We used to live in Texas so I know all about heat ( the heat in NC is pretty bad as well since it is really humid here). I don't mind the heat too much, but I fucking hate the cold.

The heat in VA gets ridiculous but the cold is rarely too bad. This might be one of those years we just happen to get nailed with a blizzard though. I can only hope, as I have never seen more than 6 inches of snow in my life.

I own three jackets, no coats. Which is why today I am goingg to freeze my nuts off. I plan on working at the fastest rate possible though to ty and keep warm. Too bad the wind is going to be punching me in the face the whole time. Plus I work right next to the ocean so the winds will be going twice as fast.

You can thank judyjudyjudy for giving us the head's up on electrictroy = fred_h_haddad, though he hadn't done anything out of sorts until yesterday's posting. Had he not done it, he still might have stayed under the radar. :roll:

And after Casey made it so clear that The Don needs to stop making topics like he's done, I gave him a two week trip to Ban-town to think about why we don't need any more attention whores on CAG.

In other news, my component cables from Monoprice.com shipped yesterday, as did my Wii component cables. Now, I just need to find a Wii. :D

fred_h_haddad = electrictroy, the PITA who was a complete attention whore who spent most of his time in the Game Auctions forum, complaining about eBay and how he screwed over people. He was banned, and kept coming back for a while. judy^3 brought it to our attention about him seeming like he's back, and he fucked up yesterday. So, he's gone.

I'm hoping The Don gets the hint and stop acting like an angsty little emo boy. :roll:

Picked up Jungle Beat w/ the extra bongos this morning. The guy at the register was wondering why they had gotten a huge shipment of those things in. :lol:

Yes sir. There are two hurdles:

1) You'll get a $6 shipping charge. This is odd especially for me because I apparently got the deal before this was in place. So after taxes, I paid $32 for two sets, which is pretty awesome.

2) There's a chance you'll get Pelican as the second set. I hadn't thought of this when I ordered, but then again I'm not buying these for me, so I don't really care. The little bugger will be happy enough with what he's getting, and I imagine there won't be a huge number of scenarios where two player is required, so I figure it's still a good deal.

It appears that people doing it B&M are getting both - some people get the official set, others are having the Pelicans foisted upon them. So I want to see if Sir Subs got an official set or not.
