That's why MS's DRM sucks so much.

And damn, Assassin's Creed for the PC sound good.
It's go new kinds of investigations. :(
Looks real clean too.
That's why MS's DRM sucks so much.
.
No arguments from me on that. DRM in general typically sucks.

Does Nintendo handle things better with VC games on a broken Wii?

 God I hate YouTube. I'm just looking at videos of unplayable discs..and all these videos are of these gay ass guys hitting their Xbox while they have some gay song playing.

Like really. Is that song really needed?
How do you tell someone they smell like shit without actually saying it?
Gag near them.

Does Nintendo handle things better with VC games on a broken Wii?
This may not answer your question directly Wubb, but a friend of mine decided to sell his Wii. He eventually decided he wanted a Wii again, but wondered if he could get all his VC games back. He had a talk with Nintendo over the phone and they let him, because he linked his Nintendo.com profile with his Wii, so everything he downloaded is tied to his name. Because he had that, he was able to get everything back. I think it works the same way for repaired consoles.

So anyway, I recommend logging in as your Nintendo.com profile when using the Wii Shop Channel (if you haven't registered, do so at Nintendo.com before hand).

The first game I got, I wasn't registered. The 2nd game I got, I did, and it was listed (my first game wasn't).

Hope that helps a little. :)

I'm glad I have it registered with N.com then.
All my VC games show up there.
I was walking up the stairs behind my co-worker and I could smell his B.O. trail coming from his jeans. :(
That's just plain disgusting TFN.
Uh, ok I'll bite: what's up wit da title and why isn't gwen fixin' to stop any unecessary provokin'? There was a lot of mod gripin' in GGT about flame wars and unecessary provokin', but I guess OTT is untouchable? :whistle2:s
I asked Cheapy a while back if I could completely ignore what goes on in the OTT and he said that was fine.

So unless someone does something blatantly stupid that would get Cheapy & CAG in trouble (posting pr0ns, roms, terror threats, that sort of thing) and I'm the only one around, I'm keeping the mod-blinders on in here.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I tried linking my N account but couldn't remember the password so I gave up. I better figure it out now.

I've dealt with Nintendo customer support maybe 2 or 3 times (first was when I was 12 maybe) and I have to say they have the best CS in the business.

I wasn't super impressed with Walmart's site to store shipping. At least it's free shipping... Here's my experience:

1. My Wal-Mart's Site to Store counter is the rear of the store. I asked at the front and a guy pointed me to it no problem.
2. Got there at 8PM and the counter's hours are 8AM - 10PM. There was nobody at the counter but it said to press a touch screen and somebody would be notified, so I did.
3. A few minutes pass and just as I'm about to go find somebody to ask a dude walks by and asks if anybody has been by yet. He says he'll clock in and get somebody back there. He then told me the people don't have their palm pilots that day which is how they are notified. I thought "I don't care buddy, just get somebody..." but I just smiled and nodded.
4. Over the next few minutes many employees walk through the area (an "employees only" door is off the counter) and a few more ask if I've been helped and offer to track somebody down when I say I haven't.
5. About 10 minutes in somebody finally shows up and from there it goes pretty smoothly.

10 minutes isn't all that long, but when you are standing at an empty counter wondering if somebody is ever going to help you it feels like an eternity. I'd use it again but they need to set up the notification thing so that maybe it actually notifies somebody? And then have that person get back to the counter within 1-2 minutes. That would be great.

I made a thread awhile back that addresses this issue. I took on the weighty topic of holding the breath while walking by or near someone that looks dirty/disheveled.
Joy Division is in Singstar.
For serious? In the PS3 version as a download? What song? Shit would be toi-ght.

(I thought New Order was in that one too for some reason. I actually like quite a bit of the Singstar soundtracks, the ones I've seen anyways.)

I got it to work. I opened the tray and closed it (before it could open)..and it fucking read the disc. How cheap is this console?

