But I'll add my linky. Not sure if this is story referenced regarding Georgia above. They rewrote the laws after arresting a 17 year old boy for consensual acts (even by both sets of parents) and wont set him free. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page=wilson

Seriously, some of the laws are so archaic that they're pointless like in some states it's illegal for unmarried people to live together. I'm of the opinion that the age of consent laws need an overhaul for everyone's best interests. Something like once 16, you cant be punished for "dating" anyone within 4 years of your age over the age of 16. Never understood why it's such taboo for a 17 y/o and a 20 y/o to be together. While we're redefining laws how about fixing the sexual predatory laws by giving them classes. Like class 1 is urinating in public (which is a sexual deviant act currently). I think people would feel better (and thus less antagonizing towards said person) if they lived next to a class 1 than a class 3 sexual predator.

Please continue so I can update my knowledge bank on the above 9 subjects.

I didn't bother reading the last few pages, but from this page's comments I can safely say I DID NOT bone her. That would be pure stupidity.

Although really, it easily could have led up to that. I made my mind up right away though that I would resist it, and I made sure she knew. So no boning or overly-sexual contact.

It went well though. I wish it wasn't percieved that I was going to this girl's house in order for a quick fuck, since I'm actually looking into a relationship with this girl. She has more to talk about and has more maturity than most of my senior girl friends.

If she is its up to u to wait or not the risk is probly low.


its funny because 2 years diference is probly the most common diference in age when you look at all couples of all ages and everyone here knows the diference in looks and such between a 16 year old and 18 can be very slim.

I don't think many around here would argue that 2 year difference is too much. But, at their age, it's illegal. And the OP said he could see himself having a serious relationship with this person. If that's the case, then a rational person would think he could keep it in his pants until it is no longer illegal. Again, that's assuming he wasn't looking for a quick poke 'n go in the first place.

I don't know what the rules are in your state for age... but the thing is, IF she is a minor, and you do anything to her - no matter how much she begs for it - if it's against the law, her parents can press charges against you, and you will be a registered sex offender for the rest of your life. No matter how much she wants you, if it's illegal, she has no choice.
 
Ok look at it this way. Say you JUST go over and sleep. Actually sleep, no kissing or anything. Right. Then you get caught by the parents...police get involed perhaps. Now look at this. You're innocent right? What if....she isnt a virgin. Parents cry rape. You're in trouble. Maybe not jail but still, accusations, etc, etc. If you like her that much, date, don't sleep over, just hang out, in public.
