So what kinds of foods do CAGs eat?

Just curious to see what touches everyones' palate...also, I'm getting bored of the same old foods I eat on a regular basis (broke SOB here).

I eat a lot of cheap fruit like bananas, spinach, bread, milk, chicken and whatever else is fairly cheap (and at least somewhat nutritional). I don't go for fast food though or sugary foods.

Italian. Lots and lots of Italian. Cause I am Italian, probably. And I grew up in a mostly Italian town, so when I went over my friends' houses, their parents were like for lunch, "Nick, you want cappacuolo and prosciutto with your calzone?"

And pork roll. I love pork roll, or taylor ham, if that's what you call it.

While not eclectic, I try new stuff all the time. I don't have food network anymore, so I can't see foods and decide if they're worth trying. Really the question is too broad.

Mediterranean and northern European food is sort of difficult to stomach for me, though.

Chicken Fingers/Tenders/Strips (no sauce)
Fried Chicken
Spaghetti (with regular sauce, only meat is okay with it. No mushrooms, etc.)
Hamburger w/ no cheese, no lettuce, etc. (100% plain)
Steak (with no topping)
Shake and Bake or BBQ Pork Chops (although I trim out the fat)
French fries with salt (no ketchup)
Rice (just regular Minute Premium Rice)
Pillsbury Ready 2 Bake Sugar Cookies
Pillsbury Cresent Rolls (original)
Bread (If I have a sandwich, I just eat bread, no PBJ and so on)
Rolls

and some more stuff. Those are the main things I eat

that's a pretty unhealthy diet
that's a pretty unhealthy diet
Just read my blog entry relating to how picky I am. I do not eat healthy at all really (but then again, there are many unhealthy foods I don't eat), but that's because I'm very picky and only like certain foods. I didn't include about eating pancakes, and other things (which I occasionally eat).
you are aware two pieces of bread doesn't constitute a sandwich, right?
The meat is more important than the bread.

Sweet-potato tempura sushi.

I crave it. I dream about it.

Also, sometimes:
Cedar's Garlic Lover's Hummous with Wheat Thins.
Chicken Pad Thai.
Carnitas Burritos from Chipotle.
Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream.

Like most Italian, Chinese, Mexican and a spattering of various other stuff.

Only thing I wuss out on is undercooked stuff. Love fish, but... just... can't... try sushi. Oh well.

Oh, one thing...

THOSE BEARD PAPA PASTRIES LOOK WORTHY OF KILLING FOR! HOT DAMN!

TMK...seriously I worry about you sometimes. You really need to at least take a multivitamin in the morning if you're going to subsist off of a diet of crap (from a nutritional standpoint that's what all that food is) like that.

I just moved about 6 days ago, and discovered this exciting lil' haunt. Their pizza is amazingly good.

Also, our not-vegetarian-but-kinda-hippy (yikes!) nonetheless culinary sensibilities are totally in heaven in Athens. Huge farmers' market, lots of restaurants featuring local/organic foods, and the Kroger has some incredible produce itself.

But, on a given week, if I'm working a lot:
Morning: coffee (2-3 cups; yeah, I know), Thomas' Double Fiber English Muffin (high dietary fiber to offset the carb content) w/ olive oil margarine and strawberry preserves, or 2-3 eggs, or a bowl of special K w/ 1% milk.

Lunch: sammich on wheat/multigrain bread: probably turkey w/ a slice of cheddar. Or tuna salad (I'm generally not a picky eater, but I won't eat any canned tuna other than solid albacore in water). More coffee.

Dinner: chicken breast, plain. Rice dish (long grain and wild if I have my way, though my wife hates it so I can't cook it every night), and a steamed vegetable (green beans, corn, etc.). Milk or water to drink.

Snacks throughout the day: depends. Could be a protein shake, could be a payday candy bar. I'm crazy and unpredictable like that.

But I will *never* turn down the offer of a cheap and/or good sushi lunch.

JEKKI inspired me to post the food I love to eat out.

I could eat that stuff everyday if I had to (I just LOVE KFC Popcorn Chicken so much). Whenever I travel anywhere, I want to know where KFC is so I can get some Popcorn Chicken.

Breakfast: Cereal w/ fat free milk, fruits, oatmeals, yogurt drinks
Lunch: Pasta (mostly w/out meat
Snacks: Protien Shakes, Tuna, occasional candy binge if Im feeling dead tired, Nutrition bars
Drink: Water, OJ, Skim or Soy milk, Gatorade, 1-2 cans of soda (preferably Cheerwine) if Im dead tired after gym
Dinner: Occasionally a smoothie (protein enriched), occasional pasta, occasional fast food (whatever I might be craving), non fried chicken (shake and bake with cut up chicken tenderloins equals easy and tasty chicken nuggets), Love sushi, Pasta (cut way back on creamy sauces), Pizza, Slow cooked pot roast, lots of other things

Hell, if you are young, in shape, have a good metabolism right now... enjoy some of these foods while you can... I still have a great metabolism at 34 but slowly have introduced more healthier choices in my diet, while enjoying the foods I really crave from time to time... dont let the food police get you down... I mainly eat healthier in hopes it will help produce faster race times on weekends.

That popcorn chicken is prettty good, as long as you dont get a batch of really small overcooked pieces, havent had it in a couple years, maybe they have improved that aspect
(preferably Cheerwine)
Southern, are we?

;) I tried that a year and a half ago and had flashbacks of my high school days of "roboing."

I love it, it is very hard to find down here in Alabama, was going to pick up a ton of it in the Carolinas on my recent Va trip, then alas the WalMart near my work began stocking it... but now they dont again... I have 5 12 packs which I will slowly consume until I can find another outlet for my addiction... it was much easier to find in my native Va...

Most of the time I eat a sandwich (with a lot of meat) and some Potatoe chips of either Utz or Lays brand. Half the time the parents get pizza once every two weeks also.
I didnt know former VP Dan Quayle was a CAG...lol

Speaking of Dan Quayle, his hometown (where he comes to visit at times) is the county RIGHT next to mine (very small town). There are so many Dan Quayle fans in my area because of that.
Dude, that stuff is seriously unhealthy...just force yourself to eat Italian. The best fucking food in the whole world.
I only like some Spaghetti and some pizza. That's really the only Italian food I like.

My stomach might not be flat (may stick out a tad sometimes), but I'm still super skinny. I do feel I need to lose some weight though.

I love Popcorn Chicken, but I had it when I get those overcooked pieces (like when I got KFC on Saturday last week).