If I have to do this every now & then I'm fine with that. I really don't want to run into those DRM issues, that's just so fucked up. What's the point in having multiple users on a console if they can't play any of your games?
Many people may ask that question, but here's what SCEA does:

Sony has a pretty big stock of refurb. 20GB, 60GB, 40GB, and 80GB consoles. Whichever console breaks on you, is the one you'll get back. All SCEA does is send someone back a refurb of their model, and fix their old model and put it in the refurb pack to send out to someone else. From what I have heard, they never will have a problem UNLESS there's a mass PS3 breaking and the consoles can no longer be fixed. That's the situation, because the 20GB was discontinued at the end of 2006, and when someone got a 20GB that was dead on arrival (at PSU), they just said they'd replace it with another (this was a few months ago), but he ended up finding another Gamestop with it.

There were people who were worried when their 60GB broke also, but they were told they would get a 60GB back, and that's what they did. The only problem with the 20GB and 60GB models is I don't believe there any are made after March 2007 (There might be May 07, but I doubt it).

The only SKU with some stock issues is the 40GB I believe (since I heard someone who got an email stating it may take longer to get one back), but that's because the SKU is still relatively new and there just hasn't been all that many repaired yet (but over time won't be a problem).

There's snow outside. :whistle2:( It was 65 degrees on Sunday, then Tuesday is snowed and it's cold.
Thanks for the clearup.

On another note...LP was great last night...not the best I've seen since Chester was getting over tracheobronchitis but still awesome!

It was funny when me and my little brother and little sister were walking up to the Staples Center, I told him, remember when we were here at E3 a couple years ago and they had the bacon wrapped hot dogs...mmmmm I wish they had them now....then after the concert bam, bacon wrapped hot dog venders showed up and were selling some, I was looking for a friend so I walked away for a bit and unfortunately when I returned, they were gone...security kicked them out :bomb:...now I still have the craving for a bacon dog...I've tried to duplicate them but I can never get the bacon right, it always shrinks and falls off, I don't know how the get it to stick and look so good

Oh they are...I'm sure they're bad for you but they sure are damn tasty...CheapyD made a mention of them on a CAGCast a while back when he visited the LA Convetion Center at the last E3 IIRC.
I was pissed cause my DVR decided it wanted to delete everything on it for no reason so I didn't get to see 80's night. The fact that the Aussie sang Don't You (Forget About Me) sounds awesome.
It was seriously a great episode. Boy Wonder (David Archuletta) actually had one of the weaker performances IMO.

I'm watching some of them on Youtube right now. I'm surprised Luke chose to sing "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go."

Yeah, but I do love that song. :D He and Chikizie were the weakest IMO. I hope Noriega doesn't go...
Picked up the new XBL headset I ordered from Walmart.com day before yesterday. Instead of a big chunky thing that plugs into the controller with volume and mute switch it has a simple plug into the controller with a dongle on the cord for the volume and mute switch. Hopeully it won't crap out as fast.

Those are the new mics. That's the one that came with the missus' chatpad and it still works (8 months strong. Better than the others I recall)

If there's ever evidence needed that slapping a company's logo on a game will cause the game to sell more than it should, it's Rocketman: Axis of Evil. It does nothing better than the vastly superior Mutant Storm Empire. Besides giving players the ability to use blue space chicks as a character of course.

Thank goodness for review codes.

Also, does anyone know if there's a limited number of days in each Chapter in Bully? Or can I just not complete the missions and take classes all the time?

As for the B.O. jeans situation, I'd carry frebreeze around and attempt to spray their jeans/seat when they're unaware.
Yeah, but I do love that song. :D He and Chikizie were the weakest IMO. I hope Noriega doesn't go...
See, I liked Noriega's performance, but I absolutely HATE his attitude. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets kicked off soon for his attitude.

I voted for him a few times and never hit a busy signal. I was watching it taped delay so I didn't start until 20 minutes after the show ended, but still I'm not sure the phone lines were burning up for him.
That shit looks good.

I just bought some franks and bacon last night.
I know what I'm doing when I get home.
Let me know how it works out for you...the bacon always seems to shrink too much when I tried to duplicate it and they fall off, I've even tried toothpics and no luck...my next guess would be to try to boil water to plump them up then wrap the bacon on and grill until bacon is edible.

I've tried them(twice!) and I was disgusted both times. It's not even like I don't like garbage, greasy food, but bacon as a supplement to fast food does nothing for me.

I got one of those mics with my chatpad and it broke in 3 months. I'm guessing it was just a bum mic though.

Oh...I thought you were just basing it on looks alone. I understand that they're not for everyone...did they give you the poopers?
