panda is me.

Went to one of my local Sears. Didn't find crap, although the $29.99 FFTA still stands. Not sure if it's considered a sale, but one the better games, Astro Boy Omega, was $16.99, down from $19.99 and there was about 7 copies. I'm keeping an eye out for these, as I feel they may drop of $10.xx or lower soon.

I went to a sears in Hayward Ca. I saw Fire Emblem: TSS. I had asked for a price check, it came up not found. I was pissed because This is the third sears I went to and got the same verdict for the same game which means they can't sell it. But I told the guy my story and he made a effort to find out why. After about a 1/2 hour, (calling other branches and seeing the manager twice) he scanned another clearance game, sony jumpack 2001, and used that to sell it to me a whopping $4.99! third time's a charm.

Grrr...I found 2 copies of FE:SS and like you it didn't come up in the system. Almost identical story but when they finally looked up the price it came up $34.99! GAH!

I hit up another Sears and found Metroid: ZM and SMBA2 for $4.97 a piece. SMBA4 came up $29.99, FFTA came up $29.99, and a few others on the list also were $20 +.

You are all lucky to still find the good games still! My Sears has been pretty much picked clean for over a month now of all the games less than 15 bucks. Are your Sears stores restocking or something?

The Sears store I went to is completely dead. The electronics guy wasnt even in his department, he took a lunch break. I had to get the guy from another department to scan the games for me lol.

Went to Sears today and mine have a lot of stuff and I had them run a few things through, nothing was .97cents, but I found Wrath Unleashed for PS2 and Xbox for 4.97 along with NCAA March Madness 2005.
If anyone else finds .97cent games I'd definitely go around to check those out. :)

The only $0.97 game I found was MVP Baseball 2004 for PS2. For some odd reason, all other 2004 PS2 sports games like NBA Live 2004 and Madden NFL 2004 scanned at $19.99 when they have most 2005 games clearanced at $4.97! Doesn't make much sense, but this is Sears we're talking about.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance scanned at $29.99 on the Price Checker as others have reported, so apparently this and SMB3SMA4 are no longer on clearance.

I'm amazed anyone else is still finding the good GBA games so cheap, when I haven't seen those at any Sears since well before December.
is this four swords for gamecube? Or do you mean A Link to the Past with the four swords.
I meant the Link to the Past with the four swords.

I just picked up the last 2 copies (so I could do multiplayer with a link cable) of Mario Golf: Advance Tour at my local Sears for $8.97 each. :)

Bah... with the reports of cheap Mario Golf and cheap Zero Mission, I'll have to make another stop tonight.

Crap luck today.. no Zero Mission, no Mario Golf. Had my arch nemesis Sears manager scan Mario Tennis on a whim, but it's 29.99.

Champions of Norrath for PS2 was out tagged at 6.97 though.

Pokemon Dash is $26.99 (went up in price)
Urbz DS is $19.99 (or $19.97 don't remember).

I thought they might be lower but unfortunately no.

Found a Mario Golf for 8.97. Anyone have a Kingdom hearts or Mario Luigi wanna trade? I can also pick up Tiger woods 2005 for Xbox for 4.95 if wants to trade.

Picked up Champions of Norrath for $6.95 today.

Why doesn't my Sears get all these deals?!

The Sears near me charges friggin $49.99 for everything! EVEN SOME GREATEST HITS TITLES!!!

BAH!
Went to SEARS today.

Wario Ware Touched DS - 8.67! They had 3 copies
ICO - 12.99, had 1 copy in their bin
Think you could pick up a WarioWare for me? CML if interested in trading.

edit: WeaponX2099 already posted a list of new games in this thread

i picked up metroid prime pinball ($24.97), the last copy of paper mario ($24.97), astro boy ($9.97)and metroid classic ($6.97) in valencia, ca.
Donkey Konga with bongos was 29.99 I know Donkey Konga 2 is 24.99 but the first one is better.
Mario party 6 with microphone $24.97, legend of zelda four swords $29.97,

I also nabbed the MP6 deal with the microphone. Amazing, since I was just complaining about how I can never find a deal on MP games, even used ones!

There were also a ton of other good deals, like the Zelda you mentioned, Zelda 2 GBA ($7), ICO $9.99, the Arcade Greatest Hits series ($10 each), and several others. Lafayette Square Mall Sears in Indy is the place - lots of stuff left.
nba live 2006 - xbox360 $29.99

fort wayne, indiana sears
do you have the sears item # for this game?

n/m, i found it, 05891269000, still 59.99 online

Have they been adding games to the discount pile or something? Hmm...I didn't even know Baten Kaitos was one of them, they definitely didn't have that at my local sears during the holiday season.
If anyone can find and Burnout Revenge or Ninja Gaiden Black, I may be down for 20 bucks...and if anyone can find Minish Cap for 10 I'd pay 15!
I had them ring up BOR today, and it came up $30. I guess that one's YMMV.

I did go ahead and nab Pac n Roll, Virtua Tennis (PSP), MK Shaolin Monks, and Golden Eye Rogue Agent. Grand total was under $50 with tax, so I was pretty happy about that.

My buys today. Ico 9.99, War of the Monster 9.99, and they had one copy left of Donkey Konga 2 for 24.99. I was suprised that my Sears had 2 Ico's and alot of War of the Monsters, those 2 games should be sold out because they are amazing. I had no luck finding DQ8, they dont even carry it there.

My finds today.
I got.

Donkey Kong NES Classic $2.9x
Super Mario Advance 4 Super Mario Bros 3 $14.xx
Ico 9.xx

Things I saw:

Final Fantasy XI - 45.00
Logitech PS2 Headset 9.9x
