For those that know or open presents early, or if it's the 25th, what'd ya get? Only opened one card.. $25 giftcard, woohoo! I stick to my guns about Christmas, I refuse to open any presents before the 25th..

we opened ours last night as my girlfriend is going out of state to visit her family for Christmas and left this morning. We got each other the identical MP3 players (by coincedence) and I bought myself a Wii last weekend and her a digital camera to offset the Wii.

Downside to getting gifts early-I get to spend Christmas alone now. My folks live back in Arizona.

Upside- I'm thinking horror movie marathon Christmas day.

I'd speculate $100 from my grandparents, $100 from my mom, jack shit from my long gone pops and a 500gb hdd from my lovely lady.
 
Speculation that my sister got me a bottle of Makers Mark Bourbon after I jokingly asked her for it. Rumor has it she at first got me a $30 gift card to eb but took that back to buy me booze.
 
I know I got a paper shredder!! And my g/f made me a nice warm blanket. I'm probably going to get several gift cards today/tomorrow.
 
My Something Awful Secret Santa got me a Mankind t-shirt, Gerber keychain knive, marshmallow peeps cutouts, a box of Candy Strangers apple sours, Jesus bandages, Play-Doh holiday ornaments, a thing of self-adhesive stylish mustaches, a nerf gun and a handwritten letter.

I still amazed that a total stranger spent so much money on me, it really made my Christmas that much better.
 
The only game-related item I asked for was Bully for the PS2. I don't have any of the new consoles, and I still have a ridiculous pile of unplayed PS2 games, so if I don't get it, no big deal.

On the other hand, I do know that Santa will be leaving a pair of DS Lites, one for my son and one for my daughter, and that between Santa, their grandparents and their uncle, they'll be getting 8 games to go with them, so I will be playing some of those myself as well.
 
Parents got me a Wii that I stood in line for, and my girlfriend got me some candy, some penguin things, and a $50 gift card to Gamestop/EB, which has already gone towards Genesis Collection and Every Extend Extra.
 
Nothing yet, other than a $20 Walmart card (turned it into a 1600 Market Place point Gears of War card) and a $10 EB/Gamestop card (probably similar fortune as the Walmart card, with some out of pocket money)

I will update tomorrow evening.

Edit: Also, in all fairness to Scorch, this is a Christmas specific one, not a "generic" holiday one. No offense though to the one that reposted Scorch though, as thats always classic.
 
The only thing I know for a fact that I got was The Adventures of Robin Hood from my sister. That film and Errol Flynn is awesome.

Other than that I won't know until Christmas Day.
 
I always end up getting my gifts early, because I don't go see anyone around this time of year, so they always send them to me, and they send them early so they get to me before X-Mas. Plus, even if they do live near me, they just drop them off before they go home for the holidays, which leaves me to open them as soon as I close the door. Anyway...

My friend got me God of War... I know it's not alot compared to the giga lists being posted here, but it's the thought that counts, and the game is fucking awesome and I was sad I sold my copy a long time ago.

Now I have another one, that is still non GH, that is awesome... she didn't spend alot of money but still, God of War is more than enough, I'm gonna play it all day today.

My other friends didn't get me shit because that's how it's been the last 5 years, we decided a long time ago that it was one less thing to stress about during Christmas.

No clue what my parents got me.

Work clothes (ie. collared shirts, ties, socks, dress pants, etc)...all that I picked out and my fiancee bought and wrapped and I guess I get to open tomorrow.

Probably an EB gift card and some more clothes from her parents.

I bought myself the 3rd and 4th James Bond box sets for Christmas which I have already opened and watched a few of.

So far, cookie sheets and a wire rack to cool them on (which may sound sort of ho-hum but I actually needed them) and a $25 EB/GS gift card. (I love my gamer friends. :D) I won't be opening the rest until tomorrow.
 
We only spend $150 on us kids in my family for Xmas, so I put it toward a 360.

I got a $10 GC to Blockbuster and a NERD CD from my Secret Santa

Miller Lite PJ pants from my mom

a $25 GC from Best Buy from my dad

Money from my aunt and my grandparents

And the gifts for me that I bought me, so far only Phoenix Wright for $20 at TRU, but I'll pick up Castlevania for $20 at CC Tuesday, Gears and COD3 sometime soon, and others probably
 
From my Family we're giving presents in about a half hour, and I've already been told my mom doesn't want to be bothered with presents this year so she's just giving us cash, which I may put towards a Wii.

Well, I ended up getting the DVDs for Xmas-- the whole thing was a trick to get me a DVD set that I would like. But I don't like Chapelle show...er, I like it but who hasn't seen all the episodes a thousand times already? :lol: well, good thing I saved the receipt :)

My mom is coming back from her friends house with our gifts. They usually end up at the goodwill. I could understand the comment its the thought that counts. If she was buying new stuff. But she buys used stuff from the flea market.
Its not because of money trust me on that. She just bought and paid for a $500,000 home. Also she owns two business.

She's notorious for buying cheap things and inflating the prices. Like she bought her husband boots from the flea market. Said they were $500. I found a tag of the inside that side $10-. Last year she got me a hot lather machine for shaving which was actually cool, and thoughtful, it didn't work though. She bought my dad a (toy) truck that holds walnuts.
