Actually managed to find some stuff that wasn't grossly overpriced. Picked up Buso Renkin Volume 1 and both parts of Certain Magical Index.
 
I dropped by Suncoast to check on that Legend of Korra blu-ray deal and decided to check out the used stuff.  I ended up picking up Eureka 7 Collection 2 and the Mass Effect paragon lost movie for $40 after B1G1 half off deal.

Are there any other good places you guys look for anime? I've kept my eye on secondspin, suncoast, gohastings.com, half price books, and the mega replay store in town.  I've checked amazon, but I don't to have to pay $3.99 for shipping each volume. 

I'm trying to decide if I should keep or sell the Eureka 7 collection.  If I keep it, I'll have to look for the rest of the series.  I'm also currently trying to complete my evangelion platinum set.  I need 6 more volumes of Gundam Wing and I need the last chapter of Zeta Gundam.  I also need the last 2 collector boxes from Mobile Fighter G Gundam. 

 
Damn you, SecondSpin! I just dropped another $180 on various anime complete collections because of you. Why do you exist to torment me so? My credit card despises you now.
 
Went to FYE and the only restriction was that sale items were excluded.

Guess what most of the New DVDs and Blu-rays are right now?
 
Was just at FYE (Trumbull, Connecticut) and this might be YMMV but in addition to the BOGO 50% off deal on all non-sale DVDs and Blu-Rays, they also had a Buy One Get One for $1 for all used TV series.  I picked up used copies of Adventure Time seasons 1 and 2 for $18 total.  Said the sale was probably until Sunday.

 
I just checked another FYE and they didn't have the $1 deal on the second used tv series set, just the 50% off.  So it looks like seriously YMMV or a special being run by that one location.

After reading the fine print some more, the B2G1 Free is one of those "Only items $15 and under" deals. Coupon is still nice, though.
 
Ignore what I posted earlier. The limit is not there on the store posters, nor is the contradictory writing. And the 30% coupon does stack. Got Game of Thrones S1, S2, Girls S1, Chrome Shelled Regios, Star Wars Clone Wars Season 4, and Rosario+Vampire Capu2. Plus a mismarked Young Justice S2V2 all for just over $100.

Yeah, this is the only downside shopping with SS/WH as their sorting system kind of blows.

It will take more effort to sort through the stuff you want, but usually the way I do it is see what the SS/WH Amazon stores have in stock because their Amazon store stock reflects what they have on their sites. It will still take some effort, but makes it a bit easier.

Heavy YMMV, but I was at Suncoast and they had an unadvertised sale. Buy 2 Used, get 20% off. Buy 3, get 30%. Buy 4 or more, get 40%. The sign up front had the usual Buy 2 Get 1 Free, but there were no smaller signs. Ended up getting 13 Anime titles for $260. And that was with having to buy another Backstage Pass because FYE HQ's customer service sucks.
 
Went to fye today to check out some used deals.  Ended up walking out with Game of thrones season 2 bluray, Tim Burton Collection bluray, and Jamie Foxx Collection all for $63.XX with tax and that was without the 25% off coupon forget bout that

just wanted to say that is 23 discs. GoT is 8, JFC is 8, and TBC was 7 which is a really cool collection.

 
Just letting you guys know, FYE currently has a promo where you get $10 in Bonus Bucks for every $30 spent. No, not any order over $30, but one coupon every $30. Meaning if you spent $70 you would get 2 coupons.

There are some restrictions. You're only supposed to use 1 per day, though that obviously depends on the cashier. Also, it's valid for the first week in December only.
